My car was vandalized and required paint in the entire driver side. The office staff was pretty short with me when I was trying to navigate the process but I was willing to overlook that if the repairs were done well. After them having my truck for ten days to paint four panels, they acted like they wanted to keep it longer and my husband had to call and demand that it be completed on time. We were paying out of pocket for a comparable rental and had already far surpassed the amount we normally pay for our car payment each month. Magically, the car was suddenly able to be finished on time. When I picked it up it looked fine. I didn't notice any issues with the paint. I did however find some loose parts in my trunk which annoyed me (small gaskets and such). Then I noticed that my wiper fluid alert came on when I started the car. I found this very odd as I had actually filled the wiper fluid reservoir the night before dropping my vehicle off at excel. I figured maybe they emptied it to prevent me from using the wiper fluid and accidentally messing up the new paint. No biggie. I bought another jug of wiper fluid and filled it up. The next morning I came out to my garage and found a puddle of wiper fluid under my car and the alert came on again. I realized that they might have punctured my wiper fluid reservoir when taking panels off the car so I emailed them to start the process of getting this issue remedied. I was really mad because I was about to give birth and couldn't have my car unavailable to me and it was just another hassle I didn't want to deal with after my car being in the shop for ten days. The initial response was "we never touched your wiper fluid reservoir. Not our problem". When I pressed them they said "maybe it got disconnected but we weren't even near it". That made it obvious to me they don't even know anything about my car because they had to have touched it to remove the front fender. Eventually they agreed for me to bring it in and see if something was done wrong by them. My husband took it in and they claimed it was disconnected but they couldn't fix it that day and we had to bring it back and leave it. He told them we would bring it after I gave birth. We never ended up taking it back in because I sold it. All in all they are severely lacking when it comes to customer service and just general pleasantness and honesty/taking responsibility. The work seemed ok but like I said they caused other issues that brought me stress and would have cost me money if I needed to get a rental car, etc. I wouldn't recommend this shop and I certainly won't go back if I ever need work done. I have been going to Excel Auto Body & Paint on several occasions and have recommended friends to them for their excellent customer service and quality of their work. Today I have the misfortune of writing this because they majorly dropped the ball. I was expecting my truck to be repaired, out of pocket mind you. After about a few days or so going back and forth and getting an estimate, I was okay with going forward with the repairs. From the time of April 26-June 6, I heard nothing from them! When to bring in my truck, or if they needed a down payment to order parts. I went out of my way to correspond with them by email, phone, or showing up to their place of business. I was getting the run around with them, and the reply by Andy who works there. His answer would be; let me get back to you, and I would here nothing. I placed a phone call to speak with the manager and/or owner, but to no avail, but my message would be relayed to them to call me back! Nothing!!!! I called today, finally got to talked to someone who was in charge (Lucy) and the same thing. I felt like I was getting the run around and ended up talking to Andy again. This was coming from the manager or owner who I said that I was calling to make a complaint. After speaking with Andy again, I told him how I was displeased and disappointed, after all these years of going to their place of business. He wanted to rectify the situation and get my credit card information and start ordering parts! I said no that will not be happening now, and that you have lost my business with Excel going forward. This really is unfair and unfortunately not very good on their part? You can't get good customer service anymore or anywhere. Sad. Just sad. Jess read more

Absolutely the worst place to bring your car to. Inconsiderate of my time and I had to bring my car to them twice and still didn't get everything working like it was before the accident. They also did not do a complimentary detail like Advanced Auto body does. They are unethical and untrustworthy. I will never go here for anything else. read more

