When cupping a new roast they try different ratios and brew methods to find the perfect mix to bring out all the notes. They make wonderful and inventive seasonal drinks. Torn on how to rate this coffee shop. 5 stars for customer service but sadly I was not crazy about the cold brew I ordered. I'm your typical Starbucks kinda gal and was looking for a local family owned coffee shop to support instead. Found Evermore on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I love everything about this place. Employees are beyond friendly, the inside is perfectly decorated, and it's a 5 min drive from my house! We wanted to try something totally different than what we typically order. So... I ordered the CB vanilla & lavender coffee and my bf ordered the cold brew cardamom coffee. My drink was very florally & tasted a bit like perfume and the other CB tasted a bit odd (can't really explain the taste). I will say, coffee here is a bit on the pricy side. We spent $12 on our two drinks! We're totally open to the idea of coming back and ordering what we would at any other coffee shop bc it's not fair to judge something we normally wouldn't order. Absolutely loved the vibe of this place and how laidback and beautiful the space is itself. The barista could tell I was indecisive about what to get and took the time to recommend some drinks to me based on my preferences. She went on to make me an insanely delicious lavender mocha with oat milk that was perfectly creamy with just the right hint of sweetness. My fiancé had a dirty chai latte which was just as good. The ambiance at Evermore Coffee Roasters is one to be appreciated. The craftsmanship put into their drinks, from the roast to the latte art is phenomenal. When you're in the Burlington area and need a place to relax/recharge, get some work done or even get to know the locals, the Evermore's the place to be. My personal suggestion for the coffee lovers is to have a cortada with oat milk. Very delicious and that Oat milk carries the coffee flavor so well. For those who aren't big on coffee a Chai Latte with Oat milk is my absolute fave. The blend of spices in the chai are bright and leaves you feeling cozy and warm, even when its iced. Small batch roasters are springing up all over the place to sell directly to the public at retail establishments and cafes, and through chains of distribution to local, regional and national outlets. This is a business whose time has come. Evermore Coffee Roasters on E. Union Street, Burlington, NJ has set up shop on the first floor of an old row house, and done a remarkable job renovating the space into an old century feeling comfortable house, with expresso machine up front, and a larger sitting room in back, with their roaster against the far wall. Colors are soft gray/blue, and the windows let in a filtered light that provide a warm and dated ambiance commensurate with the age of the building. Like the feeling here. My cup of Congo pour over took a short while to brew, but when I picked it up at the counter, it was hot and steaming. First sip announced a dark, mysterious roasted bean soup with a kick in the head sensibility. It took no prisoners. Liked it a lot, even with its strong acidity. At $3.75 for a fairly small self-logoed cup, it was a bit cher for the quantity, but worth the experience. The offer of a refill at a reasonable charge (not to mention gratis), would have enhanced the value proposition. The near-lack of bakery goods or other light fare, had me packing up to move on quickly after finishing my drink. The opportunity to enjoy any of these options would go a long way to establishing Evermore as a destination for the café crowd that often likes a little nosh with their bean wash. Believe the hype is all I'm saying. This is BY FAR THE BEST M'FING COFFEE SHOP IN SOUTH JERSEY!!!!!! Why do you ask? Well because the owners are the sweetest humans, their barista humans are equally as amazing. Not to mention the pride Ryan takes in roasting his beans. Their coffee is amazing and rich as coffee should be. You can taste the notes in the bean because they are that good. Coffee not your jam? Try one of their teas or their seasonal drinks because they don't disappoint. And can I say holy ambiance. I'm reluctant to even talk about how great it is because I don't want to share. That's right I'm selfish and don't want to share my spot. Loved that they added a small food menu to accompany their delightful pastry selection. Oh and they always always always make the drinks for my kids at the perfect temp. I no longer have to hang my head in shame and sheepishly ask the barista to remake the drink for my assertive 4 year old (what can I say she likes what she likes). What I order: Breve latte -- yes I like real thick cream in my latte, iced depending on the season for all us basics. This legit tastes like a milkshake. It's beautiful. It's chocolate-y. It's delightful. Avo toast -- millennial staple of course. Theirs doesn't disappoint. The bread is not that hard stuff you get (looking at you Sabrina's). What a cute little shop! My friend has been telling me to check this place out for a while now and I'm glad I finally did. It was the middle of the day and I've been craving a chai, so I tried their iced dirty chai. It was perfect! Not too sweet like I like it. My friend got their hibiscus iced tea and that was also excellent. The shop itself was adorable and a perfect place to relax. I noticed they had a bin of books for you to read while you're there. There is parking on the street as well as a back parking lot with entrances from both. We stopped by this coffee shop today, what a great find. The interior is clean as a whiste, nicely decorated, and has very nice comfy back room with additional seating. There is free Wifi. But the best part was the coffee (see photos), the coffee was delicious. The croissants were great also. This shop is run by the owners and it shows that they care and know how to do coffee. The owners and staff are so charming and sweet, this shop is the perfect addition to Burlington. The shop is cozy and comforting and a great place to get some work done or to relax in on the weekend. Really good coffee in a great space and location. I love that they offer milk alternatives as well. Soy for an additional 75 cents and almond for an extra $1. I was hoping for some vegan options in the case but nothing was specified so I stayed away to be safe. They do carry oatmeal cups and granola bars so I grabbed a Kind Bar with my soy milk latte which came to over $9. Pricey but I would be more annoyed about it if the coffee wasn't so good. Walking into Evermore provides a nice welcome. The owner and staff are very nice at the counter. But the best part about Evermore is their coffee! It's great to have a genuine coffee house in the neighborhood. There is street parking plus a huge lot behind business and you can enter through back door. There is a large comfortable seating area to enjoy your coffee. I love the coffee but I am not happy with bakery items. They look beautiful but they don't taste as good as they look.
