This was such a FUN and delicious food tour in Cabo San Lucas!…read more We loved Miguel, our guide. He was entertaining and educational, and kept us moving at a decent pace. He was clearly passionate about Cabo San Lucas, about the history, the restaurants he introduced us to, and the food. There were 11 of us total on the tour, which was a good number. The tour lasted almost three hours total: 2-2.5 hours of the food tour and a little over 30 minutes of the tequila tasting. We made about 6 (7?) total stops, all of which were close to one another so there is walking but honestly not a lot of walking. Still: wear comfortable shoes, as there is some standing. We ate lots of different types of tacos, chilaquiles, burritos, ceviche, ice cream and churros. Come hungry! I loved almost every single thing we ate, and also really loved learning more about the history behind the dishes, how locals eat them vs. how we've Americanized some dishes in the US, and just hanging out in the more local part of town. At the end, there was an optional tequila tasting, which most of us did. I definitely recommend Juan More Tacos for food tours. They have great guides and you get to stop at restaurants that the locals dine in -- not the touristy hot spots. And it's priced well -- such a great value for the amazing experience!

We had a wonderful time on the "Cabo San Lucas Downtown Food and Tacos Tasting Experience", which…read morewe booked with this company through Viator. Our tour guide was Juan, who was both professional and super kind & friendly as he led us through the walking tour. We learned about some of the history of Cabo San Lucas and why there is a diversity of food from different regions of Mexico in this tourist-focused town. Most of the shops that we stopped by were in the less-touristy side, away from the Marina, so it was definitely helpful to have Juan's recommendations and local knowledge. Over the course of the tour, we tried: 1) Chips & salsa, followed by sopes with chicken / beef / chorizo options, at Mercabo Gourmet Street Food (the starting & ending point of the food tour) 2) Taco de rajas con queso y crema (creamy roasted peppers) and cabeza (beef head), plus horchata and super-refreshing agua de jamaica (hibiscus tea), at Los Taco May. We were able to pick any taco from the menu that we wanted to try. 3) Birria taco on freshly-handmade tortillas at Taqueria Morelos 4) Stewed marlin and fried sea bass tacos, plus more hibiscus tea and horchata, at Los Claros. We also had several different options here for which taco we wanted to try. 5) Strawberry and soursop sorbet at La Michoacana - this place had so many different flavors of dairy ice creams, non-dairy sorbets, and popsicles. I had a hard time choosing which one I wanted; Juan recommended the strawberry and soursop sorbets, both of which were so refreshing and delicious in the warm November weather and after all of the savory foods that we'd had. 6) Al pastor and shrimp tacos at El Paisa (the most tourist-y spot that we went to; still good though) 7) Churros with chocolate and condensed milk, back at Mercabo Gourmet Street Food - so yummy! 8) Tequila tasting to end the tour, with no obligation to buy (we sampled a few that sounded interesting but did not buy any) Overall I'd highly recommend doing this tour if you have ~3 hours to spare on your trip to Cabo. Come hungry - I was stuffed full by the end of the tacos portion (but of course still had room for the desserts). Shoutout to our amazing tour guide Juan!

If you are a family of five, it means to sit, you may have some members on the top floor others at random tables. They oversell the ship especially around whale watching season. Avoid this tourist trap!!! Do not believe the tour operators at your resorts. The boat is okay and the food smelled good, but you will be standing for two hours or seating cramped with close to 200 strangers with only about 150 seats, half of which are benches with no backs. If the operators weren't so money hungry and full of spiteful greed, the tour might have been nice. Say they sold the ship to the true seated capacity. The horrible captain made an announcement asking people to scoot over. Families with kids or the elderly (the majority of families) were not interested in moving. I wasted too many precious vacations hours on this tour. I wasted too many precious dollars on this waste. If negative stars were ever an option this would be it. This tour is horrible, horrifying, horrific, abominable, awful, terrible, tragic, and all other adjectives that express regret and anger. This tour will lend to the ruination of your vacation day. Avoid it like the plague. Avoid it at all costs. I rarely write such negative reviews but today is that day. I wish I would have trusted my intuition and gotten off. Should have just jumped overboard. Sugar Honey Iced Tea show writ large. Negative stars and damn sure would never ever ever recommend!

The shuttle picked us up from the hotel and drove us out to Tierra Sagrada. The driver was friendly and we chatted the whole way over. We saw whales from out the windows along the way and then we were off on our adventure! At the conclusion of the day the shuttle dropped us right back at our hotel and we all agreed it was the best part of our trip!

My relatives recently gifted us with a dolphin experience in Cabo and unfortunately I did not do my…read moredue diligence and read these reviews from my fellow Yelpers before our trip. The company Cabo Adventures is a total scam and preys on vulnerable families. I will NEVER use them again for any other activity despite us coming to Cabo every year. I encourage every one from Yelp not to use them as well. Each ticket cost over $200 per person to be part of a group dolphin experience. This is not even private. A child MUST be accompanied by an adult so that forces more people to join. You think after spending over $800 for 4 people they would treat us like royalty right? WRONG. They do not mention any photo pricing online because they don't want to scare you away before you purchase your tickets. But let me tell you, it's an all or nothing photo package (you cannot pick a few or buy per picture) and it was over $500!!!!!! The b*tch working at the photo center must get off on making kids cry because when you call her out on the ridiculous prices, she shuts off the computer, takes her booklet, and says "ok good bye, there's the door". They do not negotiate at all because they know you have no other option. It's truly heartless. How insulting after we just spent $800 just on the tickets for a 30 min SHARED experience. They allow observers who are not doing the dolphin experience but they conveniently put them far away from where the dolphins are so it's impossible for them to take any pictures or video. Note: females you are NOT allowed to have anything in your hair such as hair ties or clips which there is no mention online or even when you check in. They don't give a reason why and it really sucked because the day we went it was super windy and our hair went everywhere ruining a lot of the photos plus making it hard to see in the water with hair in your face. My poor daughter had to take out her cute braids :/ Many other great and reasonable experiences. Go elsewhere and do NOT support Cabo adventures. Shame on you guys. UPDATE: I'd like to respond to the manager Lorena who tries to justify these ridiculous prices instead of listening to her customers' feedbacks and making adjustments. No, it's not optional to get the photos because what's the point of doing this experience if you do not have pictures to keep as memories? Yes, I understand there's safety regulations about not having cameras with us in the pool but forcing bystanders not in the pool to be over 100 ft away to take pictures which will be blurring, you leave us no choice but to purchase the photos. Nobody is asking for free photos but charging $500 is a scam. Even Disneyland only charges $80 for unlimited photos for a whole week! And respect gets respect. After spending over $800, YOUR employee is the one who was disrespectful to me first with her attitude about the price and not even trying to talk to your supervisor or work something out with me. Clearly, you only care about profit, not about customers leaving happy or having a good experience.

