Satisfying, solid, hearty, filling, and always a breakfast I look forward to eating. I choose Christie's for days I'm feeling a little blue and need a little pick me up OR for a a hefty breakkie sando to fuel me through a long workday with few breaks. The owners/staff are sweet and remember not just my order, but my roommate's, their partners, and our neighbors. The shop is humble and welcoming inside. I've run inside in my sweatpants and also in my business attire but never felt out of place with the breakfast-seeking, sleepy eyed patrons that fill the small dining area and register's line. Little shops like Christie's Deli deserve all the love. They're a great part of the neighborhood and strengthens our sense of community. Try the Christie's breakfast sandwich! It's my favorite!

Great place for a quick, filling breakfast or lunch pick-up! It's a small shop, but don't be deceived. They have tons of sandwich, wrap and panini options - both signature creations and sandwich classics - in addition to a bunch of snacks and drinks. During this trip, I tried the highly recommended Mike's breakfast, a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant with a hashbrown and chipotle aioli. The cheese was melty, the hashbrown was crispy, and the bacon tasted fresh which are all important qualities to look out for in a good breakfast sandwich! The other breakfast sandwich options looked super tasty too, so I look forward to going back to try different sandwiches. The staff is always so kind and provide excellent service. This neighborhood spot is most definitely a gem!

I got 2 breakfast sandwiches for me and my boyfriend. I had Mike's breakfast, and he had Cliff's breakfast. We both thought that these sandwiches were great for a light meal to start off our day. Service was very friendly and quick. I think I was in and out of here within 10 minutes. I also think it's cool how they switch it up every week with limited time menu items. Their regular menu is extensive so there must be something for everyone.

I got the special that day which was a chicken finger hoagie, the absolute best hoagie around! Friendly smiles from the gentlemen working the register(Onie) & it was a great community of regulars to people watch from. Great seating for dinning in, highly recommended! Update: I came back the following day because Onie mentioned a special that they only make one a month called the BANG BANG SHRIMP HOAGIE

Sandwiches are probably my favorite thing to eat for lunch. That said, I am always searching for great places to get one. And I think I have found the best. Stopped by today to get the Buffalo chicken panini. It was reasonably priced, and DELICIOUS. This is my new go to sandwich spot. Cannot wait to try their breakfast sandwiches.

These are the best sandwiches in Fairmount! I have walked by this place for months, and my boss randomly recommended it to someone who was craving a sandwich. I must admit, it took me a few months to finally step inside, but when I did it perfect timing. My friend was celebrating her birthday, and I chose to visit after she finished her teaching sessions for the morning. We walked into the little deli, and tons of beautiful colors and flavors filled the walls of the space. I have never treated a friend to a birthday sandwich, but as she scanned the walls in delight, I felt a surge of affirmation - it was worth the risk. She ended up choosing two delicious sandwiches for her long day ahead and I landed on my favorite flavor of 2023: The (self-proclaimed) Gabby Sandwich. It's the Grilled Salmon speciality sandwich with out everything else! Beyond the sandwiches, the sides leave you with limitless flavor journeys. There are a lot of fresh fruits, walls teeming with chips (including plantain chips ) and multiple drinks to choose from. As a Montclair native, I of course had the "Joe's Tea" - which now is bottled and produced in Elizabeth, NJ - but I was appreciative of the range of options for enhancing my meal! There is no spoiler alert because the food was FANTASTIC. The best way to conclude is the most genuine review - a woman walked in while I was waiting to pick up her sandwich and as I exited I saw her demolishing her sandwich in the front seat of tje car! It was so good, she couldn't make it another mile without a bite, and if I didn't have to get back to work, I would have been sitting right next to her in the passenger seat. Next time you go, you may see me there! If not, tell them I sent you to Christie's Deli!

Cute little spot with outdoor seating. I got their croissant special breakfast sandwich with no bacon and egg whites. It was simple, delicious, and totally worth it. They also have amazing Thai iced tea. Cashier was friendly and attentive.

