This place is a disaster! Even with a scheduled appointment, be prepared to wait an hour. What is…read morethe point of setting up a timed appointment if you are made to wait so long? I've been to several other LabCorp locations and have had excellent experiences, the appointment times were respected, and they provided friendly service. Decided to try this location, inside Legacy Emanuel, since it's closest to my house, important when doing fasting labs. And near my gym so I could combine the two trips. Arrived 15 minutes prior, as instructed, and checked in using the QR code on my appointment confirmation text. Done. This was the only smooth part of the process. Took my seat and waited and waited. Helped several older people check in who didn't have a QR code, and the system requires so much info, and these folks just couldn't figure it out or stand there long enough to keep typing in all the required info. No one who works there offered to help, so this is how I passed the time. After 30 minutes I walked into larger waiting room to see where my name was on the scrolling board of waiting patients. My name wasn't even there! I found a worker to help me, she confirmed I had checked in, and told me to wait. Again. Finally I was told to go to the hallway of lab rooms and pick one and wait. Since room #1 was occupied and a technician was drawing blood, I chose #2 after seeing that 3 and 4 were empty. One would assume that I was next. Wrong. I waited and waited, got up a few times to check out the other rooms, was told to go back to my room and someone would be with me. I waited and waited while those who entered this area were seated, assisted, and left. It was maddening. Especially hearing one tech in particular chatting away as if he was at a cocktail party. Do your job! Our time is important, too. Finally a tech came to my room, made some small talk of which I wasn't interested in, but since she is the one with the needle and drawing blood, I smiled politely and answered her questions. Finally left, well past the hour mark, and went right to my car and my thermos of coffee waiting for me. Will never, ever choose this location again.

Several gave up. Then he literally fished the needle around in my arm to find a spot. Will find somewhere else next time. Horrible care. If I could do no stars I would.

Easy, no appointment necessary, for lab work, part of the Providence network…read more After a doctor appointment on the first floor, the doctor requested lab work. I assumed I needed to head up the street to St. Vincent's Medical Center or the East Pavilion, but the doctor said, just go up to the 2nd floor and give them this paperwork. I said, 2nd floor of the Medical Center? No, just take the elevator up one floor. Note, building is in the process of getting painted so there were no signs (4/8/24.) After walking up and down a long hallway with no success, I stopped in a pediatric office and the receptionist told me the lab was in the hallway directly in front of the elevator. Walk across from the elevator, hallway goe off to right, about half way down on the right is LabCorp. The hallways are very sterile with small signage. Once inside, you do a self check in at the kiosk. The machine couldn't read my insurance card, no idea why, so I had to manually type in all the info. This happened to several other people so it definitely warrants being fixed. After that, I took a seat and waited my turn. Some people had set up an appointment so they were in front of me. There is a screen with people's initials so you can see where you are in the queue. My wait was about ten minutes. A little soft background music in the waiting area would enhance the environment. The technician was friendly, efficient, and most important, skilled. Hit the vein first time even though I was a bit dehydrated, and a minute later, done. I have an order for a repeat test for early June, and now that I know this lab exists, I'll stop here. There is a parking lot right out front, easy exit off 26, very convenient.

Dr. Go called me to tell me my results and treated me like an addict, interrogated me and made me feel so disrespected. I did a drug test that same day and it came out negative!! I do not recommend this site but if you MUST, make sure they place a patient label on the sample and have you sign the sample label!! Sarah took initiative and helped us out. She pulled me back and took care of making an appointment a Emmanuel for my son. I was already stressed out so the fact that she took her own time to drop everything and tell the front desk to print things out and call to schedule an appointment was great of her to do. She even printed out directions and highlighted things for me. When I first went in the front desk just said that they don't draw from children so little but when Sarah stepped in she took over and took care of everything for us. Great customer service! Thank you, Sarah. For going above and beyond especially during a crazy time.

First time at this facility for a ReClast infusion, necessary to help strengthen my bones. I…read moreregularly get iron infusions at Knight Cancer Institute so I'm familiar with the process. The staff was very caring and friendly. One nurse was too bubbly and chatty for my preference, but others may appreciate this type of interaction. The entire process was explained in detail. The rooms are not as nice at Knight Cancer Institute which are large, clean and quiet. At Providence, my room was right in front of the nurses station so very loud. At least there was a window with a hummgbird feeder, but no birds showed up this day. The nurses explained the side effects - aches, joint pain, chills, fatigue, nausea - similar to a flue or reaction to covid vaccine. They said severe effects are rare and they didn't know any patients who experienced them. Well, as luck would have it, mine were excruciating. The chills so bad my body was shaking for over 12 hours. Pain in my joints - every single joint including toes and fingers - plus the agonizing deep pain in my thigh left me crippled for two days. Brutal does not even begin to describe. Worst pain in my life and I've had 18 surgeries and several diverticulitis attacks The nurse at my doctors office recommended calling 911 for transport to the ER where they would treat the pain through an IV, but I didn't want to add that experience to this already dreadful situation. It's day three and the chills are gone, getting some energy back, and can walk within my house with a walker. Was able to take a shower and make a cup of coffee. Praying it's uphill from here. I'm supposed to get a ReClast infusion annually. Not happening. It's a one and one for me.
