This company is the absolute worst. We hired them because our basement flooded. Not only did they not fix our basement properly so that we have 4 feet of water come in regularly. But then they said that they never said that our basement would stop flooding after they did work to it. They were extremely aggressive and mean. Not just rude, but actually verbally, aggressive, and on the attack. I am a woman and was at home alone when their service man came out and he was yelling at me and frankly, I was pretty scared and uncomfortable having a grown man that is a stranger yell at me in my house. It was the worst experience I have had in a long time and they have already cost me all of my property tax money that I had to spend fixing the basement . Now I have to sell my house or I'll lose it. I lost so many thousands of dollars because my basement flooded after they told me that it wouldn't anymore. My roommate had had to move out and actually became homeless for a little while and had to live in a homeless shelter because her bedroom was in the basement. Luckily, she finally found a place to live. No help to Everseal. This was the first house I had lived in For more than a couple of years . I've lived here for over 11 years and now I have to move because everseal ripped me off and lied to me. Don't ever use this company. They will lie to you and not tell you everything. they will promise you would dry basement and then tell you that they never promised that and it wasn't their responsibility to make your basement dry. He told me I have water coming in from the sewer and seepage and that he's not gonna help me with either one of them and he's not gonna help me at all. I've never seen a more unprofessional company in my life. I can't believe he started yelling at me. I am a victim of violent crimes so that really scared me extra. Save yourself from the Horrible experience I had with them and go to somebody else. They are nothing but con artists and scammers. They will take many thousands of dollars from you and your basement will still flood. read more

Let me start by saying I didn't move forward with hiring Everseal, but that had nothing to do with the quote received or customer service. I didn't because they did an incredible job of diagnosing the issue I had that wasn't waterproofing-related. Ernesto arrived promptly to give me an estimate to repair a sump pump discharge pipe and determined that wasn't the issue. Another company (that I won't name) misdiagnosed the issue and would've costed me thousands of dollars to do the repair that wasn't necessary. Ernesto was courteous, thorough and answered every question I had. Should I eventually need any waterproofing repairs, Everseal will be the first company on my list to call. read more

I can't say enough about Ernesto and Everseal. They got us out of a very bad situation when another contractor dug below our foundation resulting in structural damage to our house. Everseal had already put in the draintile system when the inspector identified the issue. Ernesto worked with us to remedy the issue and even removed and replaced the drain tile at no additional charge. Had drain tile installed in basement plus a lot of demolition to go with that, the whole shebang. They are nice people and they do quality work. The only drawback is sometimes the communication can be a little off, so if you go with them make sure you are communicating clearly and asking lots of questions. What makes this company different from a lot of contractors I have worked with, is that they are extremely responsive when things go wrong. Because things will always go wrong on a big job, especially if you have an old house like me! So in my case... I realized we had a misunderstanding about the location of the sump pit. They had pitched all the drain tile toward a sump pit that was in the wrong location. When I told them about it, they just went ahead and fixed it with no questions asked. Not ideal that we had a miscommunication in the first place, but they redid about 2 days of work without trying to renegotiate a higher price. Not a lot of contractors would do that, including the big corporate places. There were a couple other complications... Again, there always are... But every thing I pointed out, they fixed. They seem like genuinely good, honest guys who are just trying to keep the customer satisfied. They are not a huge operation like the places that put the billboards up all over on 294, but they really stand by their work. read more

