One year update: Purchased a 2024 Tesla Y and after shopping around at too many shops, had Knick do an Expel PPF front and rear clear wrap. What a life saver that was! 14 months and 30k miles later I dropped the car off to have them take a look for some annual maintenance. The install was done right and the car has looked great since being protected. But, with the miles I drive that front end took some hits. The Expel held up well and after a little annual maintenance I'm telling you it looks brand new like the day that PPF went on. They even repaired an area of the film that I accidentally damaged. I recently purchased a 1999 BMW Z3 that needed a significant amount of paint work (repaint front and rear bumpers, rear quarter panel, and swirl marks everywhere). I got quotes from 5 shops ranging from indie shops to national chains. Lux was the last shop I visited and I quickly got the sense that they were a step beyond the rest. In terms of pricing, Lux was in the middle compared to other independent shops. They were much better priced than the big national shops. In terms of knowledge, Lux was by far the best. Knick knew more about my car than I did. He and Bel provided their thoughts on what they recommended based on the condition of my Z3 and were never pushy or salesperson-y. Bel provided me updates with pictures and videos. She let me know if they found other issues and gave me options to fix them. The quality of their work is exceptional. The attention to detail is clear. They even replaced missing clips/bolts, cleaned out my wheel wells, and polished my headlights during the 1-step paint correction. My car is a daily driver, so I didn't ask for perfection in terms of chasing every swirl mark, repainting every panel with chips, etc. But I can confidently say that my car went from looking like a beater that needs a lot of work, to a car that is clearly taken care of and one that I am proud to look at. Knick and his team did a great job with the car after it was restored from being stolen.... The paint shop made it look great (Sandpiper Collision in Costa Mesa ) --- and then it was recommended by them to have the car ceramic coated to keep it looking shiny! Knick and team did that. - the first coat looked beautiful and it helped make the car look great, what isn't 100% clear ( or wasn't to me ) was how easy the car is to have challenges with any cloth that touches the car and that messes up the ceramic coating. So, my car wash, even after being told to hand wash it - and it doesn't need anything that touches the car, did - and the ceramic needed to be redone. Knick did - it came out better the second time. ;) After being ceramic coated - I was advised that a plastic wrap would be super helpful in keeping her looking beautiful for years to come and easier on the maintenance. They were right. I did the hood , roof and trunk lid as well as the pillars and the mirrors. - note to self - do any service that can be hit by debris or rocks - including the headlights and any trim that can be chipped or dented. A friend had his Alpha 4C Spyder completely PPF'ed by these guys (that car has some seriously complex curves/surfaces). Eco Luxury did an amazing job on that car, and perhaps because I love my cars a little too much...I had them do a complete PPF and ceramic application on my Porsche 718S which came out perfect. It was a difficult project but the results are amazing and so worth it. In case you're wondering, they wrap the PPF film around the edges of the body panels wherever possible for a super clean/detailed install. Just last week I took delivery on a new Defender 110. Prior to off roading it, I had this shop do the front/hood/bumper PPF and as expected, the results are flawless. I also had them custom install some low profile driving lights into the grill and ran the wiring through the engine compartment/bodywork for a totally clean stealth install. They treat the cars they work on like they would their own. They didn't have to do this, but they also threw in some little extras onto the D110 like door edge PPF for ding protection, exterior door handle pocket PPF, even a screen protector for the infotainment touch screen just 'cuz they had some extra material lying around from another project. Extremely thoughtful and appreciated. LOL, I think I just like going by the shop sometimes to see what amazing cool and exotic cars (Corvettes, Porsches, BMW, Audi's, Bentleys, Ferraris, you name it, they've worked on them) are getting work done (PPF, Vinyl wraps, detailing, paint correction/repair, interior work, stealth RD installs, etc). I'm not one to post Yelp reviews but this one just had to be done. Knick is a true professional and did an exceptional job on my Lexus IS Crafted Line. He polished the heck out of it, made it squeaky clean, fixed a faded pin stripe, repainted the front bumper (was looking bad from all the rock chips and other gunk), and basically revived my car to look better than new. And a new bumper like that, I had to get the clear bra, which was also executed to perfection. You need to see how he cuts the clear bra to make minor final adjustments. His hands are so steady, he probably would have done well as a brain surgeon too. And the black rims that were all scratched up... aaah, those black rims. They look BRAND NEW now. They're so nice and shiny that I have now become the worst parallel parker since I want to keep them that way. Thanks a lot, Knick. Knick and Alex are consummate professionals. My experience with EcoLuxury started back in March when I was shopping around for services in anticipation of my Tesla Model Y delivery. Alex actually reached out to me on Facebook which kicked off a call with Knick that resulted in, I'm safe to say, a friendship with him. I've found Knick nothing