I love their wine! I even joined their wine club. I look forward to fun events that they organize when you are a wine club member. Hood River is a fun place, you can tour about five tasting rooms and a few breweries all within walking distance from each other. We went as a group and had a beautiful ride through the gorge and ended up having a lot of fun at this tasting room to end the afternoon. Very good. I liked their wines even though the names and descriptions were a little uncomfortable - hey, is it my fault that I don't like to talk about sex to complete strangers? :) And, I'm a fan of sweet wines, but their sweet flight kind of tested my palate for sweetness. Our pourer (blonde gal) knew a lot about the wines, but her backup (guy with scraggly brown hair) kept having to check the list to see what was in each wine. All in all, I did buy 2 bottles, and the blonde also sent me across the street to The Pines to buy a bottle of their Ice Wine Chardonnay, so it was a good stop! read more

Okay.... let me first start out by saying this is truly only my second wine tasting. We walked in to the establishment greeted by a happy elf holding the door. The music immediately drew me back to my high school years and set the mood. Our tasting host Taylor was on the ball. This guy knows his wines and knows people. I am a HUGE Naked Winery fan. The staff is always super friendly, the environment is upbeat and the wine is awesome. As a wine club member, I was at the pick-up party that Christine D. is referencing below. The operative word is PARTY ...and boy the place was hopping! For context, Naked has 3 rooms for tasting, all of which were packed that day. Lara the Wine Club Manager had cheese, crackers and live music for us to enjoy while we mingled with our wine club friends. Also, during the event there was even a news crew there doing interviews with club members and of course, Lara. As Wine Club Manager, Lara is the hostess with the mostess. I have never known her to be anything accommodating, friendly, creative, energetic, and super fun. The events she plans for club members are the absolute reason I continue to be a member at Naked. For those who enjoy the wine but are short on time, call Lara ahead of time and I am sure she will create an alternative pick-up time to meet your needs. However, if you are attending a pick-up party event, plan for more than 30 minutes, plan on mingling with some great people, plan to sit back and enjoy a glass of Naked and... plan to PARTY! read more

I stopped in because my boyfriend was across the street 'shopping', yes i am that woman that hates shopping.....I was telling the guy, how we'd love to stay but couldn't find a room under $300. He instantly got on the phone and called hotels for me. I kept saying, where am I? (meaning because who does that anymore for you). What a cute little place with some really good wines surprisingly. Fun atmosphere and staff is very knowledgable. They give you a little bowl of goldfish and little bowl of chocolates to munch on. You can do regular flights or sweet wine flights. They listen to your taste choices too and rearrange the wines on the flight lists. Which is a huge plus. We ordered a cheese plate and a huge one with crackers and dried fruit came. It had some sort of smokey cheese which was amazing, later we found out that it was blue cheese! But didn't taste like that at all. If you're in Hood River, this place is a must for a wine lover! read more

Our goal this evening was to take a walking tour of Hood River and visit three different establishments. We had hoped to do some wine tasting, eat dinner, and then finish with cocktails and dessert. Our first stop of the evening was at the Naked Winery. It was still early, around 4:30 when we arrived. The inside of the tasting room was fun with paintings of scantily clad women done in a pinup style lining the walls. There was ample seating and a nice bar with what looked like three people working. After looking around we took seats at the bar and waited...and waited. We sat for about ten minutes without an acknowledgment from the bartender who was busy laughing and talking to another group at the bar. This moved from beyond poor service to rude. There were still empty tables and seats at the bar so there really was no excuse for this service. As for their wine, we have no idea as we left without being served. Fortunately the rest of the evening went wonderfully. As for Naked Winery, we will never return. read more

Naked is fun and a great place to stop, if you are not a member. Becoming a memeber is great for the discounts, free tastings, and wine, however, the service changes. When they want you to join they over pour, are super friendly, and offer great service. However, after you become a member the service goes way down. Sometimes it even feels that you are ignored. The wine is good, but I've had a lot better on Oregon. Naked ended up being my favorite winery that I tasted while in Oregon. While it was a hokey kind of experience, with scantily written, seductive, and even "erotic" descriptions inscribed on each label, the liquid inside the bottle actually happened to be the best part of my visit. Their Outdoor Wine line in plastic bottles have doubled in price. Run of the mill reds at $40 and $45. And they dared to price a very mediocre Tempranillo at $80!! Seriously people! Very lightweight wines for our taste. Did buy the sparking Riesling to make mimosas but all the others were lacking. They're idea of bold obviously didn't jive with ours but that's our palate & others may enjoy it. Would I buy an Orgasmic Zin vs a Turley Zin - Turley for sure. read more

Servers? were not overly knowledgeable but were friendly and did their best to wait on everyone. So here is the deal about Naked. It's a lot of fun. You laugh at all the names of the wines, you, make childish comments based on the name of the wines. You appreciate that $8 covers 8 tastings and you get to keep the glass. However, this is not very complex wine. If you are looking for the traditional experience of discussing the wine and tasking for the flavors you will probably be disappointed. Most of the wine had one solid note but isn't very complex in flavor, no legs here unless you count the silhouettes of naked women everywhere. My friend has the sweet tasting, I chose the dry. Sweet was definitely the was to go. The blended sweets are good, we liked the sundress the best. However, the Pinot Noir and several of the drier reds were awful. Fun for summer or bachelorette parties. Not great for winos. read more

I can't recall the names of the wine, but the sparkling wine (not in the sweet flight) was definitely my favorite! They also had some wines in some plastic bottles that encourage people to take them on picnics or other outdoor events which I found to be a very clever idea!
