I had brought my 07 Mustang GT here a couple of years ago after a guy made an illegal left turn in front of me and I crashed into him. Well Geico did what all insurance companies do and refused to fix my car. The damage was about $7,000 and they valued my car at $8,000. Gimme a break. My car was heavily modified and the engine had been replaced about 30,000 miles previously and cost almost $8,000. Needless to say I am no longer with Geico. Great customer service and quality work! I took my BMW to Larry after my car's paint got chipped and my windshield was cracked from a gravel truck. Also, the shield under my car was wrecked. Larry took a look and explained to me what he could fix. When I was unable to get a ride to Enterprise, Larry offered me a ride over to get my rental. Very kind of him. My parents brought my 2007 BMW 328i to Larry to have some damage appraised that occurred while at his friend's shop, Fred's European Asian Automotive. My mother had to take the day off work to be able to bring the vehicle in during their operating hours. After over a week of not hearing back, my mother took the initiative to follow up with Larry who claimed he "lost her number" and that Fred was only willing to cover "$500". [After Fred had initially told my mother that he would cover the entire cost.] Naturally, my mother became even more frustrated, but Larry just advised her to air her grievances with Fred. Oh, and she would need to bring the vehicle in AGAIN to have the damages appraised. Really? I am a gear head and set unrealistic expectations when other people work on my cars. That being said, I am a repeat customer of Morgan Hill Auto Body. Larry and his team always go above and beyond for their clients. They are professional and are excellent with communicating the progress of the repairs. They have consistently exceeded expectations on quality. The moment my M3 was peppered by debris from construction equipment in tow I knew exactly who I was going to for repairs. They had to repaint the entire front end of my car and replace the windshield. The factory color is black with blue metallic that is extremely difficult to match. TLDR; High quality work, great customer service, my to go body shop! A good example of how a local business can survive by focusing on quality and customer care. Long answer: I had a car accident, and my insurance towed my car to one of their "preferred" shops. There they provided a non-sense evaluation for cost of repairs (2-3x of the actual cost) and pushed the insurance to go for a total loss while the vehicle was far from being done. Fortunately, I got in touch with Larry and he came to rescue my car. He made arrangements to move my car to his shop, and started working on it. He got my car to an outstanding shape with 30% of what the big-corporate "preferred" shop was asking for. And don't get me wrong, Larry is NOT "some random cheap mechanic guy" to put a bandaid on your car. He has around 30 years of experience under his belt and his rates are marginally higher than other shops in the area. However, you'll end up saving quite a lot simply since he would only do what's needs to be done, nothing more and nothing less. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of work done on my car and I'd recommend their service to anyone in need. read more

Larry Biral became aggressive and evasive every time I called to inquire about progress, even after he was way out past the time line. He lied about the insurance company delaying approvals and used it as an excuse to delay working on my vehicle. I ended up paying over $750.00 extra for car rental costs after the 30 days coverage expired. When I came back and asked him to address faulty work on my car, instead of taking care of it, he pushed back and tried to blame me for his workmanship. I had to take the vehicle to Toyota and pay over $300.00 to fix what he refused to complete. I think that he had already decided that I was gullible after stupidly already going through the same experience on the prior repair. Honesty is essential to stay in business in a customer services establishment. I am surprised he is still around. read more

