    Pork Belly Bao Buns and

Large brewery with inside and outside seating! The food and drinks were great. I enjoyed the Pork Belly Bao Buns and Hot Elote Dip with chips. The beers are brewed with fun flavors. I enjoyed the passion fruit sour. They have a gift shop with merch and sell local art. We visited on a very hot day so even sitting inside was toasty. They have big fans to try to keep the place cool. It was crowded on a Thursday.

Beers on Tap and Sorbetto 91

We stopped here on a Tuesday evening about a month ago on the return trip to Pittsburgh from New Jersey. At our beer distributor at home, they carry different Sorbettos from Ever Grain. We have always been fans of those, and thus wanted to visit the brewery since it was only a few hours away. We arrived around 9:40 PM, and online it said they closed at 10 PM. Despite this, we still decided to stop since we were only really looking for some beer to take home with us. The place was not packed, but there were several groups in there at the bar enjoying a drink and some socializing. I do not remember his name, but the gentleman working behind to bar was superb. He was kind, engaged in conversation, and had a great personality. He got us several samples to try while we were deciding what to purchase. It was fun to try some different things and the Sorbetto that they had on tap. They only had the Sorbetto 91 in the cans, so that is what we decided to get. Additionally, we purchased a t-shirt of the sale rack to commemorate our trip to the brewery. They had a good selection of branded merchandise to choose from. This would be a great place to come and hang out, enjoy some food and drinks, and gather with friends. They had a spacious indoor seating situation, a separate full bar area with additional tables, and outdoor seating. If we had not just come from eating dinner somewhere else, I would have wanted to enjoy a meal there. The vibes are great and seem to encourage hanging out and socializing. I would recommend stopping at Ever Grain if you are thinking about going. The facilities are great, they have an A+ staff, and their products are very good. Hope to be back in the future!

Fine brews, but note strict seating policy. Typically, we grab an open table after ordering a drink at the bar but here you will get ignored. Hostess is very nice though after I checked with her. Proceeded to order dessert and coffee. Very interesting menu. Cast iron strawberry cobbler is huge and good for at least two people. Coffee was good but unfortunately the cream was past expiry date. Today is 081525. I would recommend to stay at the bar, the brews are delicious, really enjoyed the Furbizia!

My wife ordered the Smashed burger with Tater tots and she added bacon to the burger. The burger was outstanding. I ordered the Fish and chips with Waffle fries. The fish was ok. The fish was too thin for my liking. We ordered the Beer battered broccoli for a starter and it was outstanding. We enjoyed everything about the restaurant.

We got here late...just in time for a drink or 2. Love their Sorbettos! Good service. Music was good and not too loud.

The short rib stroganoff was to die for and I swear it came out 2 mins after I ordered it. Hot & delicious comfort food yet it feels clean, not heavy at all. Cool bar and restaurant atmosphere with different spaces for different vibes. Nice outdoor seating area.

I really liked Ever Grain. I visited on a Wednesday for lunch and it was relatively empty. There are long tables all throughout and we had no trouble finding a table for 11. The outdoor space was so nice, it was a really hot day or else I would have grabbed a table outside. Service was quick and they have a kids menu, YAY! I ordered the smash burger with fries and a side salad. I also ordered the juicy hazy ipa. It was pretty good! My husband ordered the tacos and he really liked them. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in town again. Everything was reasonably priced.

Friday night : we stopped in for some dinner and drinks, a pon arrival we quickly noticed that the layout of the building is a little whacky. Very open concept however so you don't feel cramped at any point which is nice. The staff are all very friendly, The cocktails we ordered were made so wonderfully, balanced well and perfectly chilled. The beer battered cauliflower seriously didn't stand a chance! It's lightly battered which allows for the perfect crunch while also still enjoying the natural flavor of the veggie! There's an Asian inspired twist so the sauce is both spicy and sweet. There's burger and fries ( we're a burger and fries) nothing to rave about. But the Korean fried chicken bowl was delicious! The cabbage is fresh and sautéed just enough so that there's still a bit of crunch, the chicken is fried but still moist and the sticky rice just brings it all together. If you're in the area you won't regret stopping in.

Excellent! Great beer and food. 10 out of 10 recommend. Our waitress was amazing and offered suggestions as this was our first time here. This place has outdoor options for seating as well as inside. Very casual atmosphere!

Ever Grain Brewing has some very good beer, especially if you like hazy IPAs and sours. The food menu is quite good as well. We stop here often when we're in or passing through the area. Never had an issue with the service. And it has a nice vibe for a brewery.

Came back again because it was so good. This time I got the sorbetto sour and it was like drinking berry juice. It was so good I had to grab two 4-packs to come home with me! We all shared the nachos, Brie cheese, and wings. All really delicious. I also shared the BBQ chicken with a coworker and the chicken was so tender and flavorful and paired nicely with the kimchi and sticky rice. Definitely going to be a regular spot when I'm in the area.

