I saw a food truck on highway 73 with picnic benches and a long line of Hispanic workers waiting to buy lunch. A really good sign for good food at a great price. I stopped by later in the day to buy some food to take home. Got the street tacos, chicken, carne asada, lingua and tamales. The tamales come wrapped in banana leaves like they do in Southern Mexico. They were just like eating in Coatzacalcos. What makes everything that is already great to fabulous is the sauces. The red sauce is hot above jalapeno but below habanero. It is full of flavor but be ready for heat The owner runs the Mexican grocery and the truck, so if you get there and don't see a someone in the truck, pop your head in the grocery front door and someone will come out to make the food fresh. Go get some real Mexican food, not the bland stuff found in our Mexican restaurants in Denvet. Hours are 9 am to 9 pm.

You walk up to the counter and place your order, we were the only ones there at the time so ordering was fairly quick. The young lady that took our order was polite and patient with us while we decided what we were going to order. I ordered the steak cheesesteak Dave's way with no onions, and added mayo, lettuce and tomatoe. They have a few items listed for dessert, but we were told that they were out of the banana pudding at the time. Our food was cooked to order and was piping hot when we received it. They placed my lettuce and tomatoes in a separate container which I'm grateful they did, because the lettuce was old and had a brownish tint to it. The cheesesteak was cheesy and really good. As I was eating I just noticed how dirty the place seemed. Although the staff were nice on their downtime every one was on their phone. I think they could have used that time to clean off the sticky tables, swept and mopped the floor etc. Everything just looked a bit dirty. Service was decent and fast, the food was freshly prepared and tasted great. Sanitation was a 96, not great but not bad either. If they could clean this place up and keep up with it, I could see myself coming back more often. Happy my bestie brought me by to give it a try!