PROFESSIONAL, EXPERT WORK! I have dealt with Larry and his team on two occasions. My first time was about five years ago when I damaged my front end of my BMW 325i. He was recommended by another body expert. I was very pleased with the speed and expertise of their work, especially with the extensive repairs required. Because of this experience, I did not hesitate in contacting Larry last week when I had a bumper dent in my current BMW 328I. He look at the damage and indicated he would try to repair the dent first without ordering a new bumper panel. I picked up the car four days later and no one could tell that the bumper was repaired. The color match and finish were perfect. Living in Mountain View, having my car repaired in Morgan Hill was not that convenient, but it makes it easier to accept, when you know the quality of work. I originally had a better review, mostly because I was waiting for something to get fixed that never was. I first came here for a car repair after getting rear-ended on the freeway. The work was done fairly quickly and it all looked good when I got it back. The problem was, after a car wash, I found lots of water in the truck. I told him when I first brought in the car that I was hit hard, but he kept saying that it didn't look back, until halfway through the repair they found more extensive damage and had to do extra work. So, I told him after I had it for just a couple of days that it was leaking water and it NEVER leaked before, even in torrential rains on the freeway. Now it was leaking in the trunk and up in the front passenger side. (I was hit on the passenger side rear.) I hate leaks!!!!!!! I brought it bak and left it for a couple of days, but he said he found no leaks. Now I realize he never really checked. In addition to the repair work, I also had him tint my read taillights, which turned out great. My second time in with the same car, the front had been sandblasted by a truck dropping rocks and sand. Insurance amazingly covered the damage and they were paying for re-painting of most of the car. I negotiated with Larry to do some extra work and I would do some of the repair work myself to save of the costs (to get the other stuff done). He was very agreeable to this arrangement. After the first week in the shop, I got the headlights to polish them up rather than getting new headlights which are very expensive to put that money toward the other work. About a week later, he called a couple of times to get the lights back, like he was in a rush, so I had to rush my work to get them back. And this is where things start to suck: My car ended up being in that shop for over 3 months!!! First, why the rush to get the headlights back when they were not even re-installed until two-and-a-half months later?!! So, on top of the headlight thing, he didn't paint the pillars around the front windshield which CLEARLY needed it and were on the list!! Also, he didn't re-paint the mirror housings. He could have at least given me the mirrors, since they were off the car, so I could re-paint them myself (and they were off the car for at least two months). He said he didn't repaint the front pillars because I wasn't replacing the windshield, like that should have any bearing. (It was "harder" to paint.) And, amazingly, the little panel that supports the third brakelight on this car was completely neglected: I assumed it would just get done or he'd tell me it wasn't going to be. It really stands out (in a bad way) now. After not having my car for the entire summer, I had to leave it BACK in the shop for over a week to get the window pillars re-painted (like they were supposed to be in the first place). I also complained again about the water leak in the trunk again. When I picked up my car, he said he poured water on it but couldn't find the leak. He must have used a coffee cup of water. I took it to a car wash and sprayed it and found the leak: the third brake light was no longer sealed properly due to the metal having been bent from the rear-ender that I first brought my car in for!! And, had he painted that metal part like he should have, the leak would have likely been resolved with a new gasket. So, MOST of the car looks great, and the one mod I asked for - I wish I could recall the name of the guy that did the welding - looked awesome. The leak is SUPER irritating and is now leading to some mildew/mold issues. The passenger side floor/carpet also gets soaked when driving in rains. Great work, and accommodated a couple of special requests for some repair work. Also had them tint my tail lights (rather than me doing it and messing up) and they turned out fantastic. There are a few area of the side painting that looks like it wasn't sanded down in between coats. Overall, my car looks great, but I'm really disappointed that he worked on many other cars and treated mine with a low priority. It should not have taken more than 4 weeks to paint the car, but he moved other vehicles in ahead of mine, and 94 days plus another 8 days is ridiculous!! Even more irritating is that I had to pay more at the end, I didn't get to completely finish the headlights, he never gave me an opportunity to do the mirrors or the door handles so they all still have scratches and pits, and that small metal panel, which is the source of water leaks, doesn't look good compared to the rest of the car. Everyone was cool, and they were accommodating, but there has to be more respect for the customer's time and consideration of complaints about things like a leak after an accident. read more

What seemed like a simple dent on the rear fender escalated as blind side sensors and cameras were affected. Larry and team restored everything. The paint matches perfectly on the new side panel and bumper, the sensors again work great and the Lexus came back looking as if it just cam off the showroom floor.
