Hampton Inn & Suites Grove City - The Fitness room

The Hampton Inn & Suites Grove City is located in Mercer, Pennsylvania, right off Exit 113 on I-79…read more This hotel is minutes from the Grove City Premium Outlets and close to schools like Grove City College and Slippery Rock University. This is an older-style Hampton property, but it is clean, has large, spacious rooms and is well managed and maintained. This hotel has an Indoor heated pool with a hot tub, a fitness center with a good blend of older and newer cardio equipment, free weights, and features a Peloton that anyone can use with the hotel's account or their own account with a free account. My room was a large King suite with plenty of floor space, a refrigerator, coffee station, a separate sink and additional storage space. The wifi is a bit slow for my liking, but I was able to surf, check emails and do other general tasks. There is a premium Wi-Fi offer for higher-tiered members or for a daily fee. Breakfast is buffet-style with a choice of hot and cold offerings as well as cereals, breads, eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit and other items. Overall, a problem-free stay in a well-maintained property close to highways, gas stations, restaurants, schools and an outlet mall.

This location was great and they had 3 electric chargers. The employees were friendly and the rooms…read moreare super big and clean. Why I can't give this 5 stars..... you will have a Red Hot Moment. No matter how low you set the thermostat, (we had the lowest) the air only ran 1 time at night. It's August guys. I can't imagine how warm July would have been. I finally woke up sweating and did donuts in the middle of the room trying to set off the sensors. It worked and at 3am we finally got air. The ac did not kick back on till 8am. The other setback are the thin ceilings. Think 5 year old running around at 6am on your ceiling.

This campground is the type of place I always wanted to visit as a kid. It is huge with so many…read moreactivities that you could literally spend your entire vacation here and never leave the grounds. I recently visited with my partner and our two kids. Let's just say, we aren't totally the dedicated campers where we need to pitch tents, bring all the accessories and sleep on the ground. That's why this place especially stood out as they had luxury cabins for rent. Or as my partner said, I'm good as long as I have air conditioning and running water! The cabin came with a screened-in porch, an outdoor fire pit for evening s'mores, a loft where the kids slept, a full living room and kitchen with refrigerator another room with bunkbeds, a bathroom and then the master bedroom at the back of the cabin complete with dressers to put away your clothes. I'm one of those people that always unpacks and must have things organized, so it was a lifesaver. You can rent golf carts, highly recommended as the grounds are spacious and some of the cabins are located far away from the activities. There are also communal laundry facilities, which were great to have since we had to use them day 1 of our trip! The common area offers free activities like playgrounds, mini golf, character meet n' greets and wagon rides along with firetruck rides. Other activities cost extra like ceramic making, tie die shirt making, glitter tattoos and several others. Some nights they offer free movie screenings and other programs. Overall, this was like camping without the pain! That's my kind of camping. Cabin rentals are a little pricey, but with all that space, it could accommodate a large family or even combine it with others to help split the cost. Finally, the biggest hit was the water park. This is a can't miss. We got a poolside cabana and spent most of our days here. The kids didn't want to leave!

Kids were extremely let down with their vacation. Paid for a stay that included absolutely nothing. Check their hours of operation and make sure you choose the correct "season". (Don't assume that summer means anything is open.)They do not make this clear at any point and the website makes no indication of what is or isn't open when you make the reservation unless you specifically search for this information. Save your money and go to the Mill Run Park.
