I added cheese for an extra buck and picked their house-made chips as my side. The Angus burger was very good, tasty, and the chips excellent. Each day during the week is a special day of one thing or another. In a hurry? It only took 6 minutes from the time I ordered my food until it was sitting in front of me. Kids had $20.00 in quarters that they decided to use elsewhere due to the deplorable condition of the pinball, air hockey and probably all the other unmaintained games. The trouble began in the game room first there was a family, father mother I assume, and there was 6 to 8 kids under the age of 12 running rough shot over the entire building. They wouldn't leave my grandson alone every time he got on a game they wanted to take it away from him. We're trying to be nice. The parents are doing absolutely nothing. Two of the games he played would not take the correct amount of money ,when we talk to the young lady upfront she came over and fixed it and give us a credit we had put three dollars in and she give us credit for one dollar. OK not a big deal yet so then we got $20 worth of quarters or tokens whatever you wanna call it one of these little hooligans stole a stack of quarters off the table we were at. Then They had a T ball inside, kicking it back-and-forth playing kickball in the room. My wife talked again to the two young ladies behind the ice cream counter. It's a game room. What do you want us to do about it? Really? How's about your job! not 10 minutes later my grandson gets hit in the head with this ball. I'll tell you what the hell I want you to do. Charlie the manager was very unprofessional and childlike. My kids were playing and having fun and laughing maybe a little too loud. Charlie the manager aggressively walks up and uses both hands to gesture and point at the "KIDS SUPERVISION" sign. He screams "I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE OBVIOUS." I've known this place for many years and it's hard to describe how I feel about it. It has so much suburban charm - with it having many games for the family and food. It really is a kinda local mediocre Chuck E. Cheese. The place is huge with a driving range, mini putt, arcade, ice cream parlor, restaurant, car wash, and other games. Really great to watch sports and entertain the kids. But you know it's mediocre - which adds the charm. Mozzarella sticks were not crispy but that's fine. Pizza was actually not bad, just a little greasy but that's fine. This place does a lot and I think they're an example of quantity over quality and honestly I'm grateful that this place as an option exists. Sometimes I don't need to get the best chicken quesadilla - I just want to be at a local sports bar surrounded by energy and loud noises. I have given this place a try several times over the last two years. The bad: The service is still mediocre at best, regardless of where you sit. Inside, the staff talks to each other more than customers. Outside, the service is better but not much personality overall. The food is just OK. The chicken dip isn't worth it. It tastes like mushed chicken with taco seasoning and sour cream. The golf range is half sand and looks like no one has done anything to it in over a year. I have never seen a manager make any type of rounds to ask how things are going, help staff, or even help with changing channels on the TV. One thing is consistent... the staff has favorites for their customers, and they get served first. Staff also takes shots with each other behind the bar. This place has the potential to be awesome with a big overhaul in the day-to-day, but hard to think that will happen. The good: The outside venue is nice with several TV's and shaded areas with plenty of seating. Plenty of parking. The jalapeño poppers are pretty good.
