Other company's I called weren't helpful and I felt like a bother. Here it was just the opposite. I rented a dunk tank and the process was a breeze. I reserved the dunk-tank a few weeks in advance and wasn't charged until it was picked up, that simple. Nothing pushy just helpful patient associates. The condition of the dunk tank was great, and the pricing was very reasonable. Although I myself didn't set it up was told it was very simple. Also, the tank came with everything. Everyone raved about how different and fun the dunk tank was and how my cookout literally was a hit! I will gladly rent from this company again. Thank you!

He told us his team probably took the wrong tent for us (a tent they use for "work"). We never heard back from the owner and so by 10:30 pm the night before our afternoon party, my husband was power washing their tent. Owner never called, came by, or tried to make it right. Wouldn't recommend and am disappointed in how the owner didn't care.

I…read morehad to move the time up half an hour after I had booked the party, I called five days before to request the time change and Matt was able to accommodate my request graciously. I was also concerned as on the Monday before the party (Friday afternoon party), the forecast was calling for rain. Matt said they could do laser tag in the rain, but not thunder/lightening and he gave me the option of switching to the video game truck. He also allowed me until the day before the party to make the decision about which way to go as the truck was available. It ended up being a beautiful sunny day and the kids had a ball. The person who set up the laser tag and ran the games for the boys was super nice and good with the kids. They didn't bring inflatable blinds (which would have taken forever to blow up anyway) but had a bunch of pop-up tent type blinds and some folding tables that the kids could hide behind. Really quite cool.

They also knew our venue (Museum of Science Boston) very well, so were able to make recommendations on lighting enhancements to ensure the night was perfect. I shared a lighting package with another bride to help with the expense so it took a while at our end to compromise on shared lighting features. In the end, everything worked out fine but I found the communication to be seriously lacking with this company. My emails and phone calls with questions/concerns would constantly go unanswered and it was only after several attempts to contact them that I would get a response. It was very frustrating as a bride with all the other million things going on in my life at the time! Finally, I had a face to face meeting with both Len and Sandy, the new(ish) assistant at Design Light. From that meeting we finalized the lighting we required, including uplights, Chinese lanterns, bee lights etc. All was fine in those last few weeks leading up to the wedding, except the day before our wedding my husband was dropping material off at the reception venue and noticed that some of the specified lighting we requested (and already paid for) was not in place. Just to be sure (in case they hadn't gotten to it yet) I called Len/Sandy and sure enough they forgot to do it! Luckily we caught it in time so that it could be done before our wedding the next day. Still, if my husband hadn't noticed, what then? It was especially frustrating because I had already paid for everything in full and had no reason not to expect that everything would be done as planned! It really wasn't all bad because in the end the lighting looked fantastic and technically they did a great job of designing and making the venue look beautiful. Len and Sandy are both really nice, great people but it was just their lack of communication and attention to detail that got to me. In terms of price they are cheaper than other companies I looked into (particularly ALPS), but lighting is not a cheap thing especially after the labor and transportation costs are figured in. Even though they lacked in the communication area, it still made the most sense for me, at that reception venue, to use them because they are there for events ALL the time. However, if I was having a reception elsewhere I would be a little more wary of using them.

They billed me for a 1500 gallon tank when I told them it was 1000 gallons. 6 months later my tank was overflowing coming to find out that it had never even been pumped. I called a different company and they confirmed that there's no way my tank was pumped 6 months ago. I've tried contacting them for some kind of compensation but the person in charge of billing is never around. How convenient. I would stay clear of this company.
