I know they hire anybody that's been in the same room as a medical pamphlet to be a "Physician" at these places but for a $30 copay I at least expect them to be somewhat thorough or at the bare minimum at least care. My girlfriend went in for a nasty cough that she had for 2 weeks and Mark (aka the man posing as a medical expert) did 0 tests and totally brushed her off saying it was a common cold and she'd be fine. 5 days later my girlfriend gets severely worse so we go to a real Doctor who immediately identified she had a very serious lung infection after some simple tests. I've used zoom care in the past and been satisfied, but had an appointment at this location today and I could not have been more disgusted with their level of care. I work in healthcare myself and this care was the most disappointing I've ever experienced. I went in for a couple reasons - one, to get a higher dosage on a medication I've taken for years (can't get in with my PCP for months). Secondly, have had terrible back pain and have been told I likely need an MRI. The provider said she couldn't speak with me about any other issues, and if I wanted to address that I could make another appointment for another day (WTF?). I think the entire appointment was about 5 minutes, and she quite literally did nothing helpful aside from give me some referrals. She was not warm in any way, and it was a very uncomfortable experience. Not good when someone is struggling already, in any way shape or form. Here's the kicker - THEY TOOK NO VITALS. I'm predisposed for hypertension. At the end I asked them to at least take my BP, the nurse just sort of stared at me blankly with a "not happening" look. I cannot explain how shocked I am that vitals were not done first thing, REGARDLESS they should be for any patient, especially when the appointment is classified as illness/injury. Finally, as I was leaving there was a girl in the lobby who was clearly VERY sick, as in bending over eyes closed hyperventilating sick. They told her they couldn't see her!!!! I understand appointments are needed, but the clinic was clearly empty. At least refer her to the ER! Or do SOMETHING! THIS ZOOM CARE SUCKS. DO NOT GO. They care about making their money and getting their "patients" in and out as fast as physically possible. Gross. read more

Don't come to this location. They don't even test blood. They don't have any imagining service. And the PA (Gupta) that saw me was very unhelpful. I had to ask/beg her to please check my prior blood results. At the very least, go to a superlocation where they can do testing. I knew what was wrong and explained it, in great detailed, as I've been treated with a specific med before. I knew the outcome of it and said with this med...another issue with arise. I can't finish my previous review pointing out other people have told me the same thing happened to them at ZoomCare in Cedar Hills with refusal to provide antibiotics that resulted in patients declining and developing pneumonia to the point of having a pulmonologist neighbor stop her and ask her if she should go to the hospital. He said the treatment she was given should have included other interventions. WTH? This is extremely serious. Have people died? Does anyone know? You have these arrogant individuals posing as doctors in the know that clearly do not understand how flu's and colds work on people over 50 with asthma and a history of pneumonia when the weather changes. I just had an awful experience with the staff in the clinic, and they are Arisa and a guy at the front desk. A couple of days ago, I visited a doctor in the clinic but am not getting any better, even worse. She told me if I could not get any better, I should come back or follow up with seven days of free Chatcare. However, Chatcare can not be connected, not working at all after quite a few attempts. Then I had to reschedule an appointment since I felt really awful. I did not know they would charge me again for the reschedule. I arrived at the office 15 minutes in advance. The two staff repeated their rules: "pay first" and had no interest in listening to my explanation. I was feeling horrible and sweating while I interacted with them, telling them" I feel really bad now". However, they kept saying "you should pay first and that's our rule." I felt I was treated like shit. Then I went outside, took a deep breath. The appointment was 5:15 pm, and at 5:17 pm I returned again, they told me that they had canceled my appointment and refused to treat me, also they wanted me to pay extra money for wasting their time. I do not think such a clinic should be liked and trusted if they continue to treat their patients poorly. Later, I learned that they deliberately have no a general manager or provide a useless number to you if you have any complaints. Also, I want to let the clinic staff know that you have the power, rules, authority, and philosophy to run your business. It is completely okay. As a patient, I can not do anything else, but I can choose not to come to your clinic anymore and may suggest my families, relatives, friends, neighbors, and more not come either for protecting them from being treated poorly like you did to me, if you don't improve your service. read more

First of all, they don't check your temperature upon arrival. Every other medical and dental provider does this. In addition, I sat in the waiting room for 15 min past my appointment and the doctor wasn't even with anyone else. I had to pay out of pocket because Zoom wasn't able to get in touch with my insurance provider (probably because it's a Sunday), and then Zoom fails to call in two urgent medications to my pharmacy. I had to call Zoom three hours after my appointment to remind them. This place is a joke. read more

