I picked a good day to visit Evie's, today (Thursday) was Burger Day. For $8 you get a burger with lettuce, tomato, and onion plus a side. I added cheese for an extra buck and picked their house-made chips as my side. The Angus burger was very good, tasty, and the chips excellent. Each day during the week is a special day of one thing or another. In a hurry? It only took 6 minutes from the time I ordered my food until it was sitting in front of me. Evie's actually has a pretty large menu, offering pizzas, sandwiches, a list of salads, several starters, and a few miscellaneous items. They also have a pretty large number of TVs. They have seating inside and more outside by the driving range. My server and bartender both did a good job, my drink was never empty and as soon as I finished eating, I got my check.

    Coated fries

We were there on a night when large cheese pizza was only $11. The crust was thin and lightly sauced with a good amount of cheese. Nothing spectacular so I think we got what we paid for. Shared a basket of fries that had a crunchy coating but they weren't seasoned. Maybe next time we try something else. Service was good. Enjoyed ice cream after dinner while listening to live music near the driving range

I've known this place for many years and it's hard to describe how I feel about it. It has so much suburban charm - with it having many games for the family and food. It really is a kinda local mediocre Chuck E. Cheese. The place is huge with a driving range, mini putt, arcade, ice cream parlor, restaurant, car wash, and other games. Really great to watch sports and entertain the kids. But you know it's mediocre - which adds the charm. Mozzarella sticks were not crispy but that's fine. Pizza was actually not bad, just a little greasy but that's fine. This place does a lot and I think they're an example of quantity over quality and honestly I'm grateful that this place as an option exists. Sometimes I don't need to get the best chicken quesadilla - I just want to be at a local sports bar surrounded by energy and loud noises. I think they know they're not the epitome of quality in anything, and don't stress over it. Which adds to the charm again. They're a great local staple providing cheap jobs for teens and mid entertainment to families. And I'm okay with that!

First time here. Seems like a fun plan for family. Sand box outside. Arcade room. Cash is needed for the arcade room. Pool table. Back of Evies is the golf course. I came here for an event. I didn't really order food. I had pizza. The pizzas were good.

Undercooked wings, burnt boneless wings. Complete opposite of what I ordered.

This place has been given so many opportunities and they cannot ever get it right. $66 after fees for a $32 pizza, and two orders of wings. I ordered boneless wings, mild. I also ordered regular wings and requested extra crispy, overdone. Instead I get literally BURNT boneless wings and undercooked regular wings. why would anyone order overdone boneless wings? Is anyone using their brain? I call and I'm immediately told "Can you hold" and put on hold without even letting me answer. I'm done with this place. Absolutely ridiculous.

Wings 10 pieces. Good wings but WTF?

Went to watch FSU vs Tenn. baseball and took 30 minutes to get 10 wings. Come on Evies. There wasn't even 40 people in the place. I get it when you have 200 kids playing football in the back and their parents are trying to eat, but 40 people 10 pm on a Friday????

This is a good hangout spot with friends. They have plenty of TVs to watch sports, a nice outdoor bar, and driving range to show off your golf skills. I like going here because there are a few activities to choose from. They have quite a few options for food; something for everyone. I've tried a number of items on their menu, and the pizza and Stromboli are our favorite. While this is a solid choice any day of the week if you want a chill place to go, be sure to check out their daily specials to find your favorite day.

Learning how to play and enjoying the day!

