Fraudulent billing…read more Watch out for these fraudsters. I had Arctic over to look at a heating issue. Their tech was in my house for no more than 20 minutes. I received a bill for 1.5 hours. When I called them, their rude representative claimed their GPS said he was at my house for one hour and 27 minutes. Then she hung up on me. I then check my Ring doorbell camera and got the video evidence. I wrote the company and then got a call from a "manager" who claimed their rep didn't argue with me and they were fixing it. Watch out for these crooks. If they're willing to scam me on my first small bill, imagine what they'd do to you if you did a big project with them. CROOKS. Update: Subsequent to the original post, Jeffrey F from Arctic Mechanical wrote a reply to my post, inaccurately characterizing the events, but more importantly, listing my name and home address in his reply. This attempt to intimidate and chill my right to post about their business practices was appropriately taken down by Yelp. But this is further evidence of Arctic Mechanical's business practices and aggressive and shady front office.

They were our go-to HVAC company because we know how hard reliable service is to find. Creadore has destroyed that. After a service call earlier this summer, Robert (the owner, who handles scheduling) said he'd find a time within three weeks to complete two items we discussed -- one of which was part of the original service call. Weeks passed. Nothing. I followed up in writing, offered three specific dates two weeks out, and asked for a simple email confirmation either way. He never replied at all. Along the way, I was also told when I "should" fix my humidifier based on the season -- for a repair that was part of the visit I already paid for. Which raises the obvious question: if I called in December about that humidifier, would I just be told they're too busy with no-heat emergencies? An HVAC company whose owner won't respond to scheduling requests and only shows up for emergencies isn't a service company. If you're considering Creadore based on ALM's old reputation, know that it no longer applies.

I texted back requesting that Jorge call me in advance if he thinks my window AC unlikely to be repairable. I got no response so I assumed the text chain was unmonitored. I rearranged my day, got up before 8am, and waited. At 11:15am, no one had come, so I called. The person on the phone was very apologetic and said someone would call me back immediately to let me know when the tech would arrive. I rearranged appointments for the afternoon. No call. I rearranged more of my appointments for the afternoon. I called again at 1:30pm: same apology and promise. No call. I rearranged more of my appointments for the afternoon. I called again at 3pm: same apology, same promise. In desperation, I told them I was about to write a bad Yelp review. That's clearly the ONLY thing that made them bother to respond to me because, finally, at 3:15pm, Brenda texted me on the same text chain (so the text WAS monitored after all): "I am sorry for window AC we usually replace them do not perform repair." What??? They had confirmed that they DO perform such repairs. And even if the phone person had been mistaken, they KNEW they had made an appointment with me 8-11am. But no one had bothered to contact me to tell me anything! They knew I was calling again and again begging for a response. No one WOULD have contacted me had I not finally told them I was about to write a review. They are obviously totally unprofessional and don't care how much disruption and waste of time they cause their clients.

I gave him an $8000 deposit which he asked for 10,000. He came back with the piece we needed and he wanted me to give him the balance that I owed him before he walked into the store to finish the job.