BEWARE! I have been going back and forth with both them and my insurance for over a month now with no luck. I paid my copay while there and weeks later they charged me more. I called them and was told my insurance said I need to be charged for a specialist visit, not primary. Called insurance who informed me that the billing doctor was a specialist, a name I didn't recognize because I saw a nurse practitioner, not a doctor. Turns out they billed me under the Chief Medical Officer. Trying to scam me for more money by billing this way and I still haven't received my refund. Make sure that if you go they bill it using the code of the person you visited because I'm probably not the only one they did this to. read more

Sceduled an appointment to go in and see someone about a chronic illness of mine. I went in and literally left 5 minutes later. All they did was check my temp, see if there was a scratch on my eye, and told me they could give me a referral and nothing else. After I went to the front desk, I asked about billing. It was 150 and I told the girl that If i could make payments and said I could pay 50. She said that was fine, took my card, and ran the whole amount. They were nice BUT it literally felt like you were just another $$ sign for them. If you want actual care, go to another facility. I'm really disappointed that 5 minutes cost me 150 dollars and wish I would have just set an appointment else where. read more

In the last 2 weeks, I have used Zoomcare for a virtual appointment, in person check up, X-rays and lab work. I looked into Zoomcare as it has been extremely difficult to get an appointment with a physician when needed. The average waitlist is 3+ months out here in Portland. I was able to get an appointment at a Zoomcare location within the same day and I felt this was top tier service. Dr. Chris Palacios was extremely thorough and really listened to all of my concerns. I can't recommend him enough! Additionally, I couldn't even feel the blood draw when it was taken as the young man who took this is a true professional. Two days later I have access to all of my lab work with a detailed message on next steps to take. Thank you Zoomcare! I would be stressing/extra anxious if it wasn't for you and the team. read more

After declining quality of care at my primary medical provider, I originally gave Zoom+Care a try, just to get my prescriptions updated and whatnot until I found a new provider. Surprisingly, I have found Zoom+Care to be an excellent substitute for my previous provider. I even bring my kids to Zoom+Kids. Aside from the perks that come along with all of the Zoom+ locations (which are many, and a selling point on their own), I'd like to give a special shout-out to the PA, Lauren Small. I went in for a wellness visit, and not only was she incredibly helpful in helping me continue on my path to wellness, she also remembered me after over a year, and was very friendly and helpful with suggestions and solutions. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful, as well. I left feeling like I had some control over my health, and thankful for all of my friends at Zoom+Care. The cherry on the top is that I got my blood test results in my email inbox within 24 hours, with helpful comments from a Zoom+ provider. So, within 24 hours I was able to make an appointment, go to that appointment, have blood drawn for blood tests, AND receive the results. I, like many these days, have an extreme aversion to talking on the phone. Zoom+Care's robust online communication system means I don't have to talk on the phone with ANYONE, and that might seem like a negative to many, but is a HUGE POSITIVE to me. read more

Seriously, this for me is absolutely the model of how urgent and immediate care clinics should run. I have been to the Tanasbourne location several times but recently came to this location for the first time. From the time I made an appointment (from my couch, online) to returning to my couch, having seen the doctor -- was under one hour. Okay, that might be even quicker than usual, but I've never found I've had to wait long at all to get in to be seen. For all of that efficiency, I didn't feel rushed. The doctor I saw was thorough, kind, and patient. My issue is now resolved too. Another top-rate experience with what I guess is now called ZOOM+Care. I booked online this time (because it was the middle of the night, my favorite time to book appointments), and got their first appointment, at 9am on a Sunday morning. The website tells you who you will see, which I thought was a nice touch. I had already been to my PCP's office for this particular round of sickness, and he had told me it would get better on its own. Unfortunately, he was clearly incorrect, because by Saturday night I was worse with new symptoms including symptoms of pinkeye (my worst nightmare). Knowing how contagious pinkeye is, and knowing that my roommate would change the locks if I gave it to her, I figured I shouldn't wait until Monday to get it checked out. I got there 10 minutes early, which I realized as soon as I got there was dumb because I was the first appointment of the day, so it wasn't open yet. But a few minutes before 9 they opened the doors. The front desk person was again friendly and professional, and quickly updated my insurance. The PA (Physician's Assistant) working that day, Lauren Small, was extremely warm, friendly, professional, and helpful. She asked me all about my symptoms (in an empathic way! Surprisingly rare in medicine these days) before doing a thorough examination. She then sat me down to tell me that not only did I have double pinkeye, I also had walking pneumonia. Oh, goody. She explained what this meant, what I could do about it, and answered all my questions. She offered a note if I needed one to take off work. I had three medications prescribed, and Lauren brought two of them to me right away--the third had codeine in it (a controlled substance), so I had to go to a pharmacy for that. I checked out ($44 including two medications!) and was out the door by 9:15. For comparison, I was at my PCP's office for over an hour and got an incorrect diagnosis, not to mention probably at least a $100 charge (which I never know until they send me a bill a month or two later). I just saw that ZOOM+Care has added primary care services, and after this visit, I am strongly considering switching over. Thank you again!! read more

