Love this Market !!! Great place to grab some things for an informal picnic. Wish this store was…read moreclose by but found this gem in a recent trip to Philly where you can grab e writhing you need for a picnic or just some really great snacks to bring back to your Hotel. I have to say their crispy, crusty baguettes freshly baked daily are pretty darn amazing and are great paired with butter or some of their great deli meats. They have a deli counter, produce, and a bakery. Highly recommend stop here if you find yourself in Philly.

In my eternal quest to find the best grocery store rotisserie chicken in the world, Di Bruno Bros…read moreis the ONLY bird I have run into that had a dry rub... and I've eaten 76th different grocery store tissis as of penning this. I was initially perturbed at the sight of the dry rub, but after demolishing this entire thing, I began to question the rest of the country. Why isn't a dry rub more popular on a rotisserie chicken? It really works. It cost $12.99 and it ended up landing at 9/10, which currently ranks it 8th out of 76 grocery store birds I've tried. An ELITE bird. I was so hungover doing this review, and it damn near brought me back to life. You can lowkey feel that in the video. On an ancillary note, I love Philly with all of my being. There is so much soul down there. One of the most slept on food scenes in the world. I feel like I say this in every Philly review, but I will continue to say it until Philly gets the respect it deserves. GO BIRDS! For a full list of the rankings, head over to johnnynovo.com. Seemed like a pretty standard Jewish-style deli, and the sides were tasty as well. One of the people at our table ordered carrot cake, which was quite large, and I got to taste some of it, which was tasty too. All the staff there were very friendly too, and it's fairly loud in there like your typical local deli. I would consider going back again if I'm in the area or some friends are going.

Hostess-very rude, no smile, barely spoke up to us. we prayed she wasn't our waitress too At the table -trash on the floor from previous diner(s) Our waitress was super nice. We ordered a Corned Beef special and a Roast beef special. When they arrived we couldn't tell the difference. I've never had such dark brown corned beef served to me Neither sandwich had any taste or flavor, like they forgot to put the pickling spice on. Maybe they aren't making the meats in house anymore? Pickle Bar - wow, you might as well just serve us the few sparse items that you now offer. Disappointing Overall- we travel a distance to come here and will take Hymies off our list. I've been a customer since Barson's on Haverford Ave in the 70s I had a sense that the love and care was no longer there. Sad
