I never post reviews but Excalibur Collision deserves all of the praise and local patronage! I somehow managed to wreck my car three times in a span of two months and Nick was along for the ride the whole time. He was incredibly responsive and made the process so easy for me. They do great work and I'll recommend everyone here from now on!!

Thank God and the heavens above for EXCALIBUR! First of all let me tell you I hate to see Excalibur, because that means something horrible has happened to one of my cars. But thank God Excalibur is there. You see I have a very unique car, or at least unique and special to me. I have a 2008 Saturn Sky roadster. Parts are extremely hard to find. On top of that I wrecked my car the day GM workers went on strike. Alex and Nick with the help of the team went well above and beyond your average customer service. Securing the rare parts, and working with my insurance company ,which everyone knows it's not easy. Not only did they secure authentic hard to fined parts they did an impeccable job matching everything exactly, from the paint, to the undercarriage and all the way to the door seals. On top of that, I continually got updates on the progress of my car. At one point they even called me to mention that my battery was low. Most people this wouldn't think this was an extraordinary thing however my battery sets way under the fender well, into the passenger cockpit side. To change the battery is no easy Or cheep process. Not did they call me to inform me the battery was low, on the Sky but they offered to pick it up and install it at no extra charge to me or the insurance company. The only cost to me was the price of my battery, which I got a wonderful discount through Excalibur's connections. They also went above and beyond on standard service when GM could not send air handler cover part due to the boycott in progress. The team at Excalibur repaired my cracked air handler cover at no charge, and then replaced it with the new air handler cover When GM strike was over and the parts arrived. Excalibur did all that just so I could have my car back and get me on the road while the strike was going on. I also had some door dings repaired while my Sky was in. I had previously checked about getting the door dings repaired as this car is very special to me. The quote was $1000. It was a fair quote, as they had to remove the door panel match the paint to the door and both sides of the door. However at that time I decided I would have to wait. Alex was gracious enough to offer to fix my door dings while the car was in being worked on, which saved me $750 bucks. Alex and Nick also negotiated with the insurance company on my behalf to polish and refurbish my rims. Alex and Nick negotiated with the insurance company to take care of half of the rim refurbishing. This point I'm sure you think I'm done. However I've got tuns more things I could mention of why Excalibur is above and beyond the best in collision repair, but I have things I have to do. So I'm going to mention just one more extraordinary thing about Excalibur. I picked up my car ecstatic to see that it looked better than ever imagined. And when I got home I realized that the drivers door was sporadically not locking or unlocking with the remote. I went back to Excalibur and talk to Alex, even though my insurance claim was already settled, Alex went back to the insurance and insisted/negotiated that they fix my door lock. Now my car looks and runs like it just drove off the showroom floor. And I am one step closer to entering into car shows. Thank you Alex and Nick and the entire Excalibur team. You and your amazing team have a made a customer and a spokesman for Excalibar for life. I only wish I could add more stars.

    Very pleased!

SHUT UP. Just SHUT UP. I am so stinkin pleased with the entire experience that was having my car repaired. After sideswiping my car on the drive-thru sign and dragging my bumper behind me through the death trap that is White Rock Coffee's parking lot, I looked to my friends at Yelp for guidance. After reading yelp and getting quotes all over town, I felt Excalibur was the decision for me. In addition to the incredible reviews, they were the only collision center that DIDN'T suggest replacing all THREE panels that had been scraped (cut open like a can opener would be a solid comparison actually). Alex looked at the damage when I went for a quote. He couldn't have been nicer as he told me his exact plan of action for the suggested repairs. Where every other quote had included 3 new "xyz panels" (it was a big scrape, ok!), Alex said they'd actually use their knowledge of how things work and put the broken shit back together. Gee, what a novel idea. About a week after getting my quote, I was in the Excalibur for the repair. My insurance covered car rental was for 30 days so I was in absolutely no rush, but Alex let me know that if I came in on a Monday morning they'd try to have me back in my car by Friday afternoon. Thursday afternoon comes and I get a call from Nick at Excalibur. He says they've done the repair and are priming my car. I ask him what that means to a layperson and he says that means it'll probably be ready Friday afternoon ;) Of course, going as smoothly as it all did, Nick calls to say my car is ready Friday at 2. I was a bit worried all week about having a "quote", having never had a collision repair before, I didn't know if the quote would change a whole lot or a whole little or not at all. I ask him. Original quote $2014, final cost $2027. Id' say thats pretty damn fair and damn good. The highest I heard from big name collision places was up to $3600, so needless to say I was pleased with the cost as well as the service. thanks Excalibur!!!!

