Avoid HK Motorsports in Hooksett, NH - Worst Experience Ever I had one of the worst customer experiences of my life at HK Motorsports. From start to finish, it was completely unprofessional and frustrating. I was told I could not test drive the vehicle, paid the deposit only to be left waiting three weeks just to have a tire changed. During that time, I received zero communication from them--not a single call or update. Meanwhile, I was told by the manager that he was taking the car out to "get a haircut." Completely disrespectful and unacceptable. When I finally got the car, they didn't offer a helmet or discount on accessories , didn't even thank me for the purchase, and to make it worse, I discovered serious safety issues: Hazard lights didn't work Traction control wasn't even connected This isn't even half of what went wrong. Sales department sucks. They seem to be confused on how to make a sale. Went to look at a Slingshot (unfortunately the one we wanted had been sold). Said we have 2 motorcycles to trade and we own them straight out, so paper work would be easy. Dont trust anything they say, double check everything. Bought a 2022 Can Am Outlander. Paid top dollar for the quad with 950miles. Salesman assured me all maintenance and service was done. Told me they won't even take them until after thorough inspection. I picked it up at dark so I didn't look it over as much as a should have. Doing a pre-ride check and found the oil had water in it. Waaaayyyy over full and tan colored, none of the Grease fittings had been greased, suspension bolts loose, winch sounds like it has rocks in it, and missing panel fasteners. Now they won't return my call or emails. If you have the option, go somewhere else! read more

My wife and I purchased a motorcycle. The purchase of the bike went fairly smooth Riding the bike home from the dealership, as I get on the highway just a few miles down the road from the dealership the low fuel light comes on.This really surprised me. I have never purchased a new vehicle that did not come with a full tank of gas, so I did not think to check, My wife called the next day and spoke to the salesman. She was told that they do not fill the gas tanks in anything that they sell because they are a small place and this would cost them a fortune. The problem I have is not that they did not fill the fuel tank, but that they do not feel it necessary tell the buyer. My wife was told that this was way to "get to know the bike" read more

I rolled my RZR 1000 xp and have been dealing with the insurance company and am repairing the machine myself my insurance needed me to get an estimate on a new rear frame section and how much to replace it in labor. So I went there to talk to the service department and they refused to help me stating they needed to see the machine. The two things I needed you can look up in a book so this would have taken then maybe 10mins. They stated that what if it needs more than what I am asking. Well then you write on the estimate that any extras will be an additional cost Simple. So when I got home I called Troy powersports and they faxed me the estimate no questions asked in 15mins and were very helpful about it. I actually bought my machine from them a yr ago because Hooksett powersports would not give me any kind of deal. Hooksett is 15mins from me and Troy powersports is almost 2 hrs away. Maybe I would have switched on my next purchase but they insured that Troy powersports will be getting ALL of my business in the future!(and I am buying another RZR for my son this yr and two sleds next yr) I am a business owner myself and know what it means to have good customer service because that is what builds a lasting business. We went in to purchase a brand new CF Moto side by side. We were greeted and worked with Aaron. I believe he said he was the finance guy. We went through the signing of paperwork and I noticed at the time he had a blank piece of paper blocking a page that we had signed. I thought nothing of it since I was just excited to get my new toy. Once we got home and I looked at the paper work, I noticed the payment was higher than it should be. I looked over it further and see that he added the "best" extended warranty to the deal after I had told him there was no way I want one. Also, as someone who has worked at a car dealer for 12 years, I know that they always explain the plan that you are signing for. I did contact the dealer and after some denial, they finally sent me a check for the amount charged, but it wasn't easy. We have since purchased 2 more atvs from one of their competitors and have not had any issues. Speaking to friends that have bought here, some had similar issues but they caught them at the time. Too bad that "salesman" ruined future business with them, I would have bought all our other atvs from them. read more

My husband purchased 2 quads (a Polaris 800 & 500 ) and a closed v-nosed trailer to tote them around in. On Saturday morning- 5/2/2015 we went in to register the new quads and the clerk at the parts counter was in need of customer service training... He told us there are no trails open in the whole of NH (something we researched the night before) In fact there are 3 open at the moment. When we told him this -he became extremely arrogant, stating he *knows* there are none open. My husband showed him the web-site with the open trails in NH and still he was rude. We went to the trail in Derry- the site was not wrong. See here's the thing, we spent around $17,000 on the quads and trailer and even after that, this is the customer service you can expect at HK.: Respect only given as you sign a sales agreement and then after you are not worth their time or effort - I would rather pay more someplace else and be treated better read more