Wow. It takes a lot for me to be impressed with medical care (I'm a former medic and medical assistant) and yet, here I am... seriously impressed! I was able to speak to someone right away on the phone I got my appointment made. This included getting my insurance information and my personal information into their computer, before I even arrived. I was taken back within a minute after I arrived by the PA. Just had to take my son there and he even mentioned that he likes this place. I've used zoom care for myself and my children a few times over the years, and most recently I was seen yesterday. I feel compelled to review because it is a remarkable experience. From scheduling online for an appointment available in less than an hour, to fast check in, to the doctor actually bringing you back and treating you right away (no MA who asks you all of the same questions the doctor will, with a long wait in between) visiting zoom care is easy, efficient, convenient, and no more expensive than the long drawn out visit to an urgent care. To top it off, I was able to leave with a reasonably priced prescription without having to be miserable in a pharmacy waiting and waiting. A+! Oh yeah, and they're friendly too! read more

Went here at the end of November for a sinus infection. Was prescribed Flonase that didn't do squat. Went to another doctor a few days later and received some antibiotics that knocked it out in 1 day. Watch out for their billing. Was told my insurance was in network before I decided to visit. 2.5 months later received a new bill that was "past due". Made a phone call to ZoomCare and was told because the doctor that saw me had a special degree, he was considered out of network and thus the increase in my co-pay. I've had several good apts with zoom and then I just had a chat with their NP because I am still coughing up some thick mucous from my lungs after a week of antibiotics. The NP told me this is normal and was happy to hear my sinuses were clear. FYI I NEVER had sinus/nasal congestion. I requested a week more of antibiotic and you would think I am drugy asking for pain meds. Nobody I know takes antibiotics for fun. At worse case to have a clear clinical picture she should of recommended another appointment instead she said " I am glad your feeling well" read more

So I had my first visit here the other day. The provider, Lauren Blanck, was awesome. I had a great visit. The aftermath of the visit was terrible though. I was told if I had any questions to logon to their website and submit a question. I did this twice and got no answer so I called to follow up and was told they had never received my questions, when the website each time said your question was sent. Both my husband and I took turns having Walking Pneumonia while we were in-between insurance and found ZoomCare. Love how you can schedule an appt. online, the medical care is what you can expect to pay for a doctor if you don't have insurance, but they are completely upfront with how much it is going to cost you, and if they have the medication available at the office it is also very reasonable ($10 without insurance). Dr. Small was great, such a nice Doctor, I remember how she treated the lady and 4 kids in front of me (still very sweet and nice). The front office was super clean, and the lady up front was super nice too. I am still trying to convince my husband to switch over to ZoomCare insurance. The girl at reception told me that the center did not take my insurance. It wasn't her fault in thinking that because I have term insurance, but when I asked her to call my insurance company to get the situation sorted out (which is what my insurance company recommends me to so whenever I go to the doctor), she wouldn't. I've never had someone just give up and not try to fix the situation like that before. The doctor was friendly but was not knowledgeable at all. I came in because of shooting pains in my abdomen and some nausea. She told me I probably have acid reflux and prescribed me nausea medication. I've never experienced acid reflux in my life but I know enough about it to know that shooting pains in your abdomen is not a sign of acid reflux. I went home and researched the medicine, come to find what I was given is usually prescribed to patients going through chemotherapy... WHAT???? Feeling uneasy about my visit, I called a gastroenterologist. She told me the zoom care doctor clearly had no idea what the symptoms of acid reflux are because none of my symptoms pointed to that. She told me to also immediately stop taking the medicine I was prescribed. So not only was I incorrectly diagnosed, I was prescribed something that was doing more damage to my body.
