I have been taking my bike to EVO for several years now. A friend of mine in the neighborhood told me how their prices beat dealership prices, and how you were treated with respect, like you were the most important person on the planet. I needed a 5000k service, and thought I'd check it out. Troy treated my bike like it was his own, that to me was very important. Their 5000k service included everything from soup to nuts. In other words, more than any dealership. When I got the bill, I told Troy, I asked him if that was correct, as it seemed too low,...as I am an honest person and want to pay my fair share, he said that it was...sold...customer for life! Last winter I left my bike with Troy for another 5,000k service, to have the top end rebuilt, and to install a Ginz sissy bar with brackets and to have the brackets and fender supports powdercoated black. Quite a laundry list of things to do. When the bike was finished, it was mid winter, I told Troy that I wanted to ride it home, he said no problem, come and get it when you want to. There was one day in February when the weather was in the 50's. I told Troy that I wanted to come and pick it up, no problem. I thought that I would have to pay for storage at least while the bike was there, Troy said no. I was very pleased with the job that EVO did, and I could tell that Troy was too, as he told me how everyone in the shop enjoyed looking at the bike when it was finished. To be fair, I would immediately say that Troy did fix my bike. But here is where my satisfaction with the service at EVO ends!!! And I will never go there again! And I suggest that you think twice before going there. I contacted EVE Cycle right after Bike Week'14. My car mechanic referred me to them because I needed two tires. I did not go to Kawasaki (I have a Vulcan 750), or to MOM's because they were booked for a month in advance. My mechanic called Troy and handed me over the phone; I told Troy that I needed tires, and that my shaft drive was making loud clicking sound. Troy told me to bring my bike over as early as next day. I dropped the bike off on June 26th, 2014. The place is a dump...pretty sad because my mechanic told me that Troy takes pride in his work. Troy and some others listened to the loud noise, and immediately decided that it was the differential, and they told me they would order used parts right away. He asked me to put in a credit of $300 for the tires. That should have raised a red flag right away, but I prepaid. I did not hear from those guys and called them on July 21st. Troy said that they were still waiting for parts, and as soon as they got them they would do the job. It sounded as if they had ordered parts before they knew what really was wrong with the bike. I had to go away for 10 days, and when I returned I called EVO on August 5th. Troy said that the issue turned out to be more complex, and they were waiting for more parts. A week later I called again and he said that the following week he was hoping to get the job done. I was getting pretty frustrated. I even went to my mechanic for an advice because he was the one who referred me to EVO. He was shocked to hear that all this time my bike had been at the shop. And when I told him that Troy had not initiated even one phone call, the guy's jaw dropped. Anyway, on August 25th, 2014 I finally got a call from Troy that the bike was ready. I was so excited that I forgot to ask about the cost. You can imagine the hard attack I had when on Tuesday, August 26th, 2014, Troy presented me with a bill for $1,394 in addition to the credit of $300. He even had the audacity to ask me if I was going to pay in cash!!! Maybe I look like a drug dealer. Troy did not see anything wrong with the fact that he kept my bike for 2 months (the best riding months). He did not see anything wrong with the fact that he did not call me once, especially after he had found out that the issue was more complicated than initially thought. What mechanic just decides to start doing additional work, when the charges are piling up? We are not talking about $100. Motorcycles Of Manchester (MOM's) wanted to give me $1500 towards a trade in, and I thought that it would be much cheaper to fix the bike up. Troy started telling me ridiculous stories how he could not keep the bike on the lift while waiting for parts, and every time he took it off the lift it had to go back in line!!! He said something like "at what point should I call you". He was rambling how he could not remove the shaft the way he thought he would...and basically was giving me excuses why his labor was so expensive; and told me that when I had dropped my bike off, he already had 40 bikes waiting to be serviced...so why the hack he did not say that when I had called for an appointment?! Honestly, if I had the slightest idea how expensive the repair would have been, I would have traded in the bike, but that guy never mentioned anything about the cost, or about the duration of the service. I am very disappointed with EVO CYCLE; I feel I was ripped off; do not go there if you want to avoid poor service. read more

I called MOMs for work on my bike and they referred me to Troy at Evo. He was able to make time for my bike when its busy and offered exceptional service. I highly recommend going there for any and all bike needs. read more

Had Evo cycle mount 2 tires and inspect..upon getting my motorcycle back I heard a rubbing sound coming from the rear wheel...I called Evo and they told me to bring it back... upon doing so the rear wheel barrings failed. i called Evo from the side of the road and they picked me up. repairs were made so I thought. Rear wheel still rubbing. turns out Evo cycle FAILED to mount the rear wheel properly Twice!! Which is most likely why the barrings failed..Took the motorcycle to Manchester Harley where I was told the wheel was not aligned and spaced properly.. the rear pulley was rubbing the frame...I advise no one take their motorcycle to this incompetent mechanic. read more

I'm a long time fan and customer of Evo Cycle and you won't find a more honest shop, Sounds like Bob D is the moron who sent his poor fiancée in on her 2002 Yamaha R6 wit 2 bad tires no rear brakes, non functioning directionals, and leaking fork seals after telling her that all she needs is a set of tires to pass inspection.. so how does that make them responsible for for your lack of knowledge Bob?? I was there and witnessed the altercation between this moron and one of the highly talented mechanics at Evo.. Funny how they still honored the $320 installed price quote for the set of tires you came in for..and they solely pointed out why the R6 was uninspectable, not tried to up your bill.. Evo Cycle is loaded with talent and personality, they treat their customers as family, have better prices than anyone around..you're the type of customer that no shop should ever have to put up with.,.,MORON..And furthermore Bob D.. you weren't even the customer..your girlfriend even seemed highly irritated with you when it was clearly pointed out to you that her bike was unsafe..they weren't trying to screw you, they were honest, and did they jobs correctly and professionally and should never have had to deal with a no it all ( yet have no clue) idiot like yourself read more