If the owner conducts business anything like he drives, I'd stay far away. In a span of a few miles, I saw him cut about 5 cars off while pulling out of their parking lot, tailgated people, passed on a double yellow line, drove 60+ in a 40, and cut even more people off at merges and lane drops. All this while towing a 30' snowmobile trailer. If it wasn't the owner driving, then they sure made a poor choice of who they have driving for them. read more

I was approved to finance a snowmobile and I signed all the paperwork. When my boyfriend (whose name was not on the financing) went in on the scheduled day to pick it up for me, the sales person disclosed my personal, private financial data to him. He explained that they weren't going to honor the contract and that if I wanted the sled, I'd have to come in to sign a new set of paperwork AND bring $2,200. Bait and switch? Yup. Because no one there called to tell ME this, I called them. They confirmed all of it. They violated my rights by disclosing my financial status to an unapproved third party and won't honor the contract they had me sign. If I want the sled, I have to throw out the first contract and bring them $2,200. Unreal. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. read more

Went to HK Powersports Hookset with a used 2001 SeaDoo I had just purchased used. I wanted to get the full service done before using it. Told this package was $250 and they went through what was included. No problem, go for it. Received a call that day saying that when they had removed the impeller housing to inspect the impeller (included in service) they noticed that the wear ring and impeller were damaged and needed to be replaced. Kurt in the service department was nice enough to send me a picture via email of the damage. I asked what the cost would be for this. He said that it would be about $600. I told him I needed to think about it. He said they would leave it apart but finish the rest of the service. That night I sent Kurt an e-mail to do the work but that since they had already taken the housing apart to inspect I didn't expect that I would get charged full labor for the repair. Called Kurt the next morning to make sure he had gotten my email. He said he had and he agreed that since the DO NOT have flat rate pricing (charge hourly for service) that he did not expect that it would cost the full $600. Satisfied that they were being reasonable I told him to continue with the work. Next day at 11:19 am I called HK to see if the work was being done and what the cost was. Was told it was next up on the list to work on. OK Received a call at 2:09 pm and told the work was done. OK I will pick up. Picked up the next day. Cost....wait for it. $840. $250 for Service. $590 for replacement of wear ring and impeller. So extremely close to the initial estimate of $600 it was scary. I asked to see the bill. Lists 3.3 hrs labor for wear ring and impeller. This does not make sense I explained. I told him that the impeller housing was already taken apart for the flat rate service. I had seen a picture of it. He explained that it really only took about 15-20 minutes to take apart the housing. It was the replacement that took the real time. At this point I new I was being scammed. I explained my phone calls as noted above and the time between them was only 2 hrs 50 min. How could I be being charged for 3 hrs and 15 minutes? This also assumes that they started work immediately after they got off the phone with me and that they called me the second they finished. Oh, and that they worked through lunch on it. Oh, and that I shouldn't be charged the time it would take to disassemble the housing and reassemble since that was part of the service package anyway! So by my math....25 minutes(between call time and charged time) + 30 min.(time I was told it takes to remove impeller housing and put back on)+30 min.(lunch) I was overcharged by almost 1 hour 30 minutes. More likely closer to 2 hours since I assumed work started and stopped exactly at call times(unlikely). I didn't go into this much detail with the employee as I had my 4 year old with me and you know how that can be. I did explain that the hours didn't add up. He went into the back for a few minutes. He came back and said that the technician has added the extra time it took him for the service package into the impeller replacement. I told him that this was not right. The service was a flat fee of $250. I asked how long it typically took for a service. He said about 1.5 hours. Lo and behold labor time for the service was noted as 1.5 hours...what added time then? Even if it did take longer it should not be added onto another line item service! SCAMMERS!!!! The service guy asked incredulously if I was arguing about a 1/2 hour? Ummm....at $85 bucks and hour labor charge...YES! He took off 1/2 hour of labor cost (should have been more like 1 1/2 hours) but that was not the whole point of my arguing. VERY SHADDY PRACTICES! Would never recommend this place! If you have to get work done there check your BILL!!!!! Clarification- Complete Service was explained as a Flat Rate of $250 not hourly. read more
