After reading some other reviews and my own personal experience, I would suggest avoiding this company. Guy was going door to door offering a few inspection. I agreed and set up an appointment for noon on a Friday Even talked to a guy on the phone to verify the information and appointment time. Friday comes and goes and not a peep from anyone. They also insisted that my mother be there for the inspection since the house is in her name. I assured them that I was the decision maker and that she lived over an hour away. They said she had to be there. I said ok. Thankfully, mom didn't waste her time coming because they never showed up. I am sure there are plenty of other outfits out there that don't have to go door to door to get new customers because their work speaks for itself. I continue to have water basement issues despite contracting Everdry for a complete trench and seal job etc as well as getting convinced I needed 2 easy breath systems installed that are basically air circulate that have not made any improvements in my basement, crawl spaces, and most definitely not on any other floors of my house as promised! After more than 15k I continue to book warranty service appointments for leaks. it can take them months to come stating they are short staffed etc. However, I get calls from their marketing office offering someone to come to my home in matter of a day or so to give me a free estimate. They still don't know I'm an existing customer!! Last visit I was told they are not responsible for water in my basement due to the water coming in from an above exterior flashing. They recommended me contact a "patio" person for needed flashing repairs and a contractor of some sort to replace my baseboards and molding that they tore out trying to find the problem. My next appointment is scheduled for November, yes 3 months from now while I still have water intrusion in my basement around a pipe they're "repaired " numerous times with no luck. instead of paying thousands of dollars to fix a problem Everdry can't, go to Lowe's and buy a 30 dollar can of flex seal. That's what I ended up doing to stop water from coming in around my flashing. If only Everdry had those materials and skills. STAY AWAY!! And please don't fall for their easy breath sales pitch. 2500.00 each will be the most expensive fan you will ever buy!!! read more

Several years ago I paid over $3,000 for Everdry to stop water from coming into my basement workshop. Since I don't go into that room, I didn't really check to see if water had stopped coming in when it rained. They caulked & put in a "French drain" along the side wall. When I saw that water was flooding half of that room, I called them to redo the job. I was told that since I didn't pay a yearly warranty fee, that they didn't have to come out. They finally agreed to replace the French drain but in doing so, it still hasn't fixed the problem. I checked the French drain installation & find it's not done right. Water can't get to the pipe. They didn't put in any large gravel & didn't use non-woven fabric to keep dirt out. Also there's a lot of red clay dirt on top of that area. So water runs into my basement before it can get to the pipe. When I called again, they told me I needed to pay thousands of dollars more for them to put in another type drain. They said it's not unusual for it to run $25,000 to fix my water problem. They are endorsed by TrustDale.com but don't believe it. They are not a good company to use for waterproofing. read more

2 representatives where going door to door in my Buckhead neighborhood offering "free inspection" of crawlspace or basement. My crawlspace was not leaking, but I had not had a formal inspection done before. A few weeks later I call Everdry and spoke to Aaron. Aaron asked alot of questions and advised my spouse must be present for the "free inspection". Wait what? This seems to be a big policy with them. They seem to be more of a sales company than a waterproofing company. I actually elected to not have my wife present and they advised they had to charge me $100 for the inspection. Fine. Weird policy. They paid inspection included lots of pictures. They gave me the pictures, but I am told if you get the free inspection, they will not give you the photos, but only let you view them. The inspection pictures where good, but I did not feel like the inspector was genuine in his assessments of the severity. He madd it sound like my house was going to fall down if I did not do something quick. Everdry is incredibly overpriced. I don't mean a little bit. They have these sales layers, and will quote you vey high. Later they will call to offer you a lower price. Even there lower price is way over charged. Very poor customer service :(. I also didn't even get a quote. I was scheduled twice and each time after taking off work early, rearranging my schedule and fighting through traffic to get across town to make sure I was on time and ready to great the technician , I received a call 10 minutes before the time they are supposed to be at my property with what seemed to be made up excuses why they needed to reschedule. These people are liars and extremely unprofessional. They scheduled me for an estimate two weeks in advance. I told them I am under contract for buying the home and haven't closed on the house yet. The representative said that was fine as long as we are there and have permission from the sellers. I got a call today saying the current home owners had to be there and if they didn't come I would have to pay $250 for a FREE estimate. I called and asked for a manager and Marie said one wasn't available but would call me back and they never did. read more

