Hi everyone. I am a 20-year-old male who has always had fairly thin lips, and lip injections have been something I have been considering for a fairly long time. After conducting a ton of online research and upon reviewing the comments left at this facility, I knew Plump Cosmetics would be the correct place to go if I were to have the procedure done. Upon committing to go in, I had made an appointment with Amber, and I have to say that I am extremely glad I did. I must say that because I am male, I was somewhat unsure how I wanted my lips to look like because I did not want them to be too feminine or over-the-top kind of look, but I knew I wanted just a bit more full look. When I met with Amber I was so excited to work with her because the amount of knowledge and expertise that she had relayed to me just by talking about my lips and what she thought would be best for me truly put me at ease. After listening to my desire for a more full yet natural look, she recommended that I get a .50ml syringe and a bit of botox for the upper lip (to help it remain apparent while showing teeth) and I did so because I genuinely trusted her expertise. Every step of the procedure, from my entrance and intake, to the numbing, and to the actual procedure, I felt so comforted, they are SO NICE. After my procedure was complete I can't tell you how happy I was with the accuracy of the results as they were astoundingly symmetrical and just how natural and plump I wanted my lips to turn out. I have been getting botox and fillers for close to a decade now and I have never had a more knowledgeable better injector than Felisha at the Tribeca location! I've also never had a better result in all of my years of injections! She doesn't overdo it. She makes you just look fresh and your best. And at 47 years old it's so important to have someone who knows what they are doing. She also introduced me to the lip flip instead of putting in more and more and more fillers and it's a game changer. Why has none of my other injectors ever told me about the lip flip? It would have saved me from having to dissolve a lot of migrated filler over the years. Jiyean is a MAGIC maker!! In September of 2021 I went to a place in Pennsylvania (NOT plump) to get .5 filler in my lips. This was my first time every doing any injections & it was terrible. I left with overly swollen lips and after the swelling went down my lips were just filled with bumps. I went back to have them fix it and redo the entire thing and it got better but not by much. It was something i was okay living with and figured I would just keep it and find a better place in NYC after 6 months. (I then found out the OLD place actually used the wrong type of filler in my lips and that was the biggest reason they got lumpy) In my research I stumbled upon Plump. I looked through reviews, photos & instagram posts until I ultimately decided Jiyean was my girl! When I went she unfortunately told me I had to be dissolved to try and start fresh. I ended up trusting her and let her dissolve and then re-fill a week later. Immediately after my refill my lips were GORGEOUS. She is truly a master with the needle and shaped them so beautifully. Sadly We discovered 3 small bumps after the swelling went down (so much better than the first time) but also found it occurs because of an odd/ rare reaction my body has with filler. Thankfully she didn't turn me away and we came together and decided to fill in around the bumps and make it all blend. I was nervous but happy she was willing to work with me and try her best to fix my problem! Now a week later my lips look PERFECT!!! I've been happily coming here for several years, and it's finally time for me to come to my senses and go elsewhere. The first awful experience I had was at the Williamsburg location (poorly placed cheek filler and only one eyebrow lifted from Botox). This last time, I got Botox only, no filler because I didn't want to bruise. However, the injector accidentally punctured a blood vessel under my eye. She was really sweet and apologetic, and admitted "I got too greedy with wanting to get all those fine lines and went to far". Then immediately said "well at least you get $110 off". Having no idea how bad this bruising actually was going to be, I happily accepted the $110. Turns out this was misleading, as the $110 were my own Alle points. 5 days later, I'm still severely bruised, and Plump customer service is so unhelpful. After tons of back and forth, they offered me a measly $50 after I spent $750 (plus many tens of thousands more over the years). They can keep their 6% discount. I went to the uptown location 2 months ago and ended up getting half a syringe in my lips. I had booked a consultation and the PA I saw was incredibly rude and dismissive of me. It was my first time getting filler and she basically acted as if I was a bother during the entire appointment (i.e. scoffing when I asked questions such as 'what would happen if the filler would migrate') I should have gone with my instinct and ended the appt. but I figured even though she was snobby she would do a good job. To this day my lips are uneven, bumpy and the filler does not look natural. I already had full lips but the half syringe is clearly visible in lumps on my lips. I even went back to another location 2 weeks after my appt to get them checked out, and another colleague admitted "I would not have used the type of filler this PA used on you" The only option they gave me was to dissolve them - which would have also dissolved $490. They told me if I did dissolve the filler, they would not refill them for free even though it was a clear mistake on the PA's part. Incredibly disappointed in my experience, I would never return here. read more

I came here a few months ago to get 0.5 cc lip filler for my first time; I was extremely nervous they'd come out overdone and fake, but Jiyean did such an amazing job to accentuate my natural lips! After the swelling subsided, I decided to go back for some more filler + masseter botox. I used to get Botox with Dr. B but he was booked and the only person I could get an appointment with was Jiyean Yoo. I have had great experiences with Dr. B but Jiyean was terrible. I've never bruised from Botox before. After my treatment with Jiyean, I was left with several bruises that lasted over a week. Giving this place 2 stars because if you get treated by the right professional, the place is good. I came in for Botox 10 days ago and I'm very happy with the results. I've been looking for a good place for along time and am thrilled to have found them. After I went over my desired results and concerns with Dr.Blinski he explained in detail to me how he was going to do the injections and why. His injections didn't hurt at all nor did I bruise or even swell up like I have with other Drs. I've been getting Botox along time and know from past experiences what and what doesn't work so he let me give my 2 cents while of course perfecting his plan. Also I've worked for a Dr at another Med Spa so sort of understand what's going on and in my opinion they have their A game on. It can be unsettling going to a new place but I was confident upon arrival till I left that they care about their clients. I also felt safe during this period of Pandemic as the office appeared sterile and they wipe everything down after touching it and of course they wore masks. It's in a great location and a pretty office by Bloomies and near all trains and buses plus I booked online which was easy and efficient.
