I love the girls and the service but it is the second week that I get gel and the color last less than 3 days!!!! I go every twoo week and this is so upsetting This is how it looks after only 3 days. So disappointed.

I came based on Yelp reviews, and I'd have to say, I half agree. Lisa is truly quick and efficient with waxing. But I have to put out there that it was hard to understand her, which was a little intimidating for someone who has only had a handful of waxings done. The price is certainly right - big points there. I guess I'm saying I wasn't as comforted as some people say they were. She didn't make me feel badly or anything, but I wasn't always sure of what was going on. For example, at the end, it took me a while to realize she was done, so then I felt rushed out of the room. I'd recommend a waxing here perhaps for someone who's more experienced with waxing.

This is what my mani looked like after not even 2 days. Went back to see if they would correct it and they wouldn't. Rude.

I am really disappointed to be writing a bad review. I went there a few times and I had pretty good experiences and I thought this was a solid nail salon for the price in my neighborhood. I went back recently for a manicure/pedicure and within 2 days the nail polish on my manicure chipped really bad so I thought I would go back and see if they would do a complimentary polish change since it had only been 2 days since I was in, I have been a pretty regular customer and I hadn't done any activity with my hands besides work at my computer for 2 days. They were so rude about it and told me it was my fault it chipped and said they would do the polish change but still charge me the $5 fee (plus tip of course). I won't be back. Not only are they rude but bad business people. Just so ridiculous. Better to lose $5 now than lose potential hundreds of dollars on future stop ins, right?

top coat peeling off after 5 hours after leaving... and notice the bad file job on the back finger. :(

DO NOT GO HERE. I only went here this week on Thursday evening because they were open later than my go-to place. I had the guilt of cheating on my perfect place (Queen A, down the road) - but it was my only available time to go. I get powder gel and it typically lasts in PERFECT form from 3-4 weeks. By FRIDAY night, not even 24 HOURS LATER a nail broke. (My real nails have grown long and beautiful and now one breaks after 6 months of growing). On Saturday morning, a 2nd nail broke. I had an important day and not only did I have no time to go back but then i looked sloppy at my Maid of Honor dress shopping appointment. Saturday evening I was finally able to go back in. Asked for a refund, because if 2 of 10 of my nails broke, who knows what is next. They refused and insisted on fixing instead. Said it would take 20 min, it took closer to an hour. Fast forward to now, 4 HOURS LATER - one of my nails starting peeling the top coat off. I am sure this isn't the end of this saga but all I can say is I will never go back.

This place is way to expensive for what it offers. They focus way to much on the extras and not enough on what you went there for. I wanted. Gel mani and regular pedi, it cost about $20 more than any other place in the neighborhood and chipped after 12 hours. They spend all their time worrying about where the hot towels are or what pillows are one your chair than focusing on their job.

They charge Manhattan prices but can't back it up. I got acrylic tips and the man that did my nails sucked. I kept having to point out his mistakes like the fact that the acrylic did not cover my entire nail, he filed all of my nails in different shapes, and how every nail was streaky. At a certain point I just gave up and wanted to leave. When my nails finally dried the paint job looked like crap and half of nails looked like bubbles. If I wanted crappy looking nails I could have done it myself.

Been their client for a long time, writing a review with a 1 star because their service is just getting worst and yet they jack up their prices! 18$ for a regular pedi n 10$ for regular meni total 28$ n with tip $38.00 Wtf, for this price the service must be perfect but today n last visit was horrible. They have all new staff who just dont know wat they're doing. My meni n pedi looks like I did it at home .

    Chipped nails within 24hrs

I haven't gone back to Eve's nail salon in 3 years -- ever since Jack left and I should have known better. I ONLY went in because I know they tend to order the new collection and I was in search of a particular color. Of course they had everything but that color so i decided to do a cateye nails. I did the nail on a Friday afternoon and by NEXT day afternoon my gel polish chipped in multiple fingers. You can tell something is wrong with the polish--cheap or water down. After spending $70 i will not be going back. The whole point of gel polish is that it lasts. What a waste or time and money.

Had my gels done in CNP 89 by a new nail tech, Kelly very sweet, patient and perfectionist. Will come back to Kelly.

I've read a few reviews and as I client for more than 5 years, I'll definitely say that Eve's has got its crazy but yet great moments. Price point is definitely great. It is a business so of course they will always try to see if you may be interested in a special spa or treatment deal. Just be polite to the nail techs, it's just part of their job. I must admit that since there are a lot of new nail techs and the fact that they have been switching them between manis/pedis even while you are getting it done...is definitely something that MUST be improved. Lately, I've had to remind the girls to give me the hot paraffin wrap which is still included in their standard pedicure. It's definitely annoying that the nails techs get taken away from you at a moments notice. I will say that I do have my favorite techs and as a repeat customer, I would love to have the same tech for both my mani and pedi. Best time to go is immediately when they open or as early as possible. Early in weekdays are the best...no customer traffic and no rushing. I'd give EVEs 5 stars if they would just stop rushing the techs and/or switching them. Finally, there is a new girl upfront which makes it more of a relaxed day at the salon. As well as when, I think one of the younger owners, is upfront. Everyone seems to complain about Eves management being rude, but I've had issues and addresses it politely to management and they've always helped me out at no extra cost. It's all about manners and courtesy. If Eve's does get busy just go to Athena's it's the same owner and the mani or pedi is just a few dollars more. FYI it's always packed!!

That's a week after getting a gel manicure. So disappointing. Their gel polish must be watered down because this is truly disappointing

Terrible nail salon. Untrained nail techs just to do a regular mani pedi which costs 40$ by the way. Avoid !

I walked in for a quick 30 min massage. They said they had availability and took me into a room. As the lady was 10 minutes into my massage I hear what seems to be the manager on the phone enter my room. She taps me on the head in the middle of my massage and asks if I had an appointment. I was so shocked and startled. I said no and she told me "you have 15 min, ok". She walked out while still be on the phone. This gagged me. I told her she was so rude for interrupting a massage that was already in progress. I paid and left and Im fuming at my experience. DO NOT get a massage here.

It's also $55 for an hour long massage though and you can do smaller 10 or 20 minute increments. Overall I liked it and felt it was a good deal and will be back. Some negatives are they answered a few phone calls while I was getting a massage. It was the same person working the front as giving the massage so answered two calls and also stopped and went in front when someone arrived. The pressure was a bit hard for my taste, I asked for softer but then gradually got harder. Overall quick and convenient and I'll be back.

Really glad I did! It was a painful massage but in the best possible way. It was like getting a massage in China. It hurt but every thing the guy was doing was with intention. Some of the places in LA are just being lazy just patting you down giving you half their attention or one time they just tried to flatten me like pizza dough. I consider that a waste of time and money. My masseuse was really searching for every knot and tried with a hefty amount of strength to work through it. It was exactly what I needed but I can imagine some people just not being able to take it. Imagine a knot being found in your back and then just someone shoving their elbow in it and hearing loud popping. It was sooooo therapeutic and I'm still sore a few days later but feeling so loose and without any real tension. It's like a weight is lifted all my shoulders. Pretty sure you can ask for a lighter massage. I heard a guy next to me say 6 out of 10 so I'm sure lighter massages are available. Can't repeat this enough, I'm going back again!
