I'm not from the area so I wanted to try the sweet tea the two older females at the register was very rude, one of them told me I had to pay in order to taste the tea which I said that's fine and I proceed to purchase the drink and I left and sipped the drink and it gave me a a metal after taste like the container was not properly clean. So I returned the drink and asked if I could replace it and the other lady walks up and says "how do you walk in a place and ask .. " i said I didn't like it so I would like something different I didn't like the taste She grabbed the cup and squeezed it and got tea over my hand slam the drink out the cup and chug a cup full of ice in my cup and as I ignored their ignorance I told them to have a good day and the lady that snatched the cup out my hand continued to speak under her breath as I walked out I spent 3.06 for a drink that was no good I deserve a new drink I spent my money for a good product and if you don't produce that then don't sell it.

The first thing you notice when stepping into Everest Grill on Highway 16 in Denver, North Carolina, is the exceptional cleanliness, which is further reinforced by the 100 health score proudly displayed on the wall. The restaurant has a diner-style setup where you order at the counter, and the friendly staff brings your food to the table. The menu offers a wide variety of great choices, and I settled on the gyro plate. The front staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. My meal included a Greek side salad, which was super fresh and flavorful. The gyro itself was soft and pillowy, and the tzatziki sauce tasted homemade--definitely a dish I would recommend.

One and Done wanted something fresh typically Greek is ALWAYS fresh I ordered the salad with chicken. The lettuce was wilted and the cucumbers looked as if the made the salad the day before well and just put chicken on it and what kind of Greek restaurant doesn't have hummus or and did I mention the serve it with crackers you've got to be kidding me.

Picture of the burger she ordered. Hardly any chili and it was dry like just cooked hamburger.

DON''T EAT HERE,, My wife and I have been going to this establishment for many years and always had good food and service. The last time we visited, my wife ordered the hamburger with coleslaw and chili on it and it was not good at all. She just chalked it up as them having a bad day. We revisited Them today and she ordered the same hamburger hoping it was gonna be different. The hamburger was totally dry as well as the chili. Had no flavor and so this time we brought it to the owners attention. The owner asked her if it was so bad why did she order it again and she explained that she thought the last time they were just having a bad day. The owner was very rude and never even apologized or tried to make it right. Was very arrogant. My wife stated that we were going to write a review and she said go ahead. You're not the first and walked away. We will never visit this establishment again if this is how they treat their customers.

I had a quick need for quick shrimp and perch. Tarter sauce is good. Cocktail sauce needs horseradish. Met my need.

    With Grilled Onions.

We have eaten here for years. Today they were very rude and condescending. My wife and I ordered hamburger steak with grilled onions. This is what the menu said. We received mushy boiled onions, pure mush. I mentioned to one of them that the food was great but that the onions appeared boiled. She snapped back at me that yes they are boiled and that's exactly how they are supposed to be. Then a smart "thanks for letting me know and if you want the grilled just tell us ". The menu says grilled but you get mushy boiled which you wouldn't be expecting. Anyway we looked at the menu again on the way out, it says grilled onions. I called once I confirmed this, I didn't appreciate how we were talked to. Again, I was told that the onions come boiled although the menu says grilled and that they "were not going to change their menu after 20 years because someone didn't like it" , although it is false advertising. Then she hung up on me. Also my wife picked up some sweet and low from a table for her tea, one of the ladies yelled across the store , to my wife, " there are condiments on every table " totally unnecessary comment and was meant to be critical. Don't know what's going on, everything in there looked mad. Won't go back.

This lamb gyro is probably the best I've had!

Decent Greek gyro and burger joint. The gyro platter came with the typical gyro meat, and lots of it. Very generous portion of meat. The Greek dressing was good. My fries and meat weren't that warm. You order and pay up front at the register and they deliver the food. Overall a solid Greek fast food style place at a decent price for what you get. Burgers are nothing to get excited about. I'm taking away two stars since there is nothing amazing here, but not much to complain about either other than food temperature.

The pita was really good (better than Showmars), the lady at the counter was very nice and the order was ready in about 5-7 minutes.

It's located inside a 55-and-up community,…read moreso you do have to drive through a small guard check to get there, but that was no big deal. I will say, my wife and I were definitely the youngest diners in the restaurant. Overall, it was a very lovely experience, and we will 100% be back. The only slight negative was that we found the hostess to be a little unfriendly. We arrived at 4:30 without a reservation, and at that time there were only about four tables with diners. She asked us how long it was going to take us to eat because they had reservations at 6:00. I thought that was an odd question to ask, because how fast we eat really depends more on how quickly the meal is served than anything else. Other than that, everything was great. The ceilings are high, the atmosphere is airy and bright, the windows are tall, and the whole space felt clean, fresh, and modern. My wife enjoyed their sweet tea, and we started with the whipped ricotta dip, which was absolutely out of this world. My wife ordered the steak frites, which she thoroughly enjoyed, and I had the fish and chips, which were perfectly cooked. Our server told us it was her first day, but she did an excellent job and was very friendly. We will absolutely be back to try more items from the menu. And as it turned out, the hostess had nothing to worry about--we were in and out in an hour. To those about to nosh, we salute you!

All of it was delicious. For dinner there were 3 orders of the pot roast ( I know we all should have ordered different things), 2 orders of the southwest bowl, and I had the special which was smoked salmon with fettuccini. I can't say enough about how good the food was and the portions were generous. Even the kids pizza that my grandson had was big enough for an adult. I highly recommend this place! And our server was also great!

Also, our food was ready for pick-up early! Many patrons come to Sports Page for their chicken tenders. They are good, but are getting smaller and smaller. I got the side salad and fries with my tenders. Their fries are pretty good (not too greasy) and give you a lot of them, while their salad is fresh but ranch is a bit runny. They are consistent with the quality of their food and service, which is a good thing. I can promise you that every time you go to Sports Page that you will always have good customer service with pretty swell food. If you prioritize a clean and maintained restaurant over proximity, you should come to this location instead of Coulwood. Great job Sports Page!

The third time I tried I think it was called the breakfast burger which was I would say 7/10. I was going to try again today until I looked at the specials and realized that these specials are not specials at all. These are extremely overpriced. This is before taxes tip or anything and you're telling me that the steak you're making for me is three times the value of what I can get in the store. That is absolutely insane. I'll never go back here.

They may have been, I don't know the owners. ( unlike every other ass..) We had our puppy ( she is an ass) so we sat outside and the woman behind the bar kept coming out to make sure we were taken care of. The food was well seasoned, well cooked, and the food we took to go was cooked perfectly! My only complaint is the sweet potato fries that we ate as an appetizer were under cooked. I know, I'm just being picky to make this a balanced review. Plus the cherry cider was so good my wife had to drive us home. Well done!!! 5 stars. We will be back!

Two things were recommended the western burger or something and the mushroom Swiss. Being a mushroom Swiss fan I opted for it. The combo with two sides and the burger was like almost $14 and though I thought it included a drink it did not and my bill came to like $18.40 after tax or something. Real talk the fries were warm but not hot or fresh, the onion rings were very over cooked in my opinion (no onion at all the entire thing was crispy) and the burger was so so definitely not best in Denver as claimed. Overall I'm kind of disappointed to spend almost $20 before tip for this meal.