The sky pool here is one of my favorite places to visit, the vibes are immaculate and the views are stunning. Windy enough usually to keep you cool but still feel warm. This property sits at the side of hill, which affords you stunning views of the Pacific. Our room was thankfully not too far from the lobby, which is convenient if you don't feel like going in the golf cart. As we checked in, I was not amazed by the suite that we got. The view is the greatest highlight of the room but everything else leaves much to be desired. Cons Hotel room decor is minimal and outdated. Barely any outlets, I had to move the nightstand to get to the one outlet that's next to the bed. One of the outlets in the bathroom wasn't working. Walls in the toilet room need to be wiped down. Mildew noted in the shower. Vent needed some cleaning. Shower water wasn't too hot and the bathroom sink was dripping. Bed is hard and pillows are flat. Meat and cheese platter via room service. This wasn't the greatest. Barely any bread and the turkey was deli meat. WiFi is super slow!!!!! Pros - The views are stunning! Customer service around the property is pretty good. Drinks at the wedding were delicious. Loved that they handed out foam glow sticks at the reception. Golf carts come pretty regularly to take you to your destination. Shuttle service available to and from the airport. I enjoyed myself at the wedding reception and food was decent although the Chicken Provençal was a bit dry. There was also barely dressing on the salad. Property is beautiful but I wouldn't stay here again since the price point is not worth the suite that we stayed at.

Wow. Just wow. 5 stars all around!!!!…read more I don't have a single complaint about the Waldorf which really blew my mind. Yes it is quite pricey but for once, the price is justified by the impeccable customer service, room quality, and maintenance of this resort. It is the perfect blend of modern and elegance and screams luxury without trying too hard. It's close to the marina as well so easy access to other restaurants, shopping, and tours. We stayed at a 3 bedroom villa and the week flew by. The rooms were spacious, well kept, clean, and stocked with everything you need. We had our own private plunge pool to soak in whenever we wanted to. You are greeted upon arrival with a welcome drink and they gifted the kids an adorable sugar turtle cookie when we departed! They offer sample drinks and popsicles at the pools. Their attention to detail is flawless and everything is well thought out. The resort has an adults only pool, a family infinite pool overlooking the ocean, and another swallow kids pool. Plenty of lounge chairs and was never too busy. The food was fantastic from the poolside kitchen to the on site property restaurants to the private chefs. Honestly some of the best food I've had in my life. The spa is world class and I highly recommend it. We had some of the best nail service, massages, and facials ever. Everyone is well trained and very skilled and experienced in their area of expertise. They have complimentary golf carts that take you anywhere on the property and we never had to wait for one. Everyone is so friendly, inviting, and professional. I truly appreciated everyone's hospitality and warmth. The best part was our private butler who cooked our meals, arranged all activities and transportation off the property, did laundry, and even found our missing shoes that flew across the resort! lol. Our butler Ricardo was amazing and such a delight to have. This is a once in a lifetime experience that everyone must indulge in. It's worth it.

It also comes with a fire place, which comes in handy at night. The room is also equipped with binoculars for whale watching, very thoughtful. The service was top tier, better than Ritz Carlton and other Wardolf location I've stayed at. You get a personal concierge that can help you with whatever you need 24/7. Shout out to my concierge Raquel, she made the stay so much smoother. The location is prime. Walking distance from a lot of restaurants, bars, and clubs. Hence I would have given 4 stars because of this. I was expecting a much better informative tour with the marine biologist. However, in general, she didn't cut short our time and they did speed a long to various areas whenever we saw a spout of water blow up. And, in general, had a great time seeing e humpback whales- we saw one full breach too. I think we may have seen about 20 in January 2026. I heard Cabo is the best place to see the humpback whales and from December through March. I would reccomend the blow up boats as you can get much closer. We were in a small boat with about 8 people but I saw videos of people in the blow up boats that could actually touch the whales if they wanted to. Would have liked this better I think. Also, we forgot our water bottle in the boat afterwards and the company was very customer service oriented in helping us restrict the water bottle. Thank you for a great first time experience in Cabo and seeing humpback whales!

The tour was good, we didn't even need to take photos because Victoria had a giant camera to do it for us. This way, we can really enjoy the natural settings of the Whale habitat. Towards the end of our tour, we were able to see 8 whales swimming together. Victoria said there are 7 are males chasing 1 female to see who would end up 'dating' her, aka - put a baby in her. Mating season was in the air and we got to see that. Best excursion ever! Private small tour. I'm happy to say, they followed sealife protocol and didn't get too close to harm the whales and there were only a few boats out for whale watching. It didn't feel commercial.
