Full of flavor and smooth. Sweeter than other places. Chicken Mango - 5/5. Unique take on mango chicken. Lightly fried chicken cubes but not breaded. Very good texture and amazing mango sauce. Bullet naan with garlic - 5/5. Just a little thicker than other naans I've had and the chiles and garlic are on top but also kinda stuffed/ layered in the naan. Palak Chaat- 4/5. Very good but very saucy and maybe too fried. I live in Hagerstown and it was recommended by a friend. I will definitely make the drive here 45 minutes on occasion. It's one of the best around. I had the most amazing goat biryani I have ever had at Everest. I got it Indian spicy and it was the perfect amount of spice in my opinion. The goat pieces were tender and delicious! I will be back! Service was quick and parking is very easy. read more

The water tasted like it right out of the Ganges. Got the "fries" appetizer. It was 10, frozen krinkle cut fries with some butter sauce on top, no "toppings" as advertised. Both dishes we ordered were mostly sauce without much veg or meat. The sauces tasted like they left their grandmother and her spices back in India. We always enjoy our meals. The papadums were some of the best we've had--fresh, crisp, and the perfect way to start the meal. The appetizers were excellent, and the vegetarian dishes were absolutely delicious. If you're looking for flavorful vegetarian Indian cuisine, this is a great place to visit. And, of course, no Indian meal is complete without an Indian beer. It paired perfectly with the food and made for a great dining experience. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I think the dipping sauces served with the appetizers could use an upgrade. The appetizers themselves were excellent, but a more flavorful or sauce would really elevate them. Overall, the food was fresh, the service was friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I fancied Indian cuisine and found the Everest restaurant via a Google search. The place is easily accessible from I-81 on which i was driving north. There is ample parking on 2 sides. Upon my majestic entrance, I was essentially ignored by and androgynous-appearing server who was waiting upon a table of 4, the only diners there. After about a minute, the server, who spoke so quietly that speech was essentially imperceptible, pointed to a table and I perched myself into a seated position. My order was taken and within about 10 minutes, my meal arrived. My vegetable curry with garlic Naan bread was quite good, although my iced chai remained warm despite the ice cubes. The portions of rice and curry were generous, even for this big eater, thus I had no space in my stomach for dessert, and I didn't want to feel excessively satiated for the remainder of my drive. I did observe that there was quite a bit take out business. Also, they did play was sounds to have been contemporary Indian music which enhanced my dining experience. I would not have enjoyed hearing punk rock or Nancy Sinatra ( there's a story there!) whilst enjoying my meal. The bottom line is that I give this a 4 star, but possibly would have rated as a 5 with a more welcoming server/greeter and cold iced chai. read more

After my recent 3rd visit I have to leave a review. I took my mother here for mothers day. She is not familiar with indian food but she is branching out lately. This place is incredible. A clean and lovely dining area, A lovely and knowledgable waitress/hostess. The entire atmosphere is perfect with indian music playing lightly, Great flatware and dining area with the permeated smells of quality food. Naan was perfect. Roti was better than mine. Chicken Curry was better than mine. Biryani is the best I have ever had. (Goat and chicken, im going lamb next) Saag is perfect. Butter chicken is more tomato based than some might be used to but its incredible. Go there. Take your lady. Take your man. Dont take the kids tho, cuz im probably there. I also ordered the Masala Chai and it's perfect if you're looking for a drink that's tasty but not too sweet. The man I spoke to, who claimed to be the manager, was very rude and unprofessional. I asked for a booth, but he refused despite there being eight others available. Ordered through Uber Eats. The food was delicious but the Uber Eats experience was horrible. Uber picked my food up and then went into a delay in my delivery. They instructed the driver to pickup another order at a different restaurant and deliver it while my order was sitting in the driver's car getting cold. I love Everest but will never user Uber eats again. A 20 minute delivery took almost an hour. Unacceptable. read more

Look Winchester is hardly world renowned for its worldly culinary diversity so when my friend and I were looking for anything closer to Berryville side of Winchester and found Everest we were like it will probably be meh at best but it's close. Had great meal here recently. I ordered the chicken mango and my girlfriend ordered the chicken tikka masala. We also had the masala fries and garlic naan and both entrees included basmati rice. The mango chicken was absolutely delicious with a great sweet and sour mango sauce. My girlfriend loved the chicken tikka masala and we both enjoyed the garlic naan and masala fries. We have been looking for good Indian food since we moved to the Shenandoah Valley, and we finally found it here at Everest! It's as good or better than any place we ever tried in the I95 corridor. Very good naan, and the Lamb Vindaloo was rich and perfectly spicy, with ample portions. It's a bit of a drive for us from Woodstock, but it's worth it, and we will definitely be back! Nice home quality food and exceptional service. The food taste is well balanced with the correct combination of spices and ingredients.

I wasn't sure what to expect, and once I saw the prices on the menu I was tempted to leave. However the portions are large enough that the prices were good. The food is very good, lacks the oily tongue coating flavor that some Indian restaurants leave you with. This is a huge plus in my book.