I brought my Suburban in after my husband was in a really bad accident. He was as rear ended and cause him to also hit the car in front of him. ( The car that hit him was totaled, brand new GMC denali) We went through our state farm insurance. We got a call from state farm the next day after dropping off the vehicle, telling us that it may be getting totaled and to get our items out of the vehicle. When we arrived at Excel they begin telling us that it was not going to be totaled, there was no way and that is when the attitude began. The suburban was fixed without getting our consent as we were going to request a 2nd opinion. When we picked up the truck there was no walk trough on what was fixed just here are the keys and read the paper to know what was fixed. Well the dash board has a 2 huge cracks and the vehicle is rattling underneath. We called state farm and they called excel and stated that they cant tell if it was cause by the accident. (It wasn't there before the accident and neither was the rattling) so here we are left with a shitty job and not even sure if the car is safe at this point. Going to go take it to get a second opinion now to fix what they cant. Obvisoulsy they wanted the pay out and could care less about the vehicle or our chidrens safety in this car. 0 stars if I could. But I guess I will give you 1 as it is my only option. read more

The damage to my car was not huge, but estimates to repair it (from other shops) approached 40% of the 14-year-old car's value. I took it to Excel for a third opinion. Fernando's estimate for a full repair was much less than the other quotes I received. I talked with him about a minimal, cosmetic repair as an alternative to putting a lot of money into my old car. He agreed to try to pop out the major dent, and did a great job. It took less than a day and I got a very good result for a fraction of the other quotes. If I could give Excel Auto Body 0 stars I would. Hands down the worst experience I have had in a long time. I will break down my whole experience with the readers. Tuesday I walk into Excel and ask for a quote on my car, Luci jumped out of her seat and came out of her office to escort me to my car for the inspection. THe first thing Luci did was stick on her glasses for 5 seconds take them off and walked back into the building. THAT WAS MY INSPECTION. (my car got hit by my friends lifted diesel that has a Big Hook in the back. Most of the damage was on the hood of my 986) in my mind 5 seconds to do a full inspection was really short. But trusted her ability to spot what was wrong with the car. I sent the damage quote into the Insurance company where they called Excel to agree on quote and how much it would cost. I called excel the next day (Wednesday) To tell them I am going to go throw with the body work. I was then told I would receive a call on when the part would come in. Monday rolls around I have yet to receive a call from Luci, so I go ahead and call her back. INSTANTLY when she hears it was me calling about my car she gives me attitude. SO MUCH THAT I WANTED TO HANG UP! She yelled at me telling me "I said I was going to call you when the part came in! Not when it was going to come in". So I was then told that they wont get the part till the next week. (which in my experience ANY body shop could receive a OEM part within 24 hours) So why was it going to take a week? I shoved that to the side and brought my car into the shop the following week and received a ride to my rental. That Saturday my car was finished and I would be able to see it the following Monday. I show up expecting a WONDERFUL job due to the amount of time it took them. I get there only to see that the paint they sprayed on my car was more orange and the front bumper was more blood red. So I told Luci that the color didn't match or was ANYTHING near matching. SHE IMMEDIATELY threw her a temper tantrum and stormed off through a random door that I had no idea was there. Now my friend and I are in the middle of their machine shop with no employees around and had no idea where I was.... Finally an employee saw us 15 minutes later. I tried to explain to him that the color didnt match (which he agreed). So I drove off without paying or picking up my keys. Finally after having someone else talk to Luci for me and deal with her crazy attitude. In the end they just painted the front bumper so it matched. I WILL NEVER go here again and will never suggest their work to anyone I know. read more

for being a AAA direct network account this owner has no respect for its customers and treats them very rudely, I took my 2009 Honda Civic in for a Vandal repair and was shocked to get my car back with over spray, is there no Quality Control to oversee customer vehicles before being returned to the customer. I then ask if I can get the car completely polished and was charged 150.00 for repairing the mess they left on my car and now have swirel marks on my hood and Luci the owner says that is the best they can do to repair the mess they created, the original damage was on the driver door and the over spray they left was on my hood, I would not return there for any future business read more

I have taken my 2016 Honda Accord coupe to Excel on two separate occasions. The first occasion was for the installation of a rear deck spoiler. Most recently, I brought my vehicle in to conduct some body work to the surface of the hood. The price quotes for each job was very competitive and fair. In each instance, the work was done in a timely fashion. With regards to the recent body and paint work, the paint matched perfectly.
