Wow, wow, wow I have had the most incredible experience on my search for A shop to fix a car door (2025 Toyota Corolla) that had a fight with a 1989 Dodger work truck with a metal front bumper, I was searching yelp and reached out to excess look. I sent a message with pictures asking for a quote, availability, and how long would something like this take. I received a message in less than 30 minutes with a quote. I decided to go with Excel look over other shops. I was helped by Bryce with setting up the day of drop off also with a rental. Arrangements were made for the vehicle to be dropped off before the shop opened Chris. The owner met me early of the day of the drop off to ensure that I got to work on time. Chris and his team are the guys you want to take your car to. They are very honest and reasonable, and they know what they are doing. I have taken multiple luxury vehicles to him from tinting on a G wagon, to curb rash repair on a Rolls Royce, to a respray on a very unique gold Range Rover that got keyed. I hired someone to repair the scratch which only made matters worse, as you'll see in the pics below. I then reached out to excess look, after I was referred by a Good Friend of mine. Chris at Excess Look Auto Solutions is both talented and trustworthy. It is not easy to find a car body shop that you can trust and also has experience working on more luxury cars. I recently went to visit Chris to get an estimate for some minor repairs on my bumper. I first went to the body shop recommended by the Mercedes dealership and they quoted me over $1,300 to repair the damage and said it would take at least 4 days, so that's another few hundred in rental fees. I really did not trust their quote and wanted a second opinion. I asked for recommendations on the Nextdoor app and that is how I came across Excess Look Auto. Scheduling an appointment for a quote was very easy. There location is a little tricky, just turn into parking lot when you see the Taco Bell and they are right behind them. Chris looked over the damage and said "let me try something, I'll be right back". I did not even hear him come back, but within 5 minutes he snapped my bumper back into place and wiped the paint off with a microfiber cloth. He did not charge me and saved me about 2k. I'm glad I went with my gut and I'm even more glad I found these guys. I will only be taking my car here for any cosmetic damages my cars might need in the future. read more

There was a very nice girl that I talked to on the phone, she also was the same girl that welcomed me as I arrived. This is not your regular tunnel style car wash. They wash all cars by hand. Needed to get my car detailed and Excess did it perfectly. My car was dirty and had swirl marks all over it. I was really happy with the gloss on my car and how clean it was. The team was very friendly as well. The entire detailing process took about 4 hours, which is pretty standard, and it came out better than I expected. My car is wrapped on top as well, and they knew how to handle that. My tires and rims looked brand new, like they have just driven off the lot. After lots of research, I decided to take my 540i here for their 4 stage paint restoration/treatment. I had just purchased the car and it was covered in swirl marks that were visible in the sun and REALLY bothered me. PROS: - Great Service - Chris and his team were very communicative from start to finish. Even a text update mid day to let me know how car was coming along. - Very fair pricing. They were running a promo on the 4-stage and for the amount of work, I feel it was a very fair price. - They also cleaned the inside of the car which I was not expecting. - Overall they did a good job on the car. You can tell they take car of your baby while its there. CONS: - They work in a parking garage where lighting isnt as great. When I got car in the sun next day, I saw that they only got about 75% of the swirl marks out. (Mostly missed in two sections on the car). I was super disappointed. Wish they would take car out to sun to spot check the rubbing compound stage before moving on and finishing up. Especially since swirl marks are most evident in direct sunlight. read more
