I…read moresought treatment due to the overall grief of losing my dad and the depression during this pandemic. Also I had anxiety because I was not able to what I needed to do like work and take care of family. I was already on meds and was recommended this treatment by my PCP. About 4 weeks in I started feeling better. I wasn't crying everyday and just felt lighter. The problem that didn't get addressed was lack of motivation. I didn't do much of anything but go to treatment and lay in bed. I did other things but with great effort like cooking once in a while. I need to work so I felt shame for not putting in a lot of hours while working at home. The anxiety lightened a little the came back. By the end of the 6th week (the last week) I was not as good then the following week back to depression and tears daily and often. I asked Dr. Debnath to reach out to my psychiatrist but somehow it's been 2 weeks and still they haven't connected. I gave 3 stars for wonderful caring people but not 5 because I'm not better now then when I started. I would recommend that so cal Tms try bringing in a counselor once or twice a week to work on the actual issues causing the drop in brain chemicals. They could probably bill for it but if not they do get paid well enough to afford this and it could have better patient a outcomes. For example teach people how to self sooth through breathing, meditation and just self reflection. CBT could be used to enhance outcomes. Also tell me what I should do after treatment ends like join grief group, exercise, meditate. Teach me to help myself along with TMS. Dr Debnath says I could still see results in next 2 weeks. If anything changes I will update this post.

Also Ann was very responsive when Mom needed someone last minute and always came through with a caregiver. If one of the caregivers couldn't show up Ann was always quick to provide a replacement. I will give credit and say thanks to these amazing people for taking care of my mother for almost 2 years! Dennette in physical therapy is amazing and my mom will not allow anyone else to assist her but Dennette, and previous RN Leslie! She may no longer be there but she was amazing as well as the current LVN Tina, these 3 were my mothers favorite along with the previous DON Barbara whom my mother misses dearly after her resigning from the company. We have had care with them for years and as much as this company is a smaller one with many competitors and options, we stayed because we loved the care given by those named as Barbara the previous DON had always followed up with us as well as the office intake coordinator Vanessa, she is absolutely hands on amazing as well!! Always on it and helpful!! My negative review in losing 2 stars is because prior to my mother's week hospitalization last week, she was already on care with Healthwise for over a year already. She was admitted and was suppose to come back to Healthwise after to do a resumption of care, well unfortunately her episode date finished so the new orders were to start care over. The NEW director of nursing calls me AFTER the fact the RN scheduled to do a visit to tell me my mother has no skilled need. I am in the HH field so I am aware of her comment however my mother had just left the hospital after completing 2 procedures and was already on care so I find it very upsetting the new DON Tina stated that she did not want to take my mom back on care. It was upsetting especially to my mother and very unorganized given the fact the RN called to schedule an appointment with my mother already. I just do not understand why that would happen when she was already on services and her excuse was "they would of discharged her in a few weeks already" which from what I was told not accurate. I feel like care for my mother was neglected in many ways and belittled by this decision.

The staff not only loved me until I could love myself again but they held my hand through many situations I didn't think I could face, if your looking for real sobriety, amazing care, and to feel like your home this is your place, it wasn't always easy and fun but what I learned here is that I never have to face life alone again, and god forbid I had to go back to rehab I would come back here with out a doubt!! Since what I was going through was very emotional and deeply bothersome. She was very, very welcoming and comfortable to talk to and immediately got to the root of things at the same time.
