I am a former Naval Aviator, retired American Airlines Pilot, and current USAF Civilian Simulator Instructor Pilot. We moved from Rte 281 North and Bulverde Road area to Converse Texas on April 30, 2022. Being prior Navy, I have allot of moving experiences! This wasn't the worst but it was very sad, indeed. THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, DISHONEST AND LAZY CREW I EVER EXPERIENCED IN 40 YEARS OF MARRIAGE AND A NAVAL SERVICE CAREER! THE COMPANY HAS NOT RESPONDED TO ANY OF SEVEN MESSAGES LEFT WITH VARIOUS CONTACTS FOR A WAY TO REPORT DAMAGES, OR OFFERED IN ANY WAY TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT! I AM REPORTING THEM TO ALL LOCAL AND NATIONAL MILITARY MOVING AGENCIES ON AND VIA LOCAL MILITARY BASES! 1. The pictures of the handsome movers? That's a joke; expect less. 2. DAMAGES: The workers caused damages upstairs and in the stairway of this 3,000 + sq-foot house. To make matters worse, THEY INTENTIONALLY HID THE DAMAGES WHERE THEY COULD! They mis-positioned a guest room bed (we have 6 bedrooms) to hide the tremendously large gashes in our wall. They also put the bed together shoddily and incorrectly, where the uninstalled bolts and uninstalled center support bracket could not be seen until well after they left ... days later; same with the damages. A reputable company would have admitted they couldn't figure how to put the bed together, requested help, and come and reported accidental damage. 3. ALL boxes were meticulously labeled by rooms. Many were just thrown into inappropriate rooms, many requiring re-positioning but, being 66 and my wife being 64, and me being a disabled American Veteran, we had to employ help to re-move things within the house. 4. ALL boxes with fragile, crushable or non-bendable items were appropriately labeled with purchased labels! We found many damaged, crushed, collapsed by placing heavy boxes atop of them, etc. 4. LAZINESS / FALSIFIED RECORDS / LYING TO THEIR SUPERIORS / TIME + PRICE GOUGING: A- I was quoted a price per hour. Cameron, the agent, said the move should be accomplished within 3-4 hours; but that part I haven't yet found in writing. Downloading voicemails and texts with our attorneys. THEY TOOK OVER 12 HOURS ... BUT THAT'S NOT ALL ... B- THE MOVERS STOOD AROUND TALKING ON CELL PHONES AT TIMES. ONE GUY STOOD IN FRONT OF MY DAUGHTER AND TALKED FOR 20 MINUTES TO A FRIEND! WE CAUGHT THEM DOING THE SAME INSIDE THEIR TRUCKS! (They have NO idea I have videos / recordings of them joking around.) C- I was at the house we were moving from, a nearly $500 K house (so the workers smelled money proverbially I guess) and my wife was at the new house with my daughter before me because truck 3 they only needed two) was still being loaded. I found out later that ALTHOUGH THE COMPANY TOOK 15 MINUTES OFF OUR BILL FOR LUNCH (BUT WE BOUGHT THEM LUNCH AND DINNER AND THEY ATE ALLOT LONGER THAN THAT) AND THEY CHARGED FOR THE 35 MINUITE TRANSIT BUT BOTH MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER WILL TESTIFY, WITH VIDEO, THAT THE TRUCKS SAT DOWN THE STREET, BACKED INTO A SIDE STREET, WAITING FOR THE THIRRD TRUCK, FOR AN HOUR AND 35 MINUTES!!! I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS OR THE PHONE CALLING UNTIL AFTER THEY WERE PAID! D- Not only did I pay almost $5,000 when the bid was for $2,500-$3,500, I gave them as a group a large tip because I did not know abo0ut ALL he sky-larking laziness, phone calls and parked hidden time, etc. E- One manager called once to return my first call, and since they've gotten my written and verbal reports, nobody at the company will return calls or emails, or send us damage claim paper work! SO OFF TO COURT WE GO IN SHORT ORDER. DO NOT EVER USE THIS SHODDILY RUN, UNPROFESSIONAL DISHONEST AND SCAMMING, IN ALL IN MY OPINION, COMPANY ... EVER! PS: WE HAVE PICTURES, VIDEOS, ETC. BUT SINCE THIS WILL LIKELY END UP IN COURT, WE'RE NOT SHARING ANY EVIDENCE AT THIS TIME. read more

We recently moved from Virginia to San Antonio, TX. Our entire experience with Evolution movers was completely EXCEPTIONAL from beginning to finish!! We used Evolution for our local move in New Braunfels yesterday (the beginning of a heatwave)! First, the online quote was extremely helpful and easy to use. Being able to get an instant quote by selecting from an inventory checklist was fantastic, as we were on the fencepost about hiring movers to begin with. We rev'd a call the next business day from a very friendly and helpful "scheduler," and were able to schedule a move the very next day. Our movers, Doc and Dylan (Dillon?) arrived 15 minutes early, and were extremely polite and friendly, assessed our move, and got busy instantly! We have quite a lot of very heavy pieces of furniture, and both made the move look like a piece of cake! They blanket-wrapped all pieces, and worked together efficiently as a team to tackle all of our heavy and hard-to-move antiques and furniture. We were so impressed with both of them as people, their strength, and had great conversation between their hard work. When we got to our new house, the guys were very patient with me, as I didn't know exactly where all pieces would go. They even re-moved a few items to other rooms as we went about. They remembered how pieces of furniture, beds were disassembled, and Doc reassembled them seamlessly. The astonishing feature was they came in under budget, under the time estimate, and saved us $$! Settling to our "retirement" home after years of military moves, I