Do not pay for the service before they start! I made the mistake of getting financing for the service long before they started, then they rescheduled three times, didn't put the sump pump where we agreed, left quickrete (yes, their magic "special" self-leveling concrete is Quickrete, I saw the bags) all over my yard, left my basement in a layer of concrete dust 1/2-inch thick ("not our problem"), and left my water running when they left (from mixing the concrete). They were supposed to come back and "etch and seal" the quickrete after a month, so it's been 2 years, no sign of them. Oh, and make sure you pay them $75 a year to keep up the 'warranty'. read more

I made the mistake of letting everdry seal my basement. 1st off the sales man is full of lies told me the 75 dollar a year fee was optional only to find out that was a lie. The crew who repaired my basement made a few copper pipes vanish as well as my gutter drain pipes. I have had to have them out several times to patch their shotty work. So any plans on finishing the basement has been put on hold. read more

I can't speak to their work as they did not perform any. They came in my house and started an inspection and showed me where the previous owners had already done work and Everdry said everything was working as it should be. They said I should consult a structural engineer and then recommended a company that they use for piering. Work was scheduled so I took off my job to be there. They blew me off two days in a row calling me around 5pm to say that they weren't going to make it. Then on the 3rd day (now it's the weekend) showed up, worked 3 hours then left. The next day they came and worked 5 hours and left. It's been a month and their system hasnt worked well enough to keep the water out. They took 2 weeks to come out, (another day off of work without pay)then a guy came looked around and left. The next day a guy came an hour late worked 3 hours and left. Just plain crappy workmanship, and hell to get warranty service. read more

When your salesman comes to the door and I tell him I an not interested, I would expect him to leave, nope he had to argue with me telling me he sees I have a crawl space, I then again tell him no thank you and again he argues, "but...". again no thank you. Avoid !! Sent a truly sleezy salesman who wouldnt let us look at other quotes, wanted an answer right then. Later that week, Everdry ran an ad in a local flyer offering a $500 discount. Sleezy sales guy refused to honor it (claimed he already waived a $500 fee to put us on a cancellation list). Its bull to charge for the cancellation list.. letting them come earlier is an advantage to them (otherwise their crews arent working). Finally got the owner to send the rebate. Original work was shoddy and wasnt fixed until I complained again. They claim they guarantee their work, but you have to pay every year for the warranty. Lastly, we used their financing... found out that its not simple financing, they put a lien on the property and its treated like a second mortgage. read more

They stood my wife and I up twice for an estimate. We scheduled a time to meet for an estimate. They required my wife to be home for some unknown reason. They stood us up the first time after both my wife and I had to leave work early for the appointment. I had to call their office to find out if someone was still coming 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. After much apology from the person on the phone I reluctantly rescheduled. They again stood us up on the second scheduled appointment. I will not be rescheduling a third time. They do not keep their word. Their policy requiring my wife to be home leads me to believe they may try to use scare tactics to get business (now I'll never know.) They are unprofessional and my experience proves they consistently do not keep their word. I reported this to the Better Business Bureau. They may not post the complaint online since I was not an actual customer. Because of this I would be suspicious of their BBB rating and check out other review sites (such as yelp). read more

We have been so unhappy with Everdry Waterproofing of Atlanta. They did a horrible job installing a system in our house, ruining our flooring and putting unnecessary holes in our walls. Most of the people who came out were very inexperienced. We finally had to report them to the Better Business Bureau to get them to address our concerns. Now we have to pay them $75 a year to keep the warranty effective but they will never come out for a service check and won't return our calls. Stay away and beware! I scheduled an estimate and they insisted that my husband had to be there. I told them he does not, as we have had other estimates and I am quite capable. They agreed, but called me the day before the appointment to tell me my husband had to be there. I told them he would not and that we could not wait. The person was super rude and said fine and hung up. They called back at 7pm to tell me no one could come and that they could reschedule to Saturday - when my husband would be home. What?!?! Clearly they plan to put us in a high pressure sales situation. I told them my husband and I are separated and that I do not want him here and they asked about the details on the deed to my house and if there was anyone on the deed not there at the appointment they would not complete the 'free' estimate. I had a musty odor in the house and sagging floors so I had EverDry come out and look around my crawl space. Their representative Dennis Davis came out and took pictures of the crawl space, showing me the mold and mildew growing there. I agreed to have the EverDry system along with a vapor barrier installed and they were also going to install several jacks to help the sagging floor. They sent a subcontractor to my home by the name of Frank Echols. He arrived with a team of workers and did what I assumed was what we agreed upon. I just recently found out that they did nothing other than install the E-Z Breathe. They did not install the jacks to help the sagging, they did not clean out the wet insulation, clear the mold and mildew from the wood under my house or install a vapor barrier they simply put black plastic over the uneven dirt and debris. My crawl space is still in the same condition with mold, mildew and my floors still sag. So I have to have the work they did not do done by a reputable company. I am getting estimates now. Please do not trust them and do not allow Mr. Echols any where near your home. read more