We were checked on frequently as we perused the menu, which was appreciated. Once we put in our order, we had a bit of a wait for the food to come out, even though it wasn't super busy inside, which was fine. We received the food on piping hot plates, and everything looked great. I had shrimp tacos and was surprised they weren't served in the traditional taco holder, as I'd seen in photos from reviews. They were served flat on the hot plate. All the ingredients and sauces on the tacos made the corn tortilla shell soggy, to the point where I couldn't pick up any of my three tacos at all and had to eat them with a fork and knife. Each taco had 2 grilled shrimp, which were delicious, but they really need to be plated differently or served as a double tortilla shell so you can actually eat them. It came with a side of black beans/pico, which I was SO excited about, but my side dish of beans was mostly juice and maybe only 3 forkfuls of actual beans. You're only given a fork and a knife in your silverware, so I couldn't even try to make the best of it. I would've asked for a spoon, but our server didn't check on us for refills or anything once the food was dropped off. I will say - my husband got the steak and egg bowl and it was DELICIOUS. The steak was so tender and juicy and perfectly cooked, as were the potatoes. I do think it was a smaller portion for the price, but we both loved his dish. I'd definitely come back for that. He finished eating before me because I was struggling to eat tacos with a fork, but we still waited a while after we finished to get a small box and our check. Overall, we'd maybe come back, but it seems hit-or-miss based on what you order and who your server is. One drink and two entrees were $50, so we'd likely choose another spot before stopping here again.

Joy's Grill & Burger House became a Friday Night Date Night destination during my birthmonth after…read moreI spotted them on social media. I've driven by Joy's a million times and somehow never noticed it before. It's tucked into a busy strip mall and easy to miss if you're not specifically looking for it. Spoiler alert: you should be looking for it. My quest for the evening included both a burger and a chili dog, because they both looked amazing and I wanted the full Joy's experience. My adventure buddy and I arrived around 5pm and I was honestly surprised to see only one other person inside when we walked in. We grabbed a booth by the front door and looked over the menu again to finalize our plan. Since it was our first visit, we decided to order a few things and split them so we could try more. We ordered the loaded chili dog topped with chili, cheese, onions, and mustard ($5.25) and one of the Big Block Burgers -- specifically the Joy's Burger -- which came with grilled onions and mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, LA sauce, Swiss cheese, and fresh cut fries ($12.99). Naturally we added bacon for an extra $0.99 because that felt like the right decision. We also each grabbed a Diet Pepsi (to maintain some illusion of balance) for $2.50 each. Our total came to $25.69 before tip, which felt like a pretty solid deal for a two-person Friday night dinner adventure. The setup at Joy's has a classic old-school diner feel. The grill sits right behind the seating counter so you can watch your food being made, and they mix milkshakes right out front as well. The place is simple and no-frills -- and in my experience, those "keep it simple and do it well" places are often the real heavy hitters. The chili dog came out first, and the first thing I noticed was that this thing was HEAVY. This wasn't your typical skinny hot dog -- it was a full ¼-pound dog absolutely loaded with chili. The flavor reminded me of a Cincinnati-style chili dog and it was really good. The chili was flavorful instead of just decorative, the mustard and onions were balanced perfectly, and the bun did its job without getting in the way. As someone who takes chili dogs very seriously, I have to give Joy's credit for delivering a straightforward, perfectly executed chili dog. Next came the burger and fresh cut fries, and when I say this burger was big, I mean BIG. Two patties tall with all the toppings stacked high. We sliced it in half and immediately dug in. The bacon was perfectly crisp, the mushrooms and Swiss were generous, and the whole thing just tasted like a real, proper burger. Not a chain burger that started life frozen and tastes like it could have been reheated in my microwave at home. This was the kind of burger you picture when you say you're craving a burger. The fries were exactly what you want from fresh-cut fries -- the smaller ones nice and crispy, and the bigger ones crispy on the outside with that soft, fluffy inside. Splitting the chili dog and burger turned out to be the right call. It would have been easy to eat everything solo, but my stomach probably would not have forgiven me later. Our server was super friendly and attentive throughout the visit. While we were there, a few more people came in to eat, but overall it felt relaxed and easy for a Friday evening. Parking is free since Joy's sits in a strip mall, but it can be a little tight because there are several other popular businesses nearby. We were able to find a spot without trouble, but I could see it getting tricky during busier times. If you're looking for solid burgers, legit chili dogs, and an old-school diner vibe, Joy's Grill & Burger House is absolutely worth seeking out -- especially if you're like me and always on the lookout for your next great burger or chili dog adventure.
