They did a deep clean and now my teeth are worse! They use a rotary tool which I've never had done before and I've had my teeth cleaned my whole life. They hurt me, my teeth are super sensitive, the bite plate is ridiculous and my new dentist said not to use it. Paid $300 for it out of pocket. Will never go back. Expired meds used in dental procedures as well. Saw it myself. read more

The office is clean and easy on the eyes. The appointment was easy as well and the cleaning was thorough, they even re-glued one of my permanent brackets from my old braces from back in 2014, no charge. Appreciate the knowledgeable staff! read more

First time I went to this office I was seen by a very nice gentleman who told me what other dentists told me was wrong, he could save my teeth. He said some were savable, some needed root canals and the rest needed removal. He told me how much money I would need and I said I would save and come back. That was nov 2023. But then today I went in and saw a lady, she told me since I waited too long (2 months) all my teeth need to be removed and full dentures in place. And plus the tooth I came in to get extracted she has to refer me out. I explained that is not what I was told last time and she said oh well this is what your teeth look like now. First on the door it says extractions done there. And second I have state insurance but I told her the root canals would be out of pocket. She didn't care. She just kept saying remove all teeth. I will be going somewhere else. I feel discriminated on due to the fact I have state insurance and she can't make any money off me! I gave them one star because if you get the gentleman me might be able to save your smile. read more

One of the best dentist I've been to. The staff is super nice and work with you on payments and all options. Wish they were open on Saturdays but they close late on Tuesdays so it helps. Tip: Mondays are by appointment only other than that they do fit in walk ins especially if it's an emergency. But I suggest an appointment since it's so busy :) read more

I really didn't know which reviews to trust. On Google Maps this office has a 1.7 but on Yelp it has twice that. Let me help you out with that. 1.7 is being nice. The receptionist and the nurse I had were awesome but Julie the dentist herself couldn't care less about you. While she was examining me one of her tools stabbed me in the face (drawing blood) by mistake and I drew back a bit to get away from it. She didn't apologize. She didn't do anything but go right back to what she was doing. I waited an hour and she was in and out as fast as she could be. If you have any other option, utilize it. read more

After not seeing a dentist since leaving the Navy 30 years ago, my teeth started falling out. Pure fear gripped me as I finally decided to see a dentist. Dr. Hong had been recommended by a few co-workers, so I went to see her. I was promptly greeted with smiles at the front desk. I felt comfortable from the second I walked in the door. Dr. Hong was a true professional with me!! I have since recommended her office to many friends. Her calmness made me forget about the Navy butchers I had dealt with in my past. Dr Julie made a lot of mistakes with me. We took xrays and decided on pulling a bottom rear molar that was bothering me. When I got home to change the gauze, I was shocked to see she had pulled a different tooth, not the one we agreed on, but the one next to it. When she pulled that tooth, she also broke the crown on the tooth next to it...at the gum. When I called in tears saying "you pulled the wrong tooth" she coldly said "it was bad, when the other one bothers you again come in and we'll pull it too" I ended up having to get a partial because after having the original tooth that was bothering me pulled, and her having pulled the (wrong) tooth next to it, and also having to have the tooth with the broken crown pulled.... I was missing too many teeth to eat right. Please note that all the follow up work I had to have done was not at Everett Dental! While I had no issue with the rest of the staff, Julie is not worth the risk. You couldn't pay me to go back! What prompted me to write this review was them calling me to say I was due for a cleaning... You have got to be kidding!!!!!! read more

I have been to many dentists over my lifetime and I am quite impressed with Dr. Hong's attention to detail and his bedside manner. He is a consummate professional who does excellent work and one whom I highly recommend. His staff is equally pleasant and their hours of operation are quite amenable to one's busy schedule. Please find another dentist, Dr Hong worked on several fillings for my husband that weren't cleaned out properly. Not long after we found out from another dentist the same fillings worked on by Dr Hong still had cavities in them. Also had issues with filling falling out. I wish I had the time to sue them. She didn't spend much time on a deep cleaning either. Save your teeth! Go elsewhere! read more

after xrays I was told that I need 7 touchup's, 5 fillings and possibley a root canal. And it took the dentist hardly 2 minutes to do that. How is it possible. Then I went back for deep cleaning becaused dentist said I have too. And It took them hardly 10 minutes to do it and It wasen't even deep cleaning. They tell you all that coz they want to charge insurance for all that but they dont do anything. This is a insurance fraud.... read more