but honest and communicative. His work speaks for itself but his attitude and knowledge really helped make me feel sure about my decision to use his shop. He also price matched some services for me which made the offer harder to pay up. He takes his time with you, showing you around his shop and the cars (mostly luxury) and the work that is being done on them. It's pretty epic seeing some of the cars he's working on and he seems consistently busy which was also a great sign to me. Knick even went with me to pickup and inspect my car when it finally arrived at the end of June and helped me hone in on a number of issues I notified Tesla of that day. I don't know of any other shops with this level of involvement with their customers. I appreciate his patience as it took a while for Tesla to remedy the delivery issues before I could actually get my car in for window tints, painted badges, full PPF, and ceramic coating. He was still super cool to deal with over these many months and having picked up my finished car just the other day, I'm ecstatic with the results. Another note about Knick's honesty -- he called me a few days after I dropped my car off to tell me they had scratched the rear hatch while they were working on it, but they would be covering the cost to repaint it. Really upstanding approach to customer service and the paint job was perfect. Oh, and his wife put together a little care package for my newborn daughter that was waiting for me when I picked up my car! Can't recommend this shop enough. This was a very long pending review for Knick and his team. I searched for a while for a place that does wraps in Orange County & I finally found out Knick via Facebook. He was able to match the quote that I received from other few vendors. I must admit - they are fantastic crew and service all around. They are knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and constantly expanding their niche for Tesla's. I did a full clear wrap for my X with ceramic coating & black chrome delete. I left my car for almost 3 weeks in Knick's shop to complete these work and this happened right during the initial phase of COVID. I was not at all in a hurry to get back my car as I want them to take time and complete quality work. I visited them often to see the progress on each step. I had an old BMW which I parked outside get hard water spots from my sprinklers just baked on from leaving in the sun. Had the pleasure of working with Nick, the owner who meticulously walked me through their entire process before they started working on my vehicle. Throughout the years, I've dealt with many different detailers and I've learned to not just let anyone detail my car because even though most use the same equipment, the application and attention to detail is not the same! Nick went beyond what was asked and helped me remove a clear coat stain on my trunk as well. They even offered to lend me their shop car, an electric Fiat, so I wouldn't have to worry about not having a vehicle to use in the meantime! I recently tried plasti-dipping badges on my new Tacoma. Eco took care of my windshield chip through my insurance which was so easy. Then they noticed the front and back pillars of my SUV were looking faded and tired and since they did some work on my friends car which turned out great I had no problems letting them do some magic on mine. I was blown away with the results. I attached a pic because if I describe it, it does not really illustrate just how much of a difference the treatment made on those pillars! I spilled fermented Kimchi on my car seats and I had to quickly get my car detailed. Thankfully Knick was able to schedule me in on the same day. BEFORE the cleaning, my whole car smelled SOOOOO bad and I had little hopes. Afterwards, Knick steam cleaned the area several times, applied multiple passes of protein stain remover, shampooed the leather and extracted the moisture and also applied leather conditioner to the full interior. Knick saved the day when rats invaded my car's engine. After the service center at my dealership claimed to have cleaned out the nest and debris and "power-washed" the engine (at great expense), the rat was still showing up every night. I brought the car to Knick. What a difference integrity, knowledge and professionalism makes! He immediately found my furry nemesis' access-point and handled ordering and installing a new fender liner. He found another nest as well as a whole lot more debris. During the time he had my car overnight, he stayed in close contact with me and sent me pictures of the new nest and the debris (so I could show my dealer's service manager). Then he thoroughly steam-cleaned the engine and followed that up with a disinfectant bomb to eradicate the rat's scent. Knick also did some research about preventive care--mothballs, who knew? When I picked up my car, I couldn't believe how thoroughly he addressed my problem. I'm happy to report that I check under the hood every day--and guess what? No rats! Knick is a total gem. I had a very pleasant experience. My 2018 Camry got a windshield crack after a rock hit while I was on the freeway. I was referred to Knick by Sandpiper Collisions. It was easy to schedule an appointment. Upon arrival, Knick greeted me, showed me around his shop, and made me feel very comfortable. It took him only about 35 minutes to finish repairing the crack on the windshield. As promised, Knick was able to reduce about 80% of the crack. The crack is now gone, and only a tiny ding is visible. I am very pleased with the high quality customer service as well as high quality repair. I brought in my e90 to precision for turbo replacement and tune. I mentioned to Mike that I was also interested in fixing a big scratch on the bumper. That's where Knick jumped in.
