Each and every move, they were on time, if not early, and consistently worked while being open to our guidance of items. The guys made our moving day a DELIGHT. I was honestly dreading it. Nobody likes to move, especially us after our last one about a decade ago. (Still have those bad memories!) But Christian, Ted, Ken and even Edgar(!) made moving day FUN. They never complained about the steps or the furniture they needed to take apart to get out the door, or the length of the day. I have needed moving services twice in the last year and used evolution both times. The movers are extremely friendly, they are highly efficient and try to move as expeditiously as possible while keeping your belongings safe. They're on time and honest about how long they think it will take. My last movers (Dom, Cedric, and River) were all of the above and more! This company is lucky to have great employees like them. There is a 2.5 hour minimum so if you don't think it will take that long just be aware (they are up front about the minimum on the quotes and while working). Please take pictures of your items before they get on the truck and after they are put into your home, you have to inspect them before you sign. Don't sign the paper unless it states pending damages for items broken or the boss shows up. Great friendly movers , I just prefer for all my big items not to be broken during the move and having them say they were already like t replying to the movers reply: It was not the first you heard of this . After a few back and forth emails , and us saying we were going to leave a review on your face book page , where the damages fixed.The plug we had to go and buy ourselves that day to fix the broken plug part they broke jamming it in the door way . But no reimbursement for the fridge we had to replace after it flooded our floors due to a broken line in back from the move. Friendly moves and the other stuff was not broken, or damaged or lost . Yes they were a bit higher priced compared to others but their service fee was less plus the reviews were my ultimate decision to book. Plus you get what you pay for especially in this business. They wrapped the few furniture pieces we took plus my Peloton and everything was handled with care. Evolution NEVER disappoints!!!! They have the absolutely best employees!!! They arrive on time, updating how far out they are on the date of arrival and immediately get to work. We have used them 4 times in the last 6 months, to move big items from our home in Keller to Haslet. EVERYTHING arrived in perfect condition. They took very good care of our belongings, made sure that they plastic wrapped and covered each and every item......including our outside decorated stone statues!! All the employees are very professional and friendly. All are very well trained. They even knew more about my husbands grandfather clock than my husband did! LOL!!!! They knew the proper way to take it apart for transport and put it back together when it arrived to our new home. It is keeping time perfect! All 4 teams that we hired, worked fantastic as a team. They made sure to communicate with each other on what they needed help with and asked their other members if they needed assistance with moving things. They are very thoughtful of not just us and our items.....but of each other. We are moving out of state and after reading all the horror stories of movers holding stuff hostage and missing dates and breaking stuff, we decided to use PODS to move everything since we are moving in stages. PODS and U-Haul both had "recommended" packers that could help us first pack boxes and then move things into the POD. Both websites had unbelievably good reviews for their recommended companies but a quick check of Yelp, Google or the BBB told a different story. Some had no presence with one or the other and some had 1-1 1/2 stars? What? So, I spent about 2 days looking at companies, reading reviews and checking sources and cross referencing. We know some people have unrealistic expectations of what things cost and we know sometimes things can happen so reading the reviews helped with that. We loaded POD 1 of 3 about 2 weeks ago. We were going to pack and stage one day and load the next. I called Evolution Moving and spoke with Cameron who was great, but most of the bad reviews started with a really helpful sales person, that's how they get you in the door, right? Cameron suggested a 3 person crew and said their employees work for them regularly and they work to retain employees. I found out later that some companies hire any type of laborer and they often don't have the experience to pack well or the expertise to load a truck or in our case, POD. They sent Daniel, Christian and Austin. My husband and I are older and not as spry as we once were so we would have to stop for a bit but these guys were MACHINES! We have a lot of artwork and pictures which Austin spent most of the day carefully wrapping and packing. Then Christian and Austin worked room by room to pull boxes I had packed and other things that needed to be packed and loading them into the POD. Here's some things I liked. They used every inch of space in the POD. A POD review I'd seen on YouTube mentioned ratchet straps to keep stuff from shifting, no problem they used them in intervals to secure the load. I'd been collecting free moving boxes from Next-door and even though they carry supplies on the truck, they had no problem using all the free boxes and packing and wrapping supplies I had bought for less on Amazon. Their prices were listed so there was no wondering what they were going to charge. I also liked that they used everything available to pack. Rugs needed to be gone to show the house? No problem. They used the rug to pad a box or wrap things. They used small books to keep wrapped valuables from shifting. They used some old sheets and towels to wrap things in. Then, when we ran out of moving blankets, I had no problem buying some of them because they had saved us so much by using what was on hand. They were careful and creative and willing to work with us. They had great attitudes and never took a break. Because of that, they were able to stay an extra hour or two and finish everything in one day! POD 2 gets delivered in about 10 days and I've already requested Daniel, Christian and Austin return for the next phase. They came as skilled workers to help us out but left as friends. They made sure to cover the door as to not get it damaged and put up protective carpets on the floor so it wouldn't get scratched. They also took good care of my furniture and covered them with blankets and wrapped them in plastic. I have a very large fridge and I was afraid we would have trouble getting it through the door of the new house but Cameron clearly knows what's he's doing.
