Every year it rains I have new leaks in the roof they installed, they used the cheapest materials and worst installation team, they have a new owners but that doesn't fix my on going issue! Now I'm stuck paying thousands of dollars for a roof that leaks every time it rains!!! read more

Horrible company. Salesman completely lied in order to get my business. I'm paying for solar I do not have when my salesman said we have more than enough panels.They are trying to blame IID when in fact it's because my solar is NOT generating enough power!! I have talked to IID 4 times and they confirmed this every time. My bills and evergreen app shows I'm not producing enough!!! Evergreen solar is stating that IID is lying and just wants our money. When I can actually reach someone at evergreen They have refused to do anything and therefore I am paying high electric bills as well as monthly solar . Trying to talk to someone usually take several phone calls as oddly enough, no matter what time of day it is every time I call, the person I want to speak to is "just stepping into a meeting" apparently they think I'm an idiot as well Anyway, go with a bigger more reputable company as it's obvious these people don't know what they're doing read more

I had been considering going solar for a while, but I have always been hesitant because I truly didn't know if it would be worth the hassle. I got to speak to Mike, who came to my house, and took the time to explain everything to me in detail. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he made the whole process easy for me. It took about a week from the initial consultation to have the solar panels installed, since the installation I'm saving money every month on my electric bill which has turned to practically nothing. I do want to see the difference it makes during the summer because that is when my bill spikes the most. But so far it is great! I also want to point out this was not the only solar company I looked at/spoke to... but they offered the best prices and equipment to go along with it. They provide great warranty and the panels are the ones with micro inverters which was explained to me so if one panel does go out the system stays running and only that panel would have to be replaced. Luckily I have not run into that problem but it definitely makes me feel more secure with the system. Wow! I can't even begin to tell you how awful this company is. To begin: They took our payment in ~Oct 2023. Evergreen was supposed to be there at the end of January for inspection. They no showed. In fact, they no showed multiple times severely delaying cutting this over. Then the fact they didn't have the right labels furthering the delay. Then they blamed SMUD for not providing the authorization to operate, so then I had to call SMUD who said Evergreen had it weeks early. We were supposed to have a project manager however we NEVER heard from the project manager and after multiple escalations we finally were assigned Luis, however we still had to call weekly to find out the status. It's now April 2024, our Simplisafe doorbell now has no power to it. They sent an electrician several times but they couldn't figure it out and told me I had to hire a low voltage electrician to fix it. I was told to sent the receipt to Vanessa and I would be reimbursed. I hired an electrician which cost me $800 and now Evergreen won't reimburse us. I was told to call "Compliance" who ended up being their manager Alex. More to come about Alex....... While I was at the rental house with their electrician my husband called Alex to ask him about the Enlighten App and Alex went crazy on him SCREAMING at him "I already told your wife about the doorbell!!!! You don't know anything about electricity!! Your house is old and that's not our problem!!!" and then he hung up on my husband. It was so bad that my husband is now texting me concerned for my safety and calling Nick, our sales person, to make sure I was going to be okay with their electrician. In addition to all of this, we had a power outage and our house was without power even though there are two batteries on the house which means they never set anything up to to keep the power on for our fridges and some lighting in the event of an outage. The only great thing is the sales person Nick. Otherwise STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. read more

Still this project isn't done!!!! Failed every inspection so far and we have been sent emails from the utility company that the job should have never been started started project last year and still no clue to when it will be up and running they have not kept their word on any of the work or reimbursed payments. 1 year ago I had a consultation with Evergreen/Tesla and Sunrun to see who has the best and most sufficient product. After going over all the information they provided we went with Evergreen, they were able to install and get the permits very quickly plus the installation was done within a couple of days after they obtained the permits. They were easy to communicate with and the whole process was very streamlined and easy. I strongly recommend them and I personally like the enphase micro inverter, specifically if you live in area where you know you get some shade from trees or other buildings. read more

I went solar with Evergreen Solar June 1st. My solar panels were installed the first week of August and were connected in September. I received three bills from PG&E and they were all only $10. Which is much better than my previous bills that were over $400. I was very skeptical of going solar because some family members have got true up bills. At this point in time everyone in my house was busy and could not make it to the door. The contractor then proceeded to pound on my front window aggressively until I answered the door. So we have gone through multiple solar company's coming to our door and we have also almost got solar with them until we read the reviews and they were either bad reviews or they wanted to keep out tax return or they didnt do right by the customers...so a couple weeks ago a solar guy named Elhaum came to the door to offer us solar and I was instantly like sorry we don't qualify or want it right now but he asked me a few questions and and told me about evergreen solar and im not gonna lie i was worried about them jus being another door to door solar company, but after talking to him and explaining what weve been through with all the rest, He reassured me and even put in a call to Alex another knowlegdable worker to have him come over within 20 mins and give us all the details and breakdown of everything solar and aswer all the questions we were unsure about and they reassured us every step of the way and even encouraged us to do our research and compare companys and prices . We had Evergreen Solar install their system to heat our pool just over 1 year ago. It's extended our pool season by several months and works great! I realized that I was a bit premature in my update. I allowed them to sweet talk me into changing my original review when I should have waited for complete actions. They have a habit of promising great things and delivering only a quarter of it. I thought that by being under new management would have changed that. So far, I was wrong. My electric bill was almost $800, this cycle, and it was over $500, the previous cycle, because my panels haven't been working for the past few of months. Though I'm still paying for them. They have supposedly been working on getting them fixed for the past 2 months. Apparently when they installed the panels the first time, they installed an obsolete unit, or something like that. I haven't even been offered compensation from them. This may or may not be my final update on them. The next time they ask me to change the review, I'll wait for satisfaction.