was looking for a RELIABLE moving company and came across Evolution Moving Company online. The reviews are excellent and their website seems pretty up front so, fingers crossed, I took a gamble. Got a quote from Cameron over the phone and gave me the brief of their moving process. No gimmicks, no over selling, no pressure, it just felt right. Weeks later, I booked the moving date and I have to say, I made the right choice. Young as they may be, they are very professional, good natured, hard working, and most of all they take pride in what they do. Mind you, they get paid by the hour yet the moment the clock starts ticking they went to town! There was no delay, they just kept packing and loading (and unloading) carefully and efficiently. Yes, there were a couple of minor scratches (trust me it happens) but I feel I have to mention it because Cameron handled it with such INTEGRITY and accountability and that says a LOT about this company. In the past we have moved ourselves but with the birth our first baby in September we knew it would no longer be an option for us. My wife and I are picky when it comes to finding services that combine both affordability and also strive to provide the best service possible. I took to the internet and searched for companies with the best reviews. I came across Evolution Moving Company and was blown away by the overwhelming positive reviews so we contacted them and we were immediately greeted professionally over the phone. We scheduled our move and took the day off of work to maximize the move. On move day, Matt and Ben came over and gave us a straight forward and affordable quote based off the items they would move. During the move both guys were professional yet personable and smiled constantly even when moving our heaviest of items. The speed that they both moved at was amazing, they didn't try to milk the time to reach the quote and instead came in at almost an hour under. These two guys were great! I found Evolution Moving Company on a Google search among others for a local move in New Braunfels. I called around to get quotes to move my 2 bedroom apartment. Large national chains responded right away, but quoted me extremely high rates. The other local companies did not give me a good feeling about them if they answered or called back at all. I chose to go with Evolution and it was an excellent experience. Sean and Matt arrived on 12/23/15, evaluated my move, and got to work! I pitched in, so we got the move done rather quickly. They moved my belongings with care as if they were moving their own. See if friends and family have the same care for your stuff if you go it alone? I had everything packed except for the furniture, which Matt wrapped with furniture pads & shrink wrap well enough to be able to withstand a cross country trip without being damaged (and FAST as well). I found myself trying to keep up with Sean who was solely loading the truck himself. They even helped me hook up my washer and dryer at my new place. Evolution Moving Company in New Braunfels provided us a great moving experience at a very reasonable price. Robert and Justin were 15 minutes early for load up and proceeded to work quickly and efficiently while taking care not to damage any of our belongings. We had moved everything into a 10 x 20 storage unit ourselves and none of the furniture was wrapped. They took the time to wrap everything before they loaded it into the truck and treated our stuff like it was their own. When they got to our new home, they delivered the labeled boxes (make sure you do this to save yourself time) to the rooms they needed to be taken to and set up the furniture that we had taken apart (3 beds, dining room table, office desk, etc). All told, our move took less than 5 hours because Robert and Justin never stopped pushing themselves. They certainly weren't trying to milk the clock to add extra billable hours to the move. Our third move with Evolution was just as smooth as the other two moves. Pearson and Brian's attitude and work ethic was outstanding. Once again the company and employees exceeded my expectations. The Van Operator; Pearson stayed in touch with us throughout the two day move. He called prior to arriving at Origin in New Braunfels, called when he and Brian left the Evolution facility on Saturday morning and once again after he exited I 10 so we could give family members a heads up on delivery. Kudos for Pearson's communication skills. Pearson and Brian never slowed down. They never took a break even though we had refreshments for them. No property or household goods damaged. Another flawless move by Evolution. Tom; the Sales Manager in Dallas set the move up for us. His estimate was spot on. We'll be calling again for two more trucks near the end of the month to complete the final move. It's one thing to run a company. It's another to hire, train and motivate your employees. I highly recommend this company. I have moved several times and this was by far the most professional group I have hired. They showed up on the day of my move and got right to work. The crew of three, Joe, Lorenzo and Mikey were all very professional and courteous. They took great care with my furniture and my very large pieces that are hard to handle were all moved with expertise. They carefully wrapped everything in plastic and blankets and all was packed very neatly into my storage building. The move was completed quickly and there was no loafing on their part, which is a problem I had with