I wanted another pair for walking and hiking because I love the zero-drop design and wide toe box. I explained exactly what I was looking for, but the employee helping me abruptly told me these were running shoes and essentially couldn't help me because I wasn't a runner. The interaction left me feeling dismissed. I ended up ordering two pairs of Altras online instead, and they've now carried me for more than 500 miles of walking and hiking.
