The male manager wasn't using good English at all and was not professional as a store manager should be. We tried to cancel the hat he had started and just check out with the one hat that wasn't customized, but he made us leave the store once I said he did not have good customer service, I did not have an attitude and those were my words, he then went to say "do you guys a problem with me" and got up close to my face and told us that we needed to leave the store. I do not recommend going to this store if that make manager is there. He did not greet us nor let us just check out with the one item, once I complained about his customer service.

I found decor for my playroom and for a great clearance price too it's worth looking in the back. Something I didn't care for was that two or three cashiers at the front were having their own loud conversation that wasn't very appropriate and they did not have the professionalism to cut the convo short for a minute and just resume after we checked out. The young man we had as our cashier though was incredibly professional and ultra polite. So I repeated the process and this time she said I have to call Corporate. It came up as a duplicate purchase. The manager comes over and he's TRYING to explain to me that it didn't go through. Until I pulled up my bank account and the debt is already out of my account. I showed him my account 3 times and he kept saying it will drop off. No it won't it already came out of my account that's why it's saying duplicate. After he comes back he brings a receipt that's 5 minutes after the first receipt that says voided in store. It wasn't a void. My daughter was being really polite but he came off as rude, very rude. He wasn't listening to what we were saying. His facial expression showed he didn't care it was his way or no way. He then said she has to pay for it ...again. I said no I don't want it. The two people working were amazing. They saw I was handicapped and needed just a little more help. They smiled and talked to me with respect just as I was doing with them. Bryce the manager was very rude and didn't care that it came out of My account all he wanted to do was mansplane to us. When my daughter asked his name he said it with an attitude. For no reason. No one raised their voice at him not once. I love Sephora but I will never in my Life go back to that location because of him. He makes no one want to shop. And they are having a good sale.

They have a decent mix of the two things you are apt to find in downtown Anchorage gift shops: 1) Wildly underpriced goods (magnets, t-shirts, bookmarks, wall art, etc.) made in China. 2) Very spendy items (soaps, salves, syrups, carvings, etc.) made in Alaska by Alaskans. This is my Mom's favorite downtown gift shop. The clothing and stuffed animal sections here are particularly massive. Though you aren't going to find any technical/pragmatic/outdoor clothing, this is all chiefly gear to let folks in the lower 48 know that you've been to Alaska. If you're a local, the advantage of going here is to see all the various Alaska-made goods in one place, so you can go patronize those individuals and companies directly.

This shop is located just across the hallway of the Planet Fitness gym in the Northway Mall. The…read morestore is massive and they have all sorts of sports accessories, clothes, jerseys, and memorabilia here. The employees here were friendly and the man who runs this store definitely knew his topics on sports teams, transactions, free agent signings, and player statistics. I came in here just expecting to browse, but I found several great items for my football team that I couldn't pass up. It took awhile before I had to make several decisions on what I wanted to buy. Being originally from San Diego, I found several cool items with the Chargers team name and logo. I found an Authentic NFL Jersey with #99 Joey Bosa, the Defensive End from Ohio State who was taken by the Chargers in the first round of the NFL Draft earlier this year. I also came across a large Car Window Decal with the Bolt logo, a Coffee Mug with the team name and logo, and a large Beach Towel that has the Chargers football helmet displayed with the team name. There were others that I really wanted but I decided to keep my budget in mind. A more detailed selection of items on any of your favorite sports team include leather wallets, wall clocks, street signs with the team's name, beer mugs, shot glasses, baseball caps, sweatshirts, winter jackets, fleece blankets, workout gloves, tees, and large flags to name a few. However, the best find in this store is that they sell NFL football tickets for any game in the country for the upcoming season! I saw tickets being sold for Thursday Night Football on Oct. 13th between the Super Bowl Champion Denver Broncos and the Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego! Wow! They are not cheap at $900.00 for two tickets but the seats are in the 10th row behind the team bench at the 30-yard line! As much as I wanted to snatch those tickets up for such great seats, financial responsibilities and my computer certification studies brought me back down to earth. This was the first time I came across a sports novelty store that sold tickets like this. I plan to save up some money now so I can hopefully snag some good seats here in a couple of months if there are some still available. This is an awesome place for any sports fan and a great way to start a collection of items for your favorite team on any sport whether it's pro football, baseball, basketball, hockey, and college.

They carry so many products that many may not think of like Grundens, Yeti, Xtratuf, Hydro Flask, Vision-X Lighting, Mustang Inflatable Vests, Ladner Shrimp Pots, Shrimp Pot Pullers, Shrimp Bait, and Salmon Sisters to boot. Their prices are excellent too, with no crazy markups. They have an Amazon storefront, but I highly recommend checking them out in person... which of course is cheaper than ordering online too!

Michelle showed us an Instagram post from just 9 hours earlier and tipped us off about salmon fishing. She was incredibly knowledgeable and walked us through exactly what to do (I didn't totally follow but my husband did luckily). After already paying $$$$ for a guided fishing tour with no luck, we were honestly both excited and weren't sure if it's something we could do it on our own. But she was absolutely right!! We rented waders, fishing rods, and everything we needed right there, and followed her rod set up instruction and all the boys had an amazing time--ending up catching a large salmon (we could have caught more but we got to the river so late..) ! The rental process was easy and they had all the gear on hand. It was our first Alaskan trip and what could have been a pretty average trip turned into something unforgettable, thanks to Michelle and Dave. It ended up being an adrenaline-filled experience, and we'll definitely be coming back next year. Thank you Michelle and Dave!
