A month ago, I dialed National and got a free estimate. The person's name Artie showed up late. He will give you a good price and that seems to be catch. Schedule to install Sprinkler system was agreed on one of Thursday. No one showed up the whole day. After three try Artie texted me that it was mix-up and he can do installation on April 30th. We agreed. Yesterday 4/29, I had neither text nor phone call for confirmation. I texted Artie and no response. I left VM and no answer. After that he started disconnecting my phone. I had no choice, so I called the main number. At office one lady tried to help me by checking schedule and told me we are not on their schedule for 4/30. I explained that I need to take Day-off for this and he should have at least a curtsy to call me. She promises me that Artie will call you. Instead of calling I got text, and he said I am running late in scheduled installation, and I will not be able to do your job. He even told me that he would be fine if I found another company to do a job. Really, After one month of loss. Please take in writing if they will honor the installation date.

I never received a phone call .... they just proceeded on their own I came home at the end of August to find 60% of my lawn was sprayed with a round up type product to kill 60% of my lawn! I WAS IN SHOCK! I TERMINATED THIS COMPANY !!! Now I needed to find a new company to provide a solution to install a new lawn quickly since it was the beginning of Sept. Lucky lawn was highly recomended from an extremly reliable source. I called the Lucky Lawn office told them I needed someone to come out and look at my lawn. I was told it would probably be Jim Buchanan, the owner of the company. I was impressed! Two hours later I received a text message it was Jim Buchanan telling me he was in the area and he wanted to stop by but I was not home. I called him back, he told me he would be by the next day. At 10 Am he was at my door. Reviewed the entire property told me what had to be done and walked me through what Lucky Lawn would do and when. His approach was direct and spot on... he was there with a crew the following week to aerate the soil ,spread 10 yards of top soil, apply 100 pounds of grass seed along with hay! It is now a month since my nightmare and I have the best lawn I ever had! I was so fortunate to have found Lucky Lawn... I do not know who could have reacted so quickly and provide such great results! They have done and incredibly job! One more thing: Eden Farms maintains my property with the exception of the lawn service for lawn aplications. They pulled together a crew to pull up the existing dead lawn in 2 days and prepped it for Lucky Lawn. They also did an impossible job on very short notice! I am extreamly happpy and satisfied with both of these companies servicing my property!

However they have now been bought out by Ned Stevens and the service is very poor - they just showed up one day without letting me know they were coming, and they just tossed the debris onto the ground into our gardens, and were running around with the leaf blower disturbing the garden when I arrived home. Being a first time homeowner, I didn't think to ask but assumed that I was in good hands. I called back to ask about this today, and Dominic (a nice enough guy) mentioned that the team is supposed to have a discussion with clients about when is the right time to do this repair work, as well as the fact that they typically do a discounted revisit in circumstances like this. He mentioned he would check with Ray, the owner, and get back with a resolution. 30m later, he called with news that they would be willing to come back for the full price of a cleaning and there wasn't anything he would do to make this right. So, neither of the things promised happened. I was left with feeling like I was cheated out of some money because he saw an opportunity during his low season, and even though it would have made sense to do the work later, he saw a chance to make some quick money now and leave me with the bag. Disappointing and I'll be going somewhere else. Would advise others to be careful of Ray and his team. Beware.

That left me, my wife, and our 4-year-old without power or heat right after a snowstorm and during freezing temperatures. We had to leave our home and stay in a hotel on very short notice. We called Fattizzi Electrical (Paul Fattizzi), and he was outstanding. He responded quickly, understood the urgency, and got to work right away. Within two days, he had everything repaired and ready for inspection. He worked with Con Ed to come back out promptly, they cleared everything, and restored power so we could safely return home. It was a stressful situation, but Paul's responsiveness, professionalism, and ability to move quickly made a huge difference. I would absolutely recommend Fattizzi Electrical to anyone dealing with an urgent or serious electrical issue.
