I think that every chiropractor is a little different and you need to find the right one for you. There is no universal chiro treatment. So with this in mind, here are the things I like about Dr. Drew: He spent a lot of time with me my first visit understanding my body, my current pains, previous injuries, what I expect from my body, and what I need out of a Dr. Really open and non-judgmental. Gives me a really gentle and confident manual adjustment. My husband (who has also been seeing him since I came home raving about my treatment) says that he gets a much stronger adjustment. Which is just how we both like it. Does tons(!) of joint and deep tissue work. He has his massage therapist certification up on his wall. So he's not just about your bones. My joints have never been so happy. Gives me good tips on things I can pay attention to help improve my body on a daily basis. And then gives me a few (approx 15 min/day) exercises and stretches to help me improve between treatments. With me, he's all about how I function as a whole and working on balancing me out. Whole body health is really important to me, and he just gets me. I've been seeing him for more than two months now and have seen a marked improvement in that time. Most of my issues are more long term changes and not intense pain that needs immediate attention. I would especially recommend him for athletes as he's really good at dealing with performance issues. I also think that he would be great for people who are a little leery about chiropractic because he's so friendly, knowledgeable, and has a great way of making you feel at ease. while I know that he's probably not right for everyone, I can't help recommending him to anyone I know that might benefit from his services.

I was scheduled to see Molly Tuesday afternoon and hobbled my sorry self into the office. She performed the most amazing and exquisitely targeted massage I've ever had. She also demonstrated and coached me with some strengthening exercises to speed up my recovery. Will I run the half marathon on July 4? Based on THEIR confirmation, I agreed. Now I am being hit with monthly bills out of nowhere. Here are the facts: I already paid $50 out of pocket My insurance was charged $602.66 I then received an additional bill for $205.56 No clear explanation. No warning. No transparency. I have called multiple times, left voicemails, and tried to resolve this like an adult. No one calls back. No one takes responsibility. No one follows up. The complete lack of professionalism and accountability is shocking. Even worse, their own website lists: New Patient Chiropractic (60 min): $200 Chiropractic (30 min) So how do you justify charging insurance over $600 for a basic visit? This feels misleading at best and unethical at worst. If they had been honest from the beginning, I would have never agreed to treatment. I am so happy that I found Becca when I began having vertigo for the second time in my life. The…read morefirst time I went to so many doctors visits (one urgent care, two family medicine, two ENT, two neurologists) that did very little to help me understand why I had vertigo and how to treat it which left me with lingering dizziness for almost a year and eventually required medication. Becca heard my history and current issues and immediately identified my current problem as BPPV by using her fancy video eye recording goggles. Based on my eye movements she moved me through a procedure with the goal of moving the crystals back into the proper canal. I was rather dizzy and nauseous after the procedures. Becca was hopeful after my first visit that everything would be back to normal but I had some residual issues and she told me I should come back for more treatment. At our second visit she noted more eye movement with her fancy eye video goggles and we went through a different procedure to treat. I was less dizzy/nauseous after this time and Becca encouraged me that she thought this treatment should do the trick. I had some vertigo again at home and texted Becca feeling very concerned and she quickly replied and reassured me that the crystals were most likely still settling into place. At our final visit Becca tested me again with the fancy goggles and she saw no eye movements, hooray! I did have some lingering issues with my vision and complex visual fields triggering some dizziness and she gave me exercises to do to help reset my brain/vision. After a few weeks of the exercises I felt back to normal. I was slightly nervous about the self pay but comparing the cost to my husbands Pt visits to an in network PT I realized the prices were much lower at Nuero Base Camp. Becca provided me super bills which I submitted to my insurance for partial credit towards my deductible. They even rejected a few for very nit-picky reasons and Becca updated them for me for resubmission. I wish I had been referred to a Physical Therapist like Becca that specialized in dizziness by any of the many doctors I saw during my first bout of vertigo. It would have saved me a lot of time, money, and health anxiety. I would recommend Becca to anyone struggling to understand their dizziness or vertigo.