Everdry was engaged during the due diligence of my home inspection to assess a water intrusion issue in the basement of the house I was under contract to buy in August 2012. They were initially very responsive to come out and assess the situation (dry wall was fully removed for them to investigate the source of the water). After looking at the situation they recommended proceeding with a simple masonry seal that could be done by a handyman or even DIY. The simple masonry seal was completed by the seller's handyman. After the purchase of the home, the water intrusion issue did not stop. I had Everdry come back out to take another look at the situation at which time they diagnosed it as a finger space issue that needed to be sealed. The Everdry representative said he would speak to his production manager regarding the work and would call me back with a specific scope of work and estimate to have it completed. That call never came. After leaving 15+ messages with the Everdy office asking for a follow-up for my estimate they never returned my call. I have since had 2 other waterproofing companies come out to take a look at my situation without me leading them to the Everdry diagnosis and both of them were able to correctly diagnose the issue OVER THE PHONE. Cost of repair will range between $5k and $7k. Havent gotten the repair work done hoping that maybe this will get Everdry to FINALLY call me back. This expense could have been avoided if it had been properly diagnosed the first time. While I understand mistake can happen, I found it very unprofessional for no one to call me back with the scope of work and expected expense as promised. Last name is Morgan located in Roswell. It was the worst experience, I ever had with any service. The first crew, that came to rebuild the wall in crawl space, tried to do 8'only instead of 23' per contract. I spent 1 day of my PTO and the 3 hrs on the phone to get whole job to be done. This part was finished 4 days later. The second person, that came to install E-Z Breathe, tried to install it just under my Master bedroom, because it was close to outlet, even per contract it should be installed in opposite corner. I spent three more hrs on the phone to get this device to be installed in the correct place. This "electrician" installed two peaces of extended cord, very loose, instead of one. I took one more month and 3 attempts to reinstall this cord in correct way. The third crew, that did most of installation, tried to find any possible shortcut: tranches 6" deep instead of 18" with pipe, and 12" deep instead of 36" without pipe; plastic barrier was installed in separate places, not the whole length, sometimes without mastic; drainage pipes were not connected with snap tees; drainage pipes in some places were installed even above ground level and covered by hip of soil; drainage pipes in some places were covered just by soil, not by gravel; inside crawl space the left all excessive soil and debris, and just covered it by plastic; some surface was not covered by plastic at all. The fourth crew, that came to fix it, put the extended cord in correct place, but destroyed entry door to the crawl space. The fifth crew finally fixed all these mess. There's one only office phone number, and they just collected complains. sometimes I never hot response at all. The management is very rude. all their response was: "We spent our money, we want you to pay, we have lifetime warranty, we will fix all this stuff in a future". Only after my complain to BBB the started to do something. It took two month after original job was done, and one month after claiming to BBB, to fix all the'r mess. I spent more, than week of my PTO for supervising their job and for multiple meetings with all kinds of managers, but they have no wishes to reimburse it. Their response: "We did not hire you to be a supervisor". Overall, I do not recommend this company to anybody. read more

Contracted Everydry of Atlanta they were soliciting the area. I was 1st told that the entire crawl space needed a drainage system and sump pump put in for $25,000.00. This is a dry crawl space, when I asked why was told, well it may not stay dry in the future. The house is 20 years old if there has not been water until now why would there be in the future. I told them I only wanted the crack fixed and sealed. After signing the contract and giving them 1/2 down, It took 5 calls to get this scheduled. 1st scheduled appointment they did not show up. I was told the job was not on the schedule. 2nd appointment the service was terrible. The installer was only going to apply the stable wall and not fix the crack that was in the contract. When I asked why he got indignant and told me he was not going to fix any cracks it was not his job, and to call the office and proceeded to pack up and leave. I called the office and there was no one there that could help fix the issue. I was told to call back on Monday. read more