my last movers that were being paid by the hour. I'm pleased to report we were very impressed and pleased with the job Lewis and his crew did. We haven't found a single bit of damage on anything and that is very rare with a move. We always resign ourselves to the fact that something will happen to one piece or another but we were pleasantly surprised! Everyone from Evolution Moving Company was extremely courteous and mannerly. We heard no off-color language, everyone wore a smile and each one treated our things as if they were their own. They also moved with a purpose without sacrificing care for speed. Compared to other movers I've used in the past I felt the price was reasonable. I was very impressed with the way both Ryan and Matt called in advance of the move to confirm the day and time. Communication is key with me and I greatly appreciate it. I scheduled Evolution Moving for our move from San Marcos to NW Austin and all I can say is that I am extremely impressed and satisfied! I compared a few different companies and options but for the price and all-inclusiveness Evolution Moving was a great value! I hardly ever leave yelp reviews but after this experience I had to! My experience: Our appointment was set for 8am, the movers arrived at 7:59 and were ready to go at 8 ON THE DOT! They took very good care of everything we had as if it were their own, 1st wrapping it in moving blankets and securing any loose parts. Then quickly moved all articles into their enormous truck. The speed and veracity that they worked at was beyond impressive and it made me feel they really wanted to make sure they used our time efficiency. I had a specific date that I needed (short notice) and after being extremely apologetic Cameron and Ryan stated that they would put me on the "list" if there should be a cancellation. Set my move up last minuet. They had maybe a 2 business day notice. I had everything packed and ready to be loaded and taken to the new location approx 100-120miles away. North Austin area to West side San Antonio. These guys came in busted ass and got the job faster then I had even thought it would go. within 2hrs of arriving we were off to the new location. They assisted in every way possible. As expected a few items would be broken along the way in transit, one thing did. A stand to mirror, not a big deal at all easy to replace and or fix. They did a phenomenal job and did well over my first thought expectations of any moving services. Nothing was majorly damaged or scuffed. Everything that had a wood finish to it was wrapped up tight for a secure transport. 10/10 Will use them again for any future moves or recommendations. read more

I can not say enough great things about this company. It is a family owned business. I can tell they take pride in their business. We hired them to pack our stuff into a moving pod. They did an AMAZING job!!!! Matthew and Sean showed up at our house on time! They were professional gentlemen! They took better care of our things than we ever could!!! Bottom Line up Front: Outstanding! Coming from a military background and moves across the globe, the professionalism and moving experience was second to none. Let me also say that 'Doc', Robert, Adrian, and Michael were all businesslike from the moment they started at 0845 till job completion at 1830. What was amazing was that not one of the crew needed guidance or instruction. Each one knew their job and understood that the customers time was money. In the 9 1/2 hours they loaded and unloaded a household of 3,900 sqft and garage full of tools/cabinets/chests in 730 sqft. It was definitely a two truck, four-man evolution. PROS: 1. Courteous 2. WOW! Matt and Neil really knocked it out of the park with our move. I booked with Matt about a month in advance and he kept constant contact with me up until moving day. He let me know when him and Neil were on the way and showed up 15 minutes early! From start to stop, it was nothing but constant hustle and when I say hustle I really mean it (they were running up and down the stairs and in and out of the house while being extremely cautious). They wrapped all of my furniture with moving blankets and wrapped plastic wrap for added security! Every precaution was taken as if it were their own belongings and for that I am truly grateful! Best moving company ever!!!! These guys are truly awesome. We had sold out home and the place we were moving to ended up not being ready on the day we had to be out of our house. Instead of moving us from one place to another they came out and helped us load our entire house into a uhaul. We had no idea when we would be able to get into our new residence so I had to keep canceling and rescheduling them to help us move out of the Uhaul. They were very kind and helpful throughout the whole ordeal and even called me on a daily basis to check in and let us know they were there whenever we needed them. These guys were fantastic! My family and I just moved this past weekend and it was probably the smoothest move we've ever experienced thanks to these guys! They were on time (early actually...by about 5 minutes), and took amazing care of our belongings. Everything was carefully wrapped and secured, and they had a great system to make the process even faster....great teamwork! Most companies will round up to the nearest half hour or hour but they didn't do this at all... it was nice to NOT be nickel-and-dimed! The guys were very courteous and energetic.... wonderful to work with!!!