What an unexpected find this was after climbing the Rocky Steps! It was time to indulge in a hearty breakfast and why not try the Christie's Breakfast sandwich. Filled with satisfying ingredients including crunch (hash brown patty) spicy sauce (garlic Siracha) and yummy fried egg, cheddar, onion and pork roll on a toasted croissant. PERFECTION. I thought I was in Heaven. Very friendly staff. Don't miss this local gem. Low key ambiance-quick serve style.

This place is the definition of an incredible hole in the wall deli. It's a family run shop and clearly has lots of regulars. These are easily some of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Not exactly something I could eat every day since they're super heavy but very much a "treat yoself" meal after a late night out or... after a big workout! We got the Christie's and Cliff's breakfast specials and were blown away by the generous portions, great quality of ingredients, and the most stunning cheese pull we've seen in a sandwich (I mean, just look at the pics!). We personally preferred the Cliff's, but the Christie was also delicious and must try given the namesake. Can't wait to go back and try the other specials!

I got Mike's Breakfast sandwich and Christie's Breakfast sandwich over three days. The roll was soft and chewy. The hash browns were crisp. The eggs fresh. And the meat juicy and tender. I think Mike's ever so slightly edges out Christie's Breakfast just because I think bacon wins out over pork roll.

We have eaten at the high tops, in the main dining room, and at the tables extending into The Harper lobby, and each area feels like part of the same unified experience. The colors and lighting inside are especially warm and inviting, giving the room a glow that feels cozy and uplifting, especially during a Philadelphia winter. Food remains at the center of the experience, and my order is always the Jerusalem bagel with egg and cheese. On the rare occasions when turkey bacon appears, I add it as a welcome delicacy and a little extra sustenance, though the bagel is already delicious on its own. The cinnamon sugar kubaneh, the chocolate chip cookie, and the Bloody Mary are excellent. K'Far has also expanded its selection of bowls and salads since we ate here most regularly, and they look consistent with the quality of everything else. These days, a full breakfast here does not always fit within our budget, but I still make a point of stopping in for OX Coffee, which is delicious and, happily, roasted in Philadelphia. The Yemenite latte is another distinctive pleasure, aromatic and satisfying without feeling like a novelty created merely for attention. The staff is consistently charming, welcoming, and composed, and the team's continuity and energy suggest that people genuinely enjoy working here. When our budget allows, I will absolutely return to eat. Perhaps the clearest expression of K'Far's brilliance arrives in one memory from a cold, radiantly sunny Saturday, when "Inspector Norse" by the Norwegian producer Todd Terje comes through the speakers as the restaurant buzzes around us. The track, the worldly crowd, and the aroma from the kitchen create the elusive feeling Steve Cook and Mike Solomonov understand so well: people go out to eat because they want to feel seen and be briefly transported into a more vivid version of life. I already love K'Far and The Hoxton as separate brands, so seeing them come together at The Hoxton in Williamsburg feels like an unusually natural and exciting partnership. Creating this kind of social magnetism inside a bakery and café is a subtle achievement, and Philadelphia is richer for having a place with this much flavor, warmth, and personality.

The $10 martinis on Friday were an excellent deal and definitely one of the highlights of the evening. A well-priced martini always sets a promising tone, and these did exactly that. The space itself is huge and very clean, with plenty of tables and seating, so it was easy for everyone to spread out, settle in, and enjoy themselves without feeling packed in. A major point in its favour is the setup for watching sports. They have a massive wall of TV screens, plus more TVs throughout the space, which made it very easy to keep up with multiple games at once. No awkward craning for a view, no fighting for the one good seat, just a very solid setup for a group outing. A lively, well-run spot for drinks and groups, and one we would happily return to.

I ordered the House Angus Burger with sweet potato fries. It was solid, flavorful, and definitely filling. My friend got the Bella Vista Omelet with home fries, and we both agreed that while the food was good, it felt like standard brunch fare rather than anything particularly memorable. Based on the long wait and the hype surrounding Sabrina's, I think we were expecting the food to really stand out. In my opinion, the dishes we tried were comparable to what you'd find at a quality chain brunch spot like First Watch. That's not necessarily a bad thing, the food was satisfying, but it didn't quite justify the lengthy wait. That said, the menu has plenty of more unique and creative options that we didn't try. I'd be open to coming back and ordering one of those specialty dishes next time. Overall, I left satisfied with the meal and service.
