I was shocked to seem so low reviews, but definitely not my experience at all. Cute spot in a plaza area. Clean spot, and clean bathrooms. We went for lunch, seated right away, we decided sit at the bar. Great service was provided. I think a manager came out was kind of sitting at the end of the bar, he too was so friendly. And lucky he did because we didn't know about there dessert area. It was out of view, but yes make sure you walk back there and see all the delicious dessert, made all in house homemade. Nice drinks selection and very nice selection on the bar from bourbons to tequilas and everything in between. Now, hear me on this, I THINK I found some of the best pizza in Charlotte!!!!! The restaurant outside of the actually city, but you know what I mean That saying a lot being from Buffalo. But man, their Hawaiian heat wave pizza. Just had pepperoni, pineapple and drizzled with hot honey. Look before you say ick pineapple don't belong on pizza, please just try this one first. There sauce incredibly good and the crust was cooked to perfection. Absolutely loved this pizza. We got wings, a burger and blackened chicken panini as well. No complaints on the food. Everything we had was really good. If I lived in Charlotte I'd be here once a week for the pizza alone. Maybe they will see this and offer shipping hahaha.. I had to remove my previous review because cooler heads prevail and I don't trust a soul! Will quickly jump to conclusions. I don't know what happened last time or if it was intentional or unintentional, but I will give the benefit of the doubt and just tell you about the food. Chicken Parm: 8.8. Pasta not always hot but that's okay. Portion size average. Solid meal. Could use some bread and butter. Pizza: 8.7. Strong. If we're rating on a bar pizza scale, it's higher. Sauce is solid and crust is very good (made in-house). Meatballs: 7.4. Seem a little undercooked to me. Had it twice. Chicken Wings: 9.5. Really freaking good. The celery and carrots with it didn't seem overly fresh though. I was really starting to enjoy this place. It's clean and people are usually friendly but other than the bartender, the staff was cold as ice last time. And two weird things happened that I have decided not to include. I've been here before but after last night, I don't think I'll be going back. We ordered two of the house favorites. The mozzarella bites were cold. They brought us some fresh ones but they were over cooked and the cheese had oozed out of several of them. I had the Blackened Chicken Panini which was horrible. I took only one bite and was done with it. My son and his wife had the Penne à la vodka and it too was pretty bad. The cheese pizza was the only decent thing we had. We hardly ate anything. The waiter was nice but he should only have charged us for the pizza and my wife's wine as we barely ate anything. I don't understand all the five star reviews. It seems people out here aren't familiar with good food. Or maybe it was just a bad night for the chef. read more

The reason it's three stars is because the burgers were not good at all, meat was dry, bread fell apart too easy, etc. There was four or five of us that ordered the same thing, three were strangers to us and we all had the same feeling unfortunately. My wife and I tried this restaurant several weeks ago and it does show some promise although my lunch was not what I expected. That however is my fault due to false expectations on my part. It's a very nice restaurant. Well, apportioned with a nice clean inviting atmosphere. While we were seated in the main dining area, we were directly in front of a very nicely stocked bar area. My wife started with an Espresso Martini, and I stuck with my Unsweetened Tea with Lemon. My wife ordered the Blacken Chicken Panini with a side of Fries. Panini in addition to the Chicken, had Mozzarella Cheese, Roast Red Peppers, Caramelize Onions and Chili Pepper Aioli on Focaccia. She really enjoyed her sandwich. I ordered the Italian BLT since I love a classic BLT. Came with Prosciutto, Salami, Pepperoni, Provolone, Tomatoes, Greens, Banana Pepper and Garlic Aioli again on Focaccia. Needless to say, it was nowhere close to the American BLT that I was expecting with the smoky and Salty taste of bacon. Not to say the sandwich was not good because it was but not what I expected or what I wanted. My fault but next time I 'll know better. If I had paid attention to the description of the sandwich, it should have not come as a surprise. At first, I thought the prices were a bit high but when the sandwiches came out and each one almost covered a whole plate, I realized that there was going to be more there that we could eat in one setting. Therefor it became two meals for whenever we wanted the second half. Will be back soon to try again and will think about the menu more to develop a flavor profile in my mind. read more