Alex and Nick are exceptional! A very honest and trustworthy crew! They gave me the fairest estimate in the downtown Dallas area and made me feel comfortable with all the details and work they would be doing. Not only did they did an amazing job repairing my car, but they also called and kept me informed with anything new and daily updates. My car damage was estimated on Friday, dropped off on Monday and picked up first thing Friday morning! Thanks so much Excalibur!

I did extensive research of all the major body shops around Dallas and it is clear without a doubt that Excalibur is the best choice when considering the quality/standard of the work, the cost, and the overall customer experience. I baby my car, so I paid attention to every detail as I went around getting estimates before deciding to go with Excalibur. Nick was down to earth, friendly, knowledgeable, and worked with me on keeping the cost down as I was paying out of pocket. I dropped my car off on a Monday, and picked it up on Thursday. Nick called me regularly and kept me updated every step of the way, and Alex was equally helpful and professional after the repair was done. As you can see from the pictures, the quality of the repair is top notch. If you're unlucky enough to need body work done, save yourself the trouble and go straight to Excalibur!

After. Looks like new again !!

NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP FOR REPAIR! On December…read more20,2024 I was involved in a minor accident on the Tollway. The right rear panel and rear passenger door were damaged. The car was easily driveable however a tow truck appeared and offered to take my car to the nearest collision center which was Xtreme Collision. It was not a preferred shop for State Farm Insurance but I was reassured by both the shop and State Farm that this was not unusual and the repairs could be done there. I thought it would be a 6 week project and all would be well. Week after week ,month after month I was told it was progressing. I finally went down to the shop and was shocked to see that they had completely dismantled my car, replacing parts that were not damaged in the accident. The car was leased, only three years old , low milage and high residual value. I was told that dismantling of my car was necessary in order to paint it appropriately. Soon my allotted rental car appropriation had been exhausted and I was then renting from Enterprise at my own expense. The lease on my damaged car was up at the end of April and then I was paying daily lease on the car in the shop since I had no car to return at the lease end. In late May the shop still was unable to complete the work and State Farm decided to declare the car a total loss and cut their losses with the shop. The shop would have received several thousand more if they had finished the job. The fact that they decided to accept the lesser payment for a total loss suggests that they were unable to finish the job. I believe that this shop is dishonest, deceptive and incompetent. They did way more on my car than necessary in order to gain more payment from the insurance company. In the end they had taken it apart and were too incompetent to put it back together again. I had a 4000 dollar rental from Enterprise because I was without a car for over 5 months . I had continued lease liability on the car in the shop because I could not turn it in on time. As noted above, the total time of this ordeal was 5 months, two weeks.

What should have been a one week process turned into a three month nightmare of shop negligence, property damage, and management avoiding accountability. * Exterior Damage: While replacing my rear bumper, they chipped the edge and tried to use a paint marker to cover up their mistake. Afterwards, they failed to properly blend the paint from the bumper repair to the quarter panel. In trying to fix it across multiple return trips to the body shop, they ended up repainting my pristine front door and fender, ruined the hand painted pinstripe, and chemically damaged my taillights while trying to correct the paint. Currently, the fender still does not blend with my hood and the taillight still has chemicals damages. * Interior Damage: The shop allowed paint overspray to get all over my car's interior. Instead of hiring a professional tint specialist to address the overspray on my high end LLumar FormulaOne Pinnacle Ceramic window tint, shop employees aggressively wiped it down with harsh chemicals instead of replacing it. * Incompetent Inspection Protocols: When I raised concerns about the structural integrity and Infrared (IR) heat rejection of my ceramic film after chemical exposure, Body Shop Manager Brandon Gillespy tried to use his UV meter he personally bought to "prove" the tint was fine. * Management Dismissal: When escalated to the Director of Body Shop Operations, Eric McKenzie, I was met with complete dismissal. He refused to authorize a professional inspection at an authorized LLumar dealer and claimed the car "looked great" visually. After I requested a thorough inspection of the rest of the interior, Brandon and Eric both insisted it was great. However, I later found paint overspray on my radio receiver and front window, alongside damage to my tint. This shop damaged my luxury vehicle's exterior, compromised my premium ceramic window film, and then tried to "grade their own homework" to dodge liability. They are now completely ignoring my emails. If you care about your factory paint, your high-end aftermarket additions, or professional customer service, do not trust Brandon, Eric, or the team at Park Place BodyWerks. Take your luxury vehicle elsewhere.
