Came in for a simple back cover replacement on my Movado watch which would've cost nothing and that it would take 20 mins, cool. When I came to pick it up they said that the watch wasn't working and that it now cost $199 to fix something else. They tried to put a battery in and messed something else up in my watch. My watch was ticking just perfectly prior to me coming in. Do not come here from anything! These fools are straight crooks! read more

Stopped in to have my Fossil watch band repaired as one of the pins broke. Since I was making the trip, the wife brought with her some fashion watches that had dead batteries. All in all, we asked to have them replace 3 watch batteries and repair one band. Came back an hour later and all the work was completed as promised with a small hiccup. As a result of the hiccup I received a follow up call from the owner regarding my visit and I truly appreciate his attempt at correcting the concern as well as restoring my faith in his business. For this reason, I've revised the rating to 4 stars. Metaphor coming...In other words you can forgive a bad meal and give the restaurant a second chance but bad service and you'll never return. A host/hostess (the first person you meet) is probably the most important person in any organization. I'll give them a second try and realize the incident was most likely due to inexperience by a young staff member. read more

These guys are top shelf !! I have bought around $18K to $20K in watches over the years [ its a sickness lol ] and the staff has been A-1. I only had 1 issue with a watch and they were on it and made it right. They're very informative with you before the sale to insure you know what your getting. I could probably get the same watches for slightly less on line, but they're prices are so good it's not worth it. When you buy from them you have the peace of mind knowing that if you have an issue years from now, they'll remember you , probably by name, and be on top of it. I'm a collector and if you go in there with and idea and they don't have it in stock, they will get exactly what you want. I can't say enough about them except that I plan on doing a lot more buisnes with them in the future. I've been to lots of the high end places and not gotten any better service. read more

I wouldn't normally walk into a shop like this one. It kinda looks like an inflated kiosk in the mall that I would usually avoid. But my sister sent me in because she knew they could change out my hubby's watch battery. They not only swapped out the battery, but fixed it and the battery is under warranty for a really reasonable cost. Plus they were speedy! So I ran and picked up another watch of his that I knew needed a battery and came back with that one. Just as fast, friendly and reasonable as the first one. I was wrong for judging a book by its cover, this was a great find. read more

Interestingly enough, Sears referred me to this store. I went in to get a watch battery replaced at Sears and found out that they no longer do it on site.....The Sears employee was kind enough to direct me to Exact Time. The staff was friendly and replaced my watch battery in minutes. Very pleased with the experience. read more

This place is very expensive for watch battery. I did not want to spend over $60.00 for a battery ( I don't think the watch even cost that much). The worker was very rude, When I chose the $60.00 battery. If you want a good value don't come here. If you want friendly service don't come here. Weird, since there are plenty of places I could go locally to have it done, but I guess I have to drive 100+ miles to go here! Today they cleaned & sealed my watch and replaced the battery in it. FULL DISCLOSURE: This review is based on a visit from about 10 years ago! We are not sure if it's the same owner or not so wanted to be fair about that. My mom went in there to get my grandfathers watch fixed & the Caucasian-looking man at the counter looked at it as my mom held it out in her hand to show him & his response was "Oh no, I can't fix something like THAT!" very rudely & without even picking it up himself to examine it closer. He was very dismissive so she just left. She went to Griffith Jewelers where they made her feel welcomed & were more than happy to repair it & they did a beautiful job! She had been wanting to post the review for Exact Time for the past few years but never got to doing it. She is almost 71 y/o now & wanted to voice her experience for her while she is still alive & well. read more

I been going to this place since I was 15 years old. My father bought me my first nice watch then. I have been going there ever since. They really take good care of all my watch needs. The three year battery warranty is a really good deal . I always deal with Henry Choi when I go in and he takes care of me . He always makes the experience very personal able!!!!! read more

Don't go here for service!! My elderly parents took a family member's watch here to have a battery replaced. When they returned 10 minutes later to pick it up, the watch they were given was not the same one they dropped off. They dropped off a Citizen watch and were given a cheap replacement. They returned twice hoping the clerk would locate the watch, but never got it back. Absolutely shameful!! read more

I think the place changed owners in the last few months. Normally the staff are very professional, but when I came in half an hour before they closed on a weekday, this kid practically yelled at me when I walked in and rambled on and on when I just asked for a new battery. I instantly regretted handing over my Casio. He completely dismantled it and tinkered with the pieces for 10 minutes! It seemed ok, but the next morning half of the digital face stopped working, kaput. I don't know if I'll take it back, it's not worth the hassle. Avoid. read more

I am very impressed with his technical skills as well as his willingness to work with customers in order to find a cost effective solution for the repair. And, this guy IS The repairman. No boxing it up and shipping it off somewhere like you would find in a jewelry store. It is difficult to find a real old fashioned watch repair shop in the area. Just awful! Would never go back again. All I wanted was a battery for my watch and they tried to sell me a 99.00 package. When I told the rude very sloppy girl that worked there I would go elsewhere, she said good luck going to Walmart. I was gifted a watch from here and the sales person refused to adjust the fit of my watch unless I had a receipt and or wanted to pay $15 for it. The sales person was rude and unwilling to compromise with my situation. This watch was not cheap and I expect better service from a company that just sold me a watch for $300. NO THANKS!! With 3 weeks to go before Christmas, we walked into this store hoping they could help us locate a watch we were looking for as a gift for our son. "Oooooh sure, no problem, we can order that, should be in within 3-5 days". We are not 10 days after first walking into this place. And with each call, no one seems to know anything about the watch ordered. Just keep passing the buck from one to another, with call the store manager to check on the order. We did that. 6 hours later and no return phone call telling us about the status of our order. This was a GIFT!! And not one person there can answer our simple question.....just pass the buck around! Sorry, very poor customer service. No explanation as to where our order is...or the status. If I could give a ZERO I would. So disappointed!!! read more

This place is really awesome. Most watch/jewelry stores I have used are courteous enough but Exact Time is a big step over and above. I am fairly new to the area so I had to rely on the referral of an acquaintance for a watch battery when mine died on my Tag Hauer (which are not the easiest batteries to replace according to my jeweler buddy back in metro Detroit). They recommended Exact Time and I was so pleased with the service. Everyone that works there is super pleasant and knowledgable. I am pretty sure it was the owner who helped me out and not only did the battery get replaced promptly but we got into a conversation and he could tell how much the watch meant to me (it was a special gift years ago) so he recommended some additional testing i.e. water in the mechanics, etc). to make sure it was still running the best it could after 10 years. I agreed and it only took a couple of days and I was notified I could pick it up. Prices are very reasonable as well. In addition to their wonderful repair services they have a great selection of merchandise for sale. I am very excited to return during the Christmas season to purchase gifts for my loved ones. read more
