Being warmly welcomed at the front door by Satonia, the receptionist and everything-doer, starts my sessions off to a great start each time. The attentive techs support the physical therapists in their quest to get me rehabbed back to baseline and beyond. I have rehabbed 4 body parts over 2+ years at Vista White Rock and have observed many patients come, go and come back to rehab another body part also! I love the mix of ages and fitness levels present at any given time at the clinic from teenage athletes to middle age weekend warriors to the elderly, grateful to regain mobility and increase strength. The surroundings are bright, open and friendly. Small, as well as the large, victories are celebrated by everyone. After previous poor experiences at four other PT clinics for various rehab needs, I took advantage of Vista's 30 minute free consultation to interview them prior to a major foot surgery. I was extremely impressed and started PT soon after my surgery. I was even more impressed with their techniques, challenges, creativity, the way they listen, and, of course, the outcome! Provider Michaela gave me the most thorough examination and physical I have had in my 66 year life. It was quite refreshing to have a provide who was personable and treated me as a person and gave me credit for living in my own body, talking to me as a person, not like an imbecilic lab rat like so many condescending aleopaths I have previously encountered that cut you off mid-sentence. I saw her a second time a few weeks later at a time I thought would have been inconvenient for her. Though I thought I had a purely superficial condition she methodically examined me and took a detailed account of symptoms, their severity and timing. Though she could have accepted my assurances this was just another incidence of a recurring problem she took the time to dig into my case and alerted me to the fact that it could indeed be a problem with severe consequences. During this second visit she also took the time to review my previous visit and earnestly addressed my long list of questions. I really felt like a burden but she insisted on resolving all issues, and did so kindly. Michaela Klose is the most thorough, dedicated medical practitioner I have ever encountered. Furthermore, unlike many MDs I have encountered that consider the Merck the one and only Holy Grail of medicine, she is receptive to holistic modalities and knows that not all healing must come from the pharmacist. They require constant visits, and it feels like nothing but a cash grab. I've been on medication that works great for me. However, when it came time for my refill after 60 days, I was told I had to come in and pay $145--for what? The medication works fine. I followed their instructions back in December, refilled my meds in February, and now it's May and the same issue again. With inflation and the rising cost of living, who can afford to pay out of pocket every time just to get a refill? And let's not even talk about the cost of the prescriptions themselves since I haven't met my deductible. Please explain why an in‑person visit is required for refills within a 60-90 time frame? Every refill requires another appointment, regardless of whether the medication is working. It honestly feels like they are milking patients. I only see these people for one thing yet they want me to come in for other services. Why? I only want to see you for one thing. They then said, I would need to show them proof of getting wellness services else where. Why? I don't have to prove anything to you'll. I only see you for 1 thing. So why the hold up. If the money went toward improving the office, it might make more sense--but the place looks untouched since the day they moved in, likely back in the '70s. It's old and outdated. Trust me--if you value your time and money, go somewhere else. Find a provider who cares more about patients than padding their pockets. GREED IS RUNNING THIS OFFICE.

Disappointing to see such a good-intentioned doctor purposefully ripping people off . . . Dr…read more Dubrow is good at her job and deserves much respect for the dedication she has put toward her professional career. New patients receive a folder of paperwork to sign, one of the most important being a notice that Dr. Dubrow provides a far-advanced evaluation that seldom few doctors provide, and that while this is a tremendous benefit to her patients, insurance companies might not pay for it. I asked Dr. Dubrow about this when we were chatting at our first appointment and she advised that she legally cannot provide services to patients she has not first evaluated. This seemed very sensible to me, and knowing I had good insurance, I wasn't concerned moving forward. That is, until I got a bill for $262. What Dr. Dubrow fails to mention is the reason her "evaluation" is denied is because she bills under code 99205, which is a Level 5 severity code for MEDICAL DOCTORS, not for her PhD or DPT. Her licenses require her to bill under therapeutic codes, which I can only assume pay less hence why she avoids using them. When Dr. Dubrow contracted to be a provider under my insurance policy, one of the things she would have had to agree to, was to properly bill under the correct codes for her medical license. If she has issue with the rate she is paid, this is undoubtedly as issue she the right to take up with insurance carriers, but she has no right to put her patients, those she has dedicated her career to help, in the middle. It is unkind, and in my opinion, immoral.
