I attended an event as a part of the volunteer committee that was helping with some of the logistics such as food and clean up, so I got to see a little bit of the behind the scenes stuff. The kitchen area is very small, but has a fridge and large ice maker. It's best for premade food that doesn't need a lot of prep. The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating, if you do need anything. The main room is really pretty and has a neat ceiling covered in white drapery. It can be transformed to many different styles, depending on your taste. I especially like the large stair case that enters the main room, just inside the doors to the garden area.

We chose her month-of wedding coordinator package and it was 1000% worth every penny. They provided tools and resources to help make planning decisions, took their time to really understand what we needed and wanted, and made everything come together seamlessly leading up to and on the day of our wedding. About one month before our wedding, we had a meeting with Kimberly and Melanie to discuss every detail of the wedding from vendors, to party favors, to song choices that really helped us to be sure we had everything covered. Melanie contacted all of our vendors in advance to discuss any final plans and scheduling which made the month leading up to the wedding as low stress as possible. There was a last minute change with our reception location wihch could have made for a very stressful wedding day, however Melanie was able to coordinate all the necessary changes with Snowbird as well as all of our vendors with minimal required effort on our part. Most brides talk about how stressful wedding day can be, however I honestly felt relaxed and confident knowing everything was in Menalie's more than capable hands. Every time someone asked me a question I responded with, I'm not sure but I bet Melanie knows - and she did. The day after our wedding all of our gifts and DIY items were neatly put together and available for us to take home without any stress of lost items. We were thrown quite a curve ball the day of my wedding in that due to a completely unforeseeable situation, our venue became unavailable. I work as a project manager and can admit I am a very hands-on and organized person. I originally did not plan to hire any additional planning or coordinating services but finally decided an extra pair of hands would be helpful. Even if everything had gone according to plan, Roberta & Shelby were SO much more than just the extra pair of hands I thought I needed. There was no way any of us could have predicted the last minute venue change, but Roberta & Shelby handled it flawlessly. Without them, no amount of my organization or planning could have pulled off our wedding the way they did. Roberta was incredibly professional. She notified me early on of the changes, but only after she had time to begin working out a new action plan. I appreciated being kept in the loop, but also appreciated that she didn't call me the second the news broke...informing me of problems without potential solutions to offer would have been extra stress I didn't need in that moment. Roberta & Shelby were also absolutely in sync with Park City Resort and all of my other vendors. The communication and coordination was excellent. Because they had both taken the time to get to know me and understand my vision in the weeks leading up to the wedding, they did an amazing job of recreating our decor in a new venue space. Everything was exactly how I would have liked to see it, even though I wasn't available to provide any input. The planning leading up to our wedding was also perfectly executed. Roberta & Shelby asked the right questions, ran with my ideas, and prompted me to think about different approaches when appropriate. Roberta & Shelby are both extremely capable and professional, but what makes them stand a part from other professionals in your field is how genuine they are. They genuinely wanted to make this wedding my dream wedding, and they went above and beyond at every turn. Roberta even offered to hold our guest's baby during dinner so the couple could enjoy their meal. Although this wasn't something I saw, at least 20 of my guests did notice and made a point to tell me how amazing the Hoopes team was! The plant and decor options were good, I do with I had another smaller terrarium option. There were **70** people in our class. Far too many in my opinion. It was hard to walk around sometimes and we ended up in a smaller back room (which actually we were fine with due to sound levels). So go early if you want a table in the main room. They have a lot of people to help out. Everyone was super nice and helpful but we especially loved working with Susan! She was really informative, we appreciated her experience.

Not only was the end product great, but they were excellent to work with, despite our ever-changing headcount, menu adjustments and last minute adjustments to the venue setup. I appreciated their flexibility and "roll with it" attitude. We ended up with more food than we needed, and they were wonderful to package it all up and provide it to us. My favorite part of it all was that they took care of everything from setup to serving and cleanup. There was enough on my plate-literally-that I was so grateful not to have to worry about the food. She would always return calls and emails promptly and answer any questions and concerns I had. But she was a terrible officiant. She did not even attempt to say my name (it's not that hard; she should have asked me when we met those few times and when we talked on the phone a few times), skipped the ceremony verbage; whined about heat when she knew it was an outside wedding in July; said I was disrespectful for not paying attention to her after the ceremony (it's only my wedding day, but she doesn't care. The wedding planner and my brother-in-law asked her how she was doing, and gave her water, but she was still "whiny"); and on top of that, threatened me with a doctor bill for getting overheated to give to her attorney. Guests let us know how unprofessional, unorganized and terrible she was at the ceremony. Please do not ruin your special day with her as your officiant.