Very disappointed with this service! I had called them to check on a leak between by my stairs that was coming from the outside every time it rained. They provided me an estimate and did tell me that they can put some epoxy and fix it there but there is no warranty. because of the high water pressure they cannot guarantee the work because the water has a lot of pressure underground and eventually might pop up from somewhere else. I agreed because I thought at least it might temporary solve the issue and work for a few years at least. However after they finished the job the very first rain, the water was exactly in the same place on the steps like nothing had changed. so there was zero improvement and I was short $650. I've called them several times and called Ernesto and left messages to give me a refund or remedy the situation have not heard back. obviously what they did was not a solution to my problem and I feel like I was short changed. Recently I wrote a 5 star review for Everseal because they truly were awesome in their workmanship but then we had a little hiccup and I was very upset so I took it down. They took very good care of us in the end. It ended up costing us money in other areas that were effected by the hiccup but it was unforeseen and they did take care of us. I waited to post this because I wanted to make sure nothing would happen again and we've had plenty of rain and all is dry. They really worked hard and serviced us well and that is very important. Ernesto visited my property in south Berwyn to check out my basement space (which had been cleared out cause of the flooding so many of us experienced back in July). I currently have no sump pump, and have issues with some water seepage. Ernesto is a fountain of experience and knowledge, He went over every aspect of the project, made suggestions, and generally was very polite and helpful. He made sure to answer every one of my questions and did not get frustrated with me or seem to be in a big rush to leave. The estimate was very fair and in line with what i was expecting overall. About a year and a half ago I purchased my first home. Being as careful as I could be I hired a home inspector. The house came back with no issues and I proceeded to buy it. 6 months later we had heavy rains and my basement and crawl space flooded. My world crumbled around me after spending all this money and stuck with this disaster. We contacted other companies and all they would do when they came out here was try to upsell me things and just patch some cracks. Those same cracks started leaking not even a month later. And of course they wouldn't stand by there warranty making all different excuses. FINALY I was recommended Everseal and decided to give this company a try before I ended up just selling this house at a major loss. Ernesto came out and was very direct and not a game player. He inspected the entire situation from pictures to crawling in his knees inspecting my area. After finished he came to me with a game plan and said very straightforward and direct. I CAN fix this and there is only one way to do it and I will guarantee it. After working out the figures we agreed to this pretty big project. The day came and with all my nerves hanging in this they got to work. I have never seen such hardworking men that were polite and friendly and cared about my house. The amount of work they did and care they took amazed me right away. But that wasn't the true test. I'm not going to lie to you my crawlspace and basement looked like a war zone, I even got so nervous I contacted Ernesto with concerns what we were doing. As always he cane and calmed me and said I will be happy. Well the last day of work came and I'm going to say this with still disbelief they cleaned and restored my area not only back to original but BETTER than it looked before? Ernesto and his team are the best! We wanted interior drain tiles around the full perimeter of our basement, including a very tight squeeze behind our furnace. All other companies said they would "skip" that area, but Ernesto's team was able to dig under the furnace to make sure the tiles were completely connected - amazing! I'm overjoyed that I hired this company to fix the seepage that I've had in my basement ever since I moved in 27 years ago. It rained fairly hard a few days after they finished and I didn't have a drop of water. Ernesto, the owner, provided an estimate for interior drainage tile that was about half of the major waterproofing company, and a little less than the 2 other companies I checked. Most importantly he was willing to work with me on moving several heavy items, breaking up and removing an old concrete sink, and installing a new one which I provided. They also moved and replaced a 12 foot workbench which was against a wall. He suggested redirecting the sump pump to an underground catch basin which they installed, so I no longer have it discharging across my driveway! Unlike some of the other companies, he also obtained the permit himself instead of expecting me to do it. Everseal patched a few cracks in my foundation walls and installed a drain tile, sump pit, and sump pump in my basement floor. The work was completed over 4.5 days. Requesting the quote was prompt, fair, and honest. Ernesto (the owner) was generous with his time in talking through our concerns and educating us on the work processes involved. He was flexible in working with us to address the needs of our home while also keeping our budget in mind. My partner and I did not feel as if he was pushing us towards expanded service/work/equipment. The work was originally scheduled for 3-4 days, but ended up taking 4.5. Workers were present from about 9am-4pm daily. Other than a break for lunch, they were continuous in their work during their time at the home - making the extended timeframe tolerable for us. At the conclusion of the work, Everseal's staff was accommodating and considerate in making sure the home was restored to its original condition. (For example, a rubber ring in the rarely-used downstairs toilet was in need of replacement. Everseal notified us and helped to replace the part.) Workers helped to move furniture and materials to the appropriate location around the basement perimeter as well as reconnect appliances (e.g. washer, dryer, dehumidifier). Before submitting final payment, Everseal upper management explained how the new system works, potential warning signs, the water ejection point into the backyard, and any other essential information. Although I did not realize its importance before the last day, they were helpful in sealing the sump pit cover for my family's safety. Overall, Everseal was a great company to contract. Their work appears to be of high quality, my family had positive interactions with staff members, and the price was the most competitive of the 3 quotes we collected. We are happy with their work and would recommend to other homes. (This was written in June 2018 after work was completed. I will followup with any changes to my experience with Everseal.) read more

I called Everseal because we were having water seepage into our basement and our interior drain tile was not draining properly. Ernesto came out to assess the situation and gave me an estimate. He spent two hours inspecting my basement and answering my questions. He was extremely thorough. Prior to this I had two other companies come out for estimates and Ernesto's came in slightly cheaper and included more work plus he was way more thorough in his inspection. His crew came out and installed a new interior drain tile, filled 14 cracks in my foundation walls and installed a new sump pit and sump pump along with a back up pump and dug my two other sump pits deeper. The guys worked really hard and were very respectful of my belongings when moving things in my basement. In the end they took the time to come back and clean everything up and move things back. The crew that came out and did my work spoke very little English but I was able to use google translate to communicate and also I called Ernesto with questions and he was always great about about getting back to me quickly. Ernesto is very professional and has a great team. I'm still waiting for a big rain to make sure things are definitely staying dry but I have faith in their work and his solution to our problem. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again for any other issues. read more