I would not recommend this business. I stopped going to this dentist because I had an infection that reoccurred from their work and was then misdiagnosed resulting in hospitalization and surgery. I felt like my concerns were not taken seriously and I ended up at my family doctor for diagnosis and treatment. Be wary of this dentistry. read more

After a disastrous experience with a dentist in Marysville who put in the wrong veneers, then instead of replacing them, she ground them down to nothing (taking off all the porcelain) and left me with chalky looking front teeth that cracked and had to be replaced at my own expense. Then I found Dr. Julie Hong at Everett Dental Care. Dr. Hong had to start from scratch and redo everything. I now have great looking teeth, excellent dental care, and the greatest office personnel available. I recommend Everett Dental Care completely and without reservation. This is by far the worst dental office we have been toThey did work on our nine year old that we found out later didn't need to be done at all! And I mean major work! I have only been a patient for one actual visit for treatment done, so I was torn between 2 or 3 stars, but I had 8 fillings and a "deep" cleaning in under and hour. I was in the dental field for over 30 years and know that you cannot do a deep cleaning in this amount of time. Either I did not need a deep cleaning once I got in the chair or this is fraud. The fillings they did were great and I was very happy with them, especially at where they were in my mouth and they matched the shade perfectly. But about the deep cleaning, you might want to take note, patients and insurance companies don't like this. read more

I was helped by a representative via phone that didn't speak very clearly, however I didn't have a problem understanding what was being explained to me, previous. I was called on Friday to be let know that I had an appt today, in between five and six pm. Normally I have appts with my kids but they didn't say to bring them so I assumed they were not being seen. Today, however, I call to cancel my appointment and they did without charge, which was great, yet I feel penalized for cancelling because the lady on the phone yelled at me and began being rude, saying that all of my family had an appt, further along if my kids could come alone, when I told her no she said she could no longer see us, yet I hadn't ever missed an appt before. I cancelled today because I am sick, and coughing and have a runny nose, which I thought would make sense to not go in. I don't understand the rudeness and then was told to me that I could not get an appointment until December? I feel like they didn't want to assist us in the first place, as when I first tried to get an appointment I had to leave multiple messages and never got a return call back, I had to call back and call back. I don't feel treated respectfully and will not be returning to this dentist. I really like the dentist though sad they have such people representing them. read more

If I could give NO stars I would. This has been so awful. My son was scheduled for an appointment at 3pm. We showed up 10 minutes early, were not acknowledged by the receptionist at all who wouldn't even lift her head from her cell phone which rang the entire time we were there, finally got her to notice us and let her know I was checking him in. We sat in the waiting area for 30 minutes before finally the receptionist brought us back to a treatment room. His appointment was at 3:00 and we were not brought back into a room until 3:20. We were left in the room with not even an assistant coming in to greet us or let us know there would be a wait and we waited for ANOTHER 20 minutes before finally deciding to just walk out and schedule with another dentist. Don't get me wrong, as a fellow dental professional I understand running behind and having to make patients wait from time to time, but to not be acknowledged whatsoever and to wait for an HOUR for an appointment that should only have taken 10-15 minutes at most was just so unprofessional. Needless to say I am going to be taking my son to a different dentist that will acknowledge that our time is important as well as their own. read more

BAD practice- had to wait for thirty minutes in the lobby from my scheduled time for a couple of times. Doctors change frequently, it seems they are just building up some experience and have very impersonal and hasty approach. The doctor said I had a big cavity in one of my teeth and upon my agreement to treat it started working without an x-ray (I had been checked 4 months ago and there was nothing said about the tooth decay). The tooth did not bother me at all and here we are - a big cavity, he drilled to the nerve and oops we need a root canal, wait a minute- you do not just go for root canal like that- if for this practice it is not a big deal and good money, for me it is an invasive, high-risk and costly procedure that should be done by an endodontist who at least will do a fresh x-ray and assess the true necessity of the root canal. The place certainly needs improvement. read more

I had an appointment with everett dental care and I asked a simple question to the lady over the phone who was "the supervisor" she was extremely rude on the phone with me, she left me on hold for 20 minuets for one simple question i had. She went off topic and didn't even answer my question and was talking over me when I was trying to tell her what she was telling me had nothing to do with the question I asked so I asked to speak to the supervisor and she said she was "the boss" and there was no one above her and she said "good luck" trying to get a hold of the boss I then told her how rude she was and she stated I dont care.
