This place feels like home. I'm proud to call the chef and owners, Sara, Mark and Kris, my friends. The atmosphere is always friendly, it's like a scene from Cheers when my husband and I walk in the door "the Greene's are here, welcome!" Also, the food is wonderful. My favorites are the clam chowder, anything from their holiday menu, and the deserts, but honestly you can't go wrong with anything from the prepared-food fridges. It's also wonderful to have the fresh seafood on the weekends. Mark is happy to offer recipes for any of this fish, my fave is the Oysters Rockefeller. We love this place, and are especially excited for the demo dinners to be able to open back up after the pandemic. We had a lovely time dining with them before the cooking portion of their business closed for COVID. Do yourself a favor and stop by this gem. You won't regret it. read more

Just have to say very over priced to start with! And I start that with my Thanksgiving dinner I bought there to serve. The turkey was tasty but everything else was mediocre or below! They charged 12 dollars for quart of gravy that was just water basically and absolutely no taste. I had to finish cooking with my own spices for taste but it was still water. The stuffing was good, garlic potatoes had way too much sour cream or sour taste to them. To me over priced and just not enjoyable! But I have to say I keep going in and just buy for everyday and not thanksgiving and the food is still over priced and also mediocre! I think I may be done trying! read more

Wonderful experience!! I've been to several recreational cooking classes over the years and Evergreen Cooking School is hands down THE BEST!! You can choose from either 'hands on' classes, where you actually learn how and prepare the meal OR a demonstration class where the incredible chef Mark cooks an amazing meal before your eyes. The best part, of course, is enjoying the amazing food and wine, but every moment leading up to the meal is educational and fun. The owners, Mark and Sara, are absolutely lovely -- they are passionate, funny and sweet and make every guest feel special. They also offer a variety of specialty foods at great prices! As I write this, I am eating fresh ceviche (salmon + Chilean bass) picked up from this yummy place today and will finish with a tortufo. No need to find fine dining...this place is fabulous! All kinds of goodies...bought their Sea Scallop Chowder also...delicious...everything is fresh fresh fresh..top notch. My only (positive) complaint I have is I overheard two women talking about some delicious cookies and they were all out by the time I got to the area they were getting them from! I picked up chicken piccata with garlic mashed potatoes to have for dinner tomorrow night. The meats and fish are fresh and market price. just keep in mind if you stop by your need about a half an hour to go through the whole place because they have all kinds of great sauces, to go foods, pasta, highly recommend! read more

This place is fantastic! We moved to Evergreen this spring. I've probably been here a dozen times already for their pre-made meals, salsas, and sauces. The clam chowder is a family favorite.