1 Star - Extremely Unsanitary and Unacceptable…read more I had a very concerning experience at Miller's Ale House in Sarasota. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Dunk and waited quite a while for my food. When it finally arrived, I thought the long wait was the only issue. A few minutes later, a gentleman from another table came over and told me that his girlfriend had originally been served my food. She had ordered her meal without cheese, realized it was the wrong order, and had already picked at the food with her hands before giving it back to the waitress. According to him, his girlfriend specifically told the waitress that it was the wrong order and returned it. Instead of having the kitchen remake the meal, that same plate was then brought to me and served as my food. That is completely unacceptable and, more importantly, extremely unsanitary. Once food has been served to another customer and handled at their table, it should never be taken back and served to someone else. I really appreciate the gentleman coming over and telling me what happened because otherwise I would have had no idea. This wasn't simply an incorrect order or slow service--it was a serious food-handling and sanitation issue. I hope management addresses this with the staff immediately. Customers should be able to trust that the food placed in front of them has not already been served to and handled by another customer. If you want, I can also make it a little more aggressive and attention-grabbing for Yelp, while keeping it factual so management can't easily dismiss it.

The outdoor portion was recently remodeled and looks awesome! There is plenty of parking surrounding the restaurant and adjacent, as it is nestled into the front end of a shopping area. We had a most enjoyable meal and experience at Madfish Grill. Service and food quality were top notch, not to mention we had a specialty from New England you cannot find most places, fried clam strips. I am picky with fried food and do not get it often and the clam strips we dined on as an appetizer had a light batter and were a real treat. It was a Tuesday and we opted for something off their Taco Tuesday special menu--fresh-made chips and guacamole to start were excellent. I really enjoyed my bowl I got as a meal, the ingredients were fresh and the combination of flavors were on point. My dining partner ordered a fish sandwich that was generously portioned and made out of a fish you traditionally only find in New England. Our server, her name sadly escapes me, was really excellent and on top of our orders, refilling water and drinks, and our requests. She has been there for fifteen years she relayed to us when I asked, which is a testament to what type of place this is. If you're looking for solid seafood in a nice atmosphere check out Madfish Grill. They have lots of specials and features to check out that can give you new options for every visit. I will return for sure to try more of the menu!

We asked if the fried egg that comes with the dish was sunny-side up and were told no, it would be fully cooked and the kitchen would not accommodate a sunny-side-up egg. That seemed unusually inflexible, but we said fine and ordered it as is. When the food arrived, the chicken was clearly not blackened. It was pale, with virtually no visible seasoning. Our waiter actually tried to tell us that the blackening had "fallen off in the sauce." We've had blackened chicken many times, and this simply wasn't blackened. To make matters worse, the egg that was supposed to come with the dish was missing entirely. We asked for the manager, who looked at the chicken and agreed that the blackening had washed off agreed that it did not appear to be blackened. He took it back, and the kitchen eventually sent out properly blackened chicken. Fair enough. But then the manager returned and tried to insist that the kitchen said the original chicken had been blackened and the seasoning had somehow come off in the sauce, even though he had just agreed with us that there was no seasoning on it. I've order this exact dish before, this chicken was not blackened and it could not have been more obvious. We then asked about the missing egg. After another trip to the kitchen, the manager told us we weren't getting one because the kitchen had already scrambled it. We had never asked for a scrambled egg and the menu called for a fried egg, so that made no sense. Apparently, because they had already cooked the egg incorrectly, the kitchen refused to cook another one. I've never met a more weak manager, totally terrified of the kichen. At that point my husband had had enough and sent his meal back. What surprised us most was the manager's reaction. He didn't apologize, offer another dish, or ask if my husband wanted anything else. He simply said okay and walked away. A customer came in for dinner, ended up with no dinner at all, and the manager seemed completely unconcerned about it, and was happy to lose a customer rather than cook an egg. My tacos weren't much better. They arrived cold, and the pork was extremely dry. Thankfully I had ordered a side of guacamole, because otherwise the pork would have been almost impossible to eat. Even with that, I eventually gave up. Mistakes happen in restaurants, and we understand that. What made this experience so disappointing was the kitchen's complete inflexibility and the manager's unwillingness to resolve what should have been several very simple problems. Unfortunately, instead of enjoying dinner, one of us barely ate and the other ended up with no meal at all. Will they see us again? Highly unlikely.
