This dermatology clinic is right down the road from me so I took it as a sign to come here to establish a relationship with someone who can properly help me with the care of my skin. The staff here are so friendly. The sweet receptionist got me all check in and gave me my proper paperwork to fill out. I only waited a couple minutes before Ashley Cafferty greeted me and walked me back to my exam room. Ashley and I went through my medical history, my transplant timeline and my relationship with the sun. I appreciate that she took in everything that I was throwing at her. She didn't rush me and everything that I had to tell her. Her attention was truly undivided. Ashley did a thorough exam of my skin. She checked every mole to make sure they weren't suspicious for anything concerning. We also went through my dry skin concerns and possible treatment options to help alleviate some of the dryness. It is quite the awkward situation, having someone you just barely met go through every inch of your body but Ashley made me feel comfortable the whole time. I couldn't be happier coming to this office to get my relationship with a dermatologist started. The staff is great. The office itself is stunning. The room I was in was clean and professional. I don't have to be back for another year but I'll know what to expect the next time I do come in. It was a great visit at this office today.

There's no disclosure about this, despite the clinic knowing and implementing this policy, but I digress. I was ok with the care, NOT OK with the egregious charges and underhanded, dishonestly inflated bill. My advice is simple: find another clinic to visit, and second, ask for an estimate of charges before you agree to care. Shop around, because this clinic will empty your wallet over basic visits.

She was offered a treatment combo for her skin and as the doctor explained it may take several tries to get med combos to work or several weeks before it shows a difference. First combo of very expensive prescriptions cleared up her skin after several weeks. They also suggested some products that help maintain skin health and gave out plenty of samples.

To give the office another chance as it is less than 5 minutes from my home, I took my teenager to their office for acne and requested her PA, Sammy Verner. LOVED her. It was a much more pleasant experience. She was friendly and explained things well, and, at the follow up, she adjusted the medication as needed, too. She is very skilled and at one point I almost fell asleep. After the procedure I looked in the mirror and my face looked new. I was shocked and so excited! I went shopping from there without a stitch of makeup. I felt younger and knew I looked good, lol. When I finally got home my husband did a double take and said I was glowing. Love, love, love it.
