I got an email today from 30/10 saying that they are now offering programs for kids. Please do not…read moreput your kid through this. I was 18 when I began this program and it was a horrible experience. Most of your meals are pre-packaged powder and you eat 600 calories a day (if that). This diet puts so much stress on your body. I was having anxiety attacks more frequently, my hair was falling out, I felt like sleeping all day because my body wasn't getting enough calories. I would come home from school and cry on the floor for hours because I felt so weak and depressed. Not to mention that my parents spent thousands of dollars on this program. Sure you lose the weight, but it does major damage to your body in the long term. If you want a healthy and sustainable solution to weight loss, I suggest you go to the gym across the parking lot. Consider speaking with a nutritionist. Please do not put your child through this program!

It took me many years to FINALLY be at a place in my life to walk into a business like 30/10 and…read moresay I need help. I am glad I did. I finally had enough, waved my white surrender flag and walked in the doors Dec 7, 2017. Immediately I was met by the team (Megan, Shannon, Natalie & Cassie) and started the program. The motivation was for me. I didn't like how I felt, how I moved, how breathing was hard. But I also wanted to live a better life, be a role model for my kids and ultimately be around for them much longer than projected. At first I struggled with accepting it would work, thinking just around the corner I was going to suddenly gain it all back. I was so programmed for failure. Each week the team met with me, dealt very professionally with a gazillion questions and cheerfully greeted me when I came in the door (even when sometimes I was a bit gruff or not ready to trust the program). Each week I saw success, consistently dropping pounds and body fat. If you stick to it (THIS IS KEY) and stop making excuses (oh I went out, was at a friends house, had a party, etc) and make a choice for you, YOU can do this. I told everyone at work what I was doing and why. I felt the team needed to know why I might go out, drink or whatever. I told friends, family and everyone who might listen. I stopped drinking alcohol day 1 and went through the holiday season without a drop. I just told family/friends/work folks what I was doing and had 100% support, no questions. It made the holidays better as I would have "Dad's meal" and everyone else would have the rest. It didn't matter, I lost 15 lbs through December! It made me realize I could be successful and could say no. I can direct what is going into my mouth. My journey started out at 250.2 lbs. Today I am 174. I fluctuate a couple lbs up and down which is fine by me. I am learning and growing each day what is healthy to eat, how to maintain my loss and how to live longer for myself and my family. This works. It's expensive. I bet I would have spent similar amount of $$ going out drinking/eating that I put towards this personal effort. About 65 lbs of fat gone! I am motivated as ever to keep it off. Do it for yourself first and then do it for others. It works. You just gotta stick to it. You have to own your actions and take responsibility and think ahead in a handful of situations. Do it.

He practically saved my life from a lower back injury that required surgery back in 2010. For comparison, it took me a year to get an MRI in the Army, he got me one on my initial visit. It takes a lot for me to go see a doctor, and boy was I in pain. I had to lay down for 15 minutes from standing for less than a minute. His quick and on the point diagnosis put treatments in motion that many would hold off to squeeze in additional office visits at patients' expense. Within a month, I had my L5/S1 surgery......a day after consultation with the surgeon. Too bad L&I played their shady role on my expense, but I cannot say enough to express my appreciation for Dr. Van Coevorden's role in where I'm at now.....in family, marriage, and life.

I used a vanilla diet from Google and burned myself out. I found myself dreading the gym and eventually quit going altogether. My experience and process ruined it for me - 100% my fault. I've made several attempts to get back into a program/routine at a few of the larger gyms over the years, but found trainers to be mostly incompetent and I spent most of my time waiting for weights or machines. Fast forward to this year - my wife is entering her first competition (E Cup). Accordingly, I recommended she connect with CZ Fitness for competition prep. After connecting with Pete on her goals I found myself signing up for training as well after being out of the gym for almost 7 years. It was important to me to have someone I trust guide me towards my goals. It was even MORE important to have someone I trust guide my wife towards hers. I chose to work with Pete because I want my a** kicked. I want to be pushed to exceed my capabilities, but have fun doing it. Pete doesn't let me fart around. I'm there to put in the work and he doesn't let me take it easy. In just a few short weeks I feel stronger and more confident. I'm eager to see what I can accomplish with CZ's support - who knows...maybe I'll do another competition. You get out what you put in! Ain't nothing to it, but to do it

We saw Staci Scott at Village Pediatrics for ADHD med management and genetic testing review…read more Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience with no useful recommendations. Our teen arrived unwell and we asked if she should wear a mask but were told no (headache, nausea, post-flu), mentioned it repeatedly, but there was no basic empathy or accommodation--no temp check, no relief suggestions, and loud talking continued despite requests for quiet. When our teen felt like vomiting and nearly passing out, the response felt dismissive. The appointment ended abruptly after Staci got upset, stormed out, and left us with no med plan or next steps. Our kid ended up throwing up in the waiting area with no follow-up help or call afterward. We own that our teen was moody (sick + ADHD), but we expected better de-escalation skills, empathy, and flexibility--especially from a specialist in teen ADHD. Lacked strong interpersonal skills and neurodiversity awareness in tough moments. Wouldn't recommend. Look at her google reviews as other families had a similar experience. Kristi the other nurse only works one day a week and the other one left. There's no other "medical" staff so you'll likely be stuck with Staci and no alternatives. We have never seen a single person there in the photo she has of her practice.

While dealing…read morewith a very challenging medical situation for our oldest child, we previously had left 2 other practices because we felt that they couldn't meet our needs. It's not an exaggeration to say that Staci came through for us in the biggest way when we felt like we were drowning. She has continued to do so for nearly 10 years and for all four of our children. She always gets us in same day if needed, is punctual, spends a lot of time with us, and never makes us feel rushed. Staci responds to messages same day and gets refills in for us as quickly as humanly possible if I ever drop the ball. Staci has been tireless in her efforts to help us find answers to challenging medical issues, and she is always current on the latest research. She is kind and patient with my children, even on their hardest days. If you have a neurodivergent child, I cannot recommend Staci enough. The front office staff (Katelyn and Sara) are wonderful too. They know me and all of my children on a first name basis, and it feels like they bend over backwards to always help me whenever I am in a bind, whether it's trying to fit me into a very full schedule, get a message to Staci between appointments, deal with insurance, you name it. They are welcoming and kind to my children, and always try to help them find a favorite sticker, no matter how long it might take them to decide . On rare occasions when Staci is unavailable, we have seen other practitioners and have always been pleased with their care. The office is clean and warm and friendly, and feels like a comfortable and safe space to my children. My youngest is 2 and he recently started pretending that one of his cars is named Dr Staci. If one of his brothers has an appointment, he always wants to go too. All of my children would agree, Staci and Village Pediatrics feel like a part of our family in the best way possible.
