NOPE. It's weeks of planning, meeting, and corresponding by email. It's reaching out to every vendor the week of the wedding to lock down arrival and departure times the day of the wedding and answer every little question I or the vendor had so that the bride/groom wouldn't have to deal with ANY of it. So when it says "day of wedding coordinator," it's by no means just one day of work. Jackie is meticulous, organized, and just a joy to be around. She's a fun person! It put my mind and heart at ease knowing that she was taking care of everything (and this coming from a semi control freak). I was able to let go and enjoy being with family and friends. I can honestly say that the day of the wedding, I was so relaxed and a huge part of it was thanks to Jackie. I'm laid back enough and figured I could handle anything that was needed by my venue. Boy, was I wrong! I found High Tides and paid for their "day of only" service and was FLOORED by how much help they provided, not just on day of only. Christie C. was our coordinator, we had a phone call a few months prior to our wedding to go over many details. Christie contacted and worked with all our vendors, secured whatever our wedding venue needed, created timeline after timeline. My husband and I didn't have a lot we wanted and Christie rocked it by bringing up suggestions and helping guide me when many times I was like, I don't really know! I feel like she went far beyond the "day of only" package we purchased. We even had to postpone our wedding 4 days before the original date due to my husband's father falling ill and Christie was a God send helping us navigate all the changes and re-planning of our wedding to four months later. One big thing also, we were BEHIND on our scheduled timeline during our wedding, by at least 1-1.5 hours and Christie NEVER made me feel it. She gently and professionally handled our delays and let our wedding day move forward at our speed. I can't express enough how much I appreciate her kindness, care, and get it done attitude during our entire planning process and wedding day. She handled so much behind the scenes, made decisions for us, and was ONLY a positive and awesome enhancement to our day. Trust me when I say you CAN NOT GO WRONG with High Tide Events. I recommended them to a friend who got married shortly after me and they knocked it out of the park at her wedding too, my friend had Kelli as her coordinator and she too rocked it. Prompt reply to emails and was always available for questions. Our wedding was fairly straightforward in terms of logistics. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all located at the same hotel in an outdoor setting. Overall, things went smoothly, in large part to Kelli. But when it started pouring rain in the middle of the reception, that's where Kelli really shined. She made me feel at ease, worked with the DJ and the hotel staff to move the party into a ballroom. And just like that, 10 minutes later we were dancing again! She also picked up all of our centerpieces, guest gifts and other decor items from the pouring rain and packed them securely and neatly in our hotel room before the night was over. She worked effortlessly with all vendors and was sweet, easygoing and kind. I am so grateful to Kelli and truly believe my reception could have been a disaster if it weren't for her!

She expressed initiative and communicated with us throughout the process both behind‐the-scenes and "on stage". Tara is a Day-Of-Event Coordinator, but for us, she was much more than that: Tara was a mediator who smoothed out any rough patches along the way (vendor contact, logistics, decorations). She was also a counselor during the moments when we were starting to lose our sh*t! Throughout COVID, she reached out many times to check in and was so sweet even when I was sad about having to change our date. She provided amazing referrals whenever I requested them. She truly was a key component in my fairytale wedding day vision coming to life! We had an issue with our mirror photobooth falling through and she found us a new one within weeks of our wedding date. On the day of she helped out everywhere she could and she worked tirelessly with our venue coordinator to ensure the day went seamlessly. During our ceremony right before my grand entrance, I saw my son run into the reception tent (lol) and she was right behind him chasing to make sure he was safe. We had an issue with our cake collapsing and she reached out to the vendor to ensure they knew we would be reaching out for a partial refund.
