She took the time to listen to my story, understand my needs, and guide me through the many options available. Her compassion and patience were unmatched as she helped me try on different styles and colors until we found the perfect one. Her genuine care and support turned what could have been a difficult and emotional experience into a positive and empowering one. All of this while juggling a other customer as well! I left the store feeling beautiful, confident, and truly cared for. All associates were friendly and helpful. This is one of the places I stopped by during wig shopping. There were a decent selection of reasonably priced wigs toward the back of the store. I wanted a wig that was long with layers. One of the sales ladies came to my aid immediately. She let me know I can try on the wigs after purchasing a wig cap, which was only around $1. Since I didn't have much experience wearing wigs, she helped me put them on. She let me know what she thought of each wig and assisted in picking out a few different styles for me. In addition, she gave me tips on washing and taking care of wigs. She was so friendly and sweet. There was one wig in particular that we both loved in reddish color, which was long and had beautiful waviness, as well as volume to it. I was able to get it 15% off and without taxes because it was the last one. I returned another time with a couple of friends and was helped by Jasmine, who was extremely personable, funny, and honest with her feedback. This time I wanted a short wig that I can wear during the summer and not feel too hot. I didn't like how the first few I picked out looked, even though Jasmine and my friends all seemed to love a dark brown one. I finally found a curly cinnamon wine colored short wig that actually looked flattering to me, which also received everyone else's approval. I decided to stick with that color because I already have several red wigs. I was able to purchase it without tax again. Both wigs were only around $50. I also picked up rosemary oil for my hair and a pretty hot pink comb. Both were super cheap! They have a wide variety of all types and brands of beauty products. On my way out, the greeter at the front complimented me on my new look. Then at my event that night, someone mentioned my hair looked gorgeous and shiny! I would definitely return, as I really like the different options for wigs here and the prices are great! read more

bought a towel for $4.35 and got charged for $43.50 on my credit card, called the store 30 minutes after and they told me they had no idea what i was talking about and that i had to come back in to correct the mistake that they made on their end. manager on the line was rude and not helpful, and when i came in, they told me they had to check the video cameras for "proof" and because the video cameras were broken right now, couldn't refund me until they got them fixed. terrible level of customer service for a mistake on their end that i shouldn't have been asked to come in again about, and once i did come back in they couldn't even fix the problem. manager even had the audacity to ask me to come in AGAIN later for what should've been an easy refund and fix over the phone. i've literally never had a worse experience at any store in my life. I went out of my way to come here. This is the place to go if you want to glam yourself up. They were the only beauty supply store open during the Corona pandemic selling what I needed . I got my Moroccan oil here and my first pair of strip lashes 100 percent human hair. The fantastic knowledgeable lady remembered me in front and answered all of my questions. I am actually bewildered at this point. I have never been accused or suspected of stealing ever in my life. This has put the icing on the cake for me. I came in to shop for a couple of items, I will not lie I was in the store for a while. I was given a basket in which I did use for the products I purchased. I then realized why it was given to me because they suspected me! I purchased 40 dollars worth of items. I was stopped at the door with claims I have items in my pocket. Once emptied nothing was found and everyone stood in silence. The lady simply walked away. No apology but a " it looked like you were stuffing something in your pocket" I expressed my dislike of how they treated me and the aftermath. I barely even got an apology just a brushed-off apology sorry mam have a nice day. and claims that the accuser so happens to be on lunch. By FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! No thanks to this store. Don't go here. I don't typically write reviews, but have to because my shopping experience was absolutely HORRIBLE. I live pretty close to the area and came here because I was in the area and wanted to find a nicer store. The setup of the store is nice, however, after entering the store, I was followed which made for an uncomfortable shopping experience. Once I reached the register, a young lady approached me out of no where and DEMANDED to check my bag. I was shocked and questioned why she needed to do so and that is when she informed me I had stolen an item. I addressed her about how she talked to me and she seemed dumbfounded. Like she was clueless about why I would be upset after being falsely accused of shoplifting. I questioned her and the cashier who was also hostile with me about whether this was a typical shopping experience for their customers. I also politely informed them to check their cameras as they have cameras everywhere. They never apologized or admitted to being wrong in their accusations. This is the first time I have ever been profiled and accused of shoplifting in my entire life. And will be the best last time I ever go to this store. The customer keeps them in business. Without the customers, they have no paycheck or business. Don't go here. Take your business elsewhere. read more

so I work in Worldwide Plaza which is across the street. I loved the convenience of this store and I have spent A LOT of $$$ on BOTH hair products and makeup. I found a lovely lipstick brand and I went back to get more colors. The color I wanted did not have a tester. I asked the owner if I buy it could I return it if the color doesn't agree with me, he says of course not laughing....so I'm looking at him like "so I am supposed to buy a lipstick without knowing what the color looks like. I walked out empty handed and I would only go there if I were completely desperate. That was the worse customer service AND that's why the store is always empty. He told me the salesman comes back with the testers once a month....not sure what I was supposed to do with that information--- again TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THIS IS WHY THIS STORE HAS NO CUSTOMERS...maybe it will go out of business soon... This place is honestly amazing and a gem. You might not think they have great/ high quality stuff but they do! It is amazing how many products they have and also how clean and organized the whole place is. HUGE and awesome selection all the way from low end to high end stuff Also a great selection of Japanese beauty stuff which is a huge plus for me. I rarely take the time out of my day to give someone negative feedback, in this case I was left with no other option. I received horrible customer service by the store manager or owner here. I purchased 10 packages of toner which were never used and unopened. I went back to try and get a store exchange even for less value because of the ridiculous 7 day exchange policy overlapping. I even had the receipt with me and because there was an identical product thrown in the bag along with the others he accused me of lying and was rude. He actually would have made money on the exchange but instead chose to be disrespectful and hard headed. Stay open minded and understanding if you are in charge of a store in the center of the world! Would have gave negative or zero star rating if that were an option. Plenty of other better beauty supply stores in the area, take your business elsewhere! read more

Beauty supply store that DIDN'T follow me around the store. SHOCKING. I needed to get some hair supplies while I was in the area before I went home and this was the closest place open. Glad I came here. This place is huge. They have a wide selection from what I could tell and two large asiles of Black hair care products (including raw shea). They didn't have the brand I was looking for (TGIN) but that wasn't so surprising as I had only seen that brand in one other place. I ended up loving the stuff I got. The employees I encountered were friendly as well. It's such a low and sad standard but as a Black woman it is meaningful that I was able to shop without encountering hostile stares or without being followed. I often feel anxious going into these shops because I am often treated in a discriminatory manner. I felt quite comfortable there and will definitely be journeying back. Just to note- I was accompanied by a White woman and another WOC but they stayed in one spot talking to each other while I wandered the store on my own. About a week ago I spent about $80 dollars on hair products and bought a purple shampoo (one that takes out brassy in blonde hair) someone tampered with it where is actually had purple hair dye mixed in with it. I was in total shock and have pictures to prove it had purple hair dye on it as I took a white piece of cloth and put me same shampoo on it and it turned purple. My blonde hair has been partly ruined and I've never had this happened before. When I called the store owner he refused to take any ownership and said it's not his fault. read more