Fun sports bar! Highly recommend the wings and the Parmesan fries. Both were delicious and better than your average bar. The menu is awesome and I like the little quirky comments throughout. It just adds to the charm. I really don't have anything negative to say. The pasta was good. We recently moved back to the area of LKN and were looking for a place to eat on Friday night. Surprised to see this place pop up with a 10pm closing, so we opted to head over. Outside seating was pretty steady, with the inside only about 5-6 tables occupied. We were immediately greeted and seated, and then our server came over. She suggested their limited summer menu if we were in the mood, so I decided on the fried chicken sandwich while my wife had their burger. All I have to say is that the chicken sandwich was probably one of the best ones I have ever had. The chicken was huge and absolutely perfect. Lightly fried, pickles, and toppings. It was just what I wanted. The parmesan fries were perfect as well. We both left and were completely satisfied with the entire experience. Which led is into Saturday. We were left craving some of the menu selections we saw from the previous night, so we decided to head back over. As soon as I pulled around the corner I saw the parking lot was absolutely packed! I guess it was live band night, so we decided to go elsewhere. That didn't last long because we both knew what we wanted. So I called and to my surprise they had no wait and open seating. I never whipped a u-turn so fast in my life. We found parking and walked right in and were seated in their back room which was perfect. We could still hear the band but also hear each other, couldn't have asked for a better scenario. I opted to get the Asiago Chicken Pasta and my wife got the Chicken Marsala. The meal came pretty quick considering it was a full house. When I tell you this was one of the most filling and perfect pasta dishes I have ever had. We both left with to-go boxes, which didn't last long since we ate it within 30 minutes of getting home. I must say everything from the greeting, the attentiveness of the servers, the quickness and the quality of the food, it was absolutely perfect. Since we travel back and forth between residences in South FL and LKN, we will certainly be back the next time we are up there. The first time I came here on a Thursday night it was packed with customers and my meal was very good. The server was a little scattered and distracted. So I gave her a pass because they've only been open a little over a month. Now, just 2 weeks later I came on a Sunday evening and some of my meal was not as good. I tried to call in my order. Their phone kept hanging up on me. The restaurant ended up calling my number back and attempted to transfer me to the call-in number. Again, the line disconnected. So I placed my order online. I received a text in 15 minutes that my order was ready. The hostess convinced me to get a slice of cake, so I got it as I picked up the food. When I got home, the slice of cake was SO hard that the frosting came off the entire slice of cake!! It was pretty but when I put a fork in that slice of cake, the frosting crumbled like a cracker. I tasted the cake and it was dry like a biscuit. No moisture at all. It was hard and stale. So I moved on to my salad. The salad was good but the croutons were stale as well. No crunch. They were chewy. The dough from the sandwich's bread was a little undercooked. The chicken inside was flavorful though. I'm so disappointed. I spent $35 on this meal and it wasn't worth $10. There's no excuse. There were no customers inside. I was the only person inside. So they weren't busy. Stale cake, doughy bread and chewy croutons. Unacceptable. I have them 2 chances. I won't give a third. Sorry. I value my money more than the convenient location. read more

You always have to take points off for takeout, but this is the best pizza we get, so I imagine it would be even better eating in. We have tried 2 or more different ones and all have been very good. Tried this new place for the first time tonight as it was recommended by a friend. I ordered take out. A medium topping pizza, a medium Cheese pizza and a wing appetizer. Total came to 60.00 Pizza's were good but a little overpriced. The hot wings were dry (no sauce) I assumed they would be a buffalo type sauce since they offered a mild and a hot flavor. Maybe they forgot the sauce but there was no spice to them. The meat quality was point on though. The restaurant looked fresh, clean and inviting and I was greeted promptly.
