For drinks, we had an apple cider mimosa and a Hawaiian sunrise mimosa. Everything was delicious! I was initially unsure about the portion size of the smoked sausages since they're cut up, but it ended up being just right. The breakfast potatoes were crispy -- you honestly don't even need ketchup. The mimosas were strong too, so you'll definitely get your money's worth. One other table in the restaurant at about 7:30ish, enough said to why people don't want to waste their money and time eating at this company. This is a rural town , NOT MANHATTAN. Second day open and a favorite already. We've been going to Toast (Famous Toastery) since they first opened in Huntersville back in the 2000's. Followed them to their second location in Davidson and have tried probably about 10 of these as they have opened over the years. One of the owners told me that there were now 27 locations and just a tip to other users, a new location is opening in Blowing Rock next week. Most of their promo has been on Facebook which is where I saw them but now adding to yelp as well. Did not really take reservations but asked for a preference of Sat or Sun in a time slots of 9 am to 2 pm. We chose the Sunday time slot and got there just after 11am planning on catching the lunch menu. Susan does not like Breakfast but really one of my favorite meals. Checked in at the desk and it was a bit confusing but the staff seated us almost immediately. Our hostess escorted us to our seats and gave us our menu's and place setting. Server was there shortly to take our beverage order and get that part started. She was back shortly with our beverages (Water for Susan and Black Coffee for me) Susan ordered a Spinach, Bacon and Bleu Wrap while I went with my favorite Left Coast BLT. Came out in a few and they were delicious. One thing about Famous Toastery and while you have a server, all servers cover for each other in case one get busy. You can be assured if you want a coffee refill if it even begins to get a little low. We were asked on three occasions if we had been waited on yet which is infinitely better than not being waited on at all. Owner came by and introduced himself but he was very familiar to us as were we to him. We had chatted on several others visits when we ran into each other at one of the restaurants. As part of the Soft Opening, all proceeds are going to Shining Hope Farms which is a non-profit enabling children and adults with disability to equine related activities. Formal note is that the Grand Opening is tomorrow August 10, 2020 at 7:00 am. From my experience today, the staff is well trained and the food is excellent in keeping with the other Famous Toastery Locations we have dined at. Addendum: I spoke too soon. Came back the following Saturday our Server went MIA and whenever she was there, you had to repeat yourself at least three times on each item. read more

I don't love leaving bad reviews, but I can't wrap my mind around the fact that I just paid $63.00 for a mediocre breakfast for myself, my husband, and two kids, especially given the fact that neither my meal nor my husband's meal were prepared correctly. My scrambled eggs came out without cheese...ok. Not a big deal. I said I would eat them, just take off the $1.50 for cheese please. Nope. Server grabbed the plate and after 20 minutes and finishing the rest of my food, I politely said, "It's ok. I don't want my eggs now." And the server panicked and asked me if I'd like them to go. The Denver unit of the Famous Toastery chain does not seem as buttoned up as others we have visited. On our first visit, my egg dish was fine, but my wife's pancakes were a touch undercooked. On our recent second try-as with the first- service was a bit slow, which I find odd in a room with only a few COVID limited tables in play. The bigger problem on the second visit is that both of our dishes were only slightly lukewarm when delivered to the table. This was bad enough for my omelet but quite unpleasant for my wife's cold French toast. In all fairness, the omelet was otherwise quite tasty, and the unit manager was completely on top of customer service and quickly and cheerfully replaced the cold French toast. So a mixed bag...I like the interest of the menu and the food-when properly delivered-is pretty good, but there is some tightening up of service gaffs needed. read more

I was near the Denver location and was excited because of the food and service I had been experiencing in the past. I got biscuits and gravy, 2 scrambled eggs, coffee and a crepe. One of the reasons I love Mooresville on Saturday. I have usually get 2 eggs, breakfast potatoes and toast with coffee and crepes. Usually $13-$15 dollars. Today was almost $30!!! I asked to double check but the cashier said it was correct. FYI the biscuits and gravy was awful. I took 3-4 bites. I enjoyed the food. I was told they were expensive unfortunately everything is expensive now a days. The only issue I had was the price of the iced tea.$3.50 for a glass of iced tea is ridiculous. I get the price of eggs and meat going up but iced tea. I'm betting it cost them about .25 or .50 cents a glass to make brewed tea. Famous toastery of Denver from the day it opened has won my heart with good food , I get the same order practically every time I go with occasionally changing it , when eating in the restaurant the severs are very attentive and great! But the amount of times my order has been incorrect recently is annoying, the FOUR separate times I have ordered the same exact order each time my eggs have not been cooked correctly or completely and the side that comes with the Rueben is incorrect or the changes to the sandwich itself are completely wrong , I do not leave reviews like this generally but I ordered famous toastery today two eggs scrambled hard with bacon toast and grits upon opening the order everything looked perfect and I was happy to enjoy my food , I begin eating the eggs and I soon realized my scrambled eggs have Onions in them I gag because I had just bitten into a onion upon further inspection I see three more onion pieces, I understand with the way a kitchen works that it's possible it could have easily gotten cross contaminated with other food being made but this is irritating given that I continue to get incorrect or inedible food when placing a Togo and I am continuing to pay for incorrect food. My love for famous toastery is dwindling because of this , but again as I stated other than the food everything at this establishment is almost perfect. Visited this location for the first time today. There were 3 of us for breakfast and it was fairly empty when we arrived. Two of us ordered omelets and the other person ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of breakfast potatoes. The omelets were very good but our friend's eggs were ordered over medium and arrived very runny. If you order toast you only get one slice of bread instead of the usual two at most breaksfast places. The prices are a bit higher than the other local breakfast places, our friend felt $3.50 for a small side of potatoes was a bit high. The service was excellent, in fact, maybe too excellent. There was so much staff they were tripping over one another! We tried many times to have a conversation with our friend but finally gave up because the constant interruptions by staff made it impossible. If you took one drink from your cup someone came over wanting to refill your cup! Definitely service overkill which we felt was because it was newly opened and they're trying hard to impress. We'll definitely go back but will probably wait a while until the excitement dies down and the staff starts meshing better. read more

My second time going and food was very good however being a Saturday it was very busy and the staff just didn't seem to have a good handle on things. Waited forever for our meal and there were only three of us. Ordered Pancakes and got French Toast just kept it because already had been waiting so long. My Wife Had to flag down server for refills. Only highlight was another server named Kimberly who saw we were not happy came and asked if she could help gets drinks and apologized for the craziness and lack attention we were getting from others around us. She even took time to talk to my 4 year daughter about a toy she was playing with and asked her name. After what I thought would possibly be my last time coming here my daughter now calls this is her new favorite place to eat. I have literally been waiting and waiting for this location to open. I am a huge fan of this restaurant and so excited they opened this Denver location. I have been once every weekend since the opening and have yet to be disappointed. The staff is so accommodating, the location is convenient and clean and the hardest part about coming is deciding what to order. The mimosas are the best I've yet to have. Since the opening of this new location the owner has been present each time I've come and oversees everything and visits each table to ensure the experience is great. In summary?
