My new favorite car I've ever owned.
    William H.

Note: this is an updated 1 star review. I purchased a 2014 VW Sportwagen via financing and about a quarter of the cars worth in a down payment. My credit is what most banks like to call "very poor," but they gave me a better deal than I was expecting. Rory was very enthusiastic, and made sure to answer all my questions. I showed up around 8:15, and had the keys in my hand around 11. I pointed out a crack, in the windshield, and it was written in my contract that they'd replace the whole thing for me pro bono. There were a couple faults, in the car, that I didn't discover until my ride home but only minor cosmetic. I was told a "thorough inspection had been done on it, but I'm not entirely sure how thorough as the EPC light, and flashing CEL came on that same night. I took it back in, the next morning, and they sent me right next door to their service center and had it looked at. Turned out that just one of the spark plugs was misfiring. They went ahead and changed all of them out for me totally free of charge. Now I'm back to loving the car, and feeling good about my purchase. I would recommend checking them out, but I'd also recommend having your own inspection of the vehicle done before purchasing.

I was and am still extremely impressed with the professionalism of this dealership. Drew worked with me from the beginning to make a fair offer on my trade and sell the new vehicle at a fair purchase price. He knew that I was driving several hours to meet and arranged to have all the paperwork ready at my arrival. There were no tricks, gimmicks, or surprises. They kept their word and honored all the agreements. Even the finance manager was understanding of my situation and made the process even easier. I have bought many cars over the years and recognize this is a top-notch operation. I will certainly return for my next purchase.

I feel the design should be reconsidered, it unsafe when you have to unload cargo and crawl into rear compartment to jump vehicle . When I left, I felt heard and reassured after talking to Shelby.

Normally don't write Yelp reviews for car dealerships, but making an exception because one of the car guys (Steven? Stephen?... sorry forgot his first name but Mr. Huang the Asian car salesmen) was exceptionally helpful. At the other locations, I felt intense but subtle pressure to walk away with a purchase as if it was a crime against humanity if I didn't buy something that day. Stephen acted completely differently and gave me honest and real advice. He made me realize I should keep my current car for a little bit and see if it meets my needs, and only then, should I consider purchasing a new one. I didn't buy a car that day from any dealerships, but if I needed to in the future, I'm definitely making Lithia my first (and likely final) stop.

When I finally got an appointment scheduled, they had the wrong model of my truck on file. After waiting another 1-2 weeks for the appointment, I brought my truck in--only to be asked twice if I was there for (1) an oil change or (2) an engine light issue. Neither was correct. I was then sent to a different service advisor who didn't have any information about my truck at all. Why? Because when I originally made the appointment, no one even asked what I was bringing the vehicle in for--they just gave me a date and time and hung up. I have messages and call records if anyone wants proof. Communication throughout the entire process was terrible. I dropped my truck off at 7:40 AM and didn't receive a single update. The service link they provide showed no progress all day. I finally had to call at 3:13 PM, only to be told Justin was working on my truck but had another appointment he was focused on. When I asked if that meant my truck was done, I was told no--it simply wasn't being worked on. They said they would call me back, but I never heard from them. I had to call again at 4:22 PM because there were still no updates online and no communication from their team. That's when I was finally told what the issue was and that a part needed to be ordered, which would take about 14 days. I was also told I couldn't get a rental because the truck was "drivable"--even though it shakes worse than turbulence on a plane. To make matters worse, both Justin and the supervisor told me, "You've been driving it like that, so you might as well keep driving it like that." That response was completely unacceptable. There was also conflicting information about the part. One employee told me it would be overnight shipped, while the manager later seemed unaware of that and clarified it would take 2-3 days. Since when does "overnight" mean anything other than 24 hours? Overall, the lack of communication, organization, and basic professionalism was shocking. I was repeatedly called the wrong name, and they even got my truck's model and year wrong. On top of everything, I felt like I was treated differently and poorly as a woman. Very disappointing experience If the owner of this establishment would like to reach out I would be glade to have a chat with him.

Once I drove the Tesla off the lot, everything changed. Calls went unanswered, messages ignored, and any sense of customer service disappeared. I purchased an extended warranty and was clearly told it could be canceled within the first month for a full refund. When I tried to cancel, my salesperson said it wasn't his department and promised someone would contact me. No one ever did. I spent weeks chasing responses--calling, leaving messages, and getting passed between employees. When I finally reached someone in finance, I was told they needed the mileage and that the refund process could take up to 8 weeks. I provided everything immediately and waited. Eight weeks passed. No refund. From there, it became a pattern of avoidance. Calls were dodged, messages ignored, and I was repeatedly given new contacts who promised to "take care of it" but never followed through. I even asked to speak with the owner and was refused. After months of this, I was forced to resolve the issue myself through my loan company. It took nearly five months to finally get my refund--without a single follow-up, apology, or acknowledgment from the dealership. Because of this delay, I ended up paying around $400 in unnecessary interest on a $3,500 warranty that should have been canceled immediately. This was, without question, the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Once they have your money, don't expect support, communication, or accountability. I will never do business here again.

The whole team went above and beyond and had me in and out of there in a matter of hours with the exact deal I wanted on the exact car I wanted. Even had it shipped over from Seattle within 48 hours. Thank you, Dan and Joel. I love my car so much and I appreciate your support to get 'er done. PS -- oh and the warranties cover me for EVERYTHING. They said it was neglected and despite the fact there were NO check engine/check oil lights that ever turned on (their diagnostics confirmed it). There is ONE missing oil change receipt spanning 11,000 miles that cannot be located. Therefore, Hyundai "main" company and Speck both refused to honor the warranty and do the right thing. It's a shame because I have enjoyed both of my Hyundai's and my current one is 9 years old, spent most of its time in my garage when not being driven, and is in excellent condition. If you want loyalty once you walk out the door with your car, don't buy from here. What a major disappointment from a place I was going to purchase another car from one day soon.
