I scheduled a pick up from the airport. We just came back from a 14 plus hour trip with a young child. I received a text about my driver and to contact him when we arrive. I texted him and had been communicating with him on where we are in terms of baggage claim. When we got our luggage he told us where to meet him. He even sent his location. After 45 minutes he was still not there but his location shows that he is close by. When I called him he said he is no longer our driver. I contacted the dispatch and was told another driver will pick us up and was unable to say what was the reason on why my ride was canceled. The other driver said he is now about 30 to 45 minutes away and blamed us for not calling right away. I explained to him what happened and he said we should have called Uber Black instead. I told him sure next time that's what we will do. When I complained to Execucar I was sent an email that I will get a 20$ off for my next trip with them. Then my elderly aunt had a pick up from Execucar a week later. She kept receiving texts and calls to hurry up or else the driver will leave her. She was so anxious and scared that she was going to be left. I do not recommend this company at all. They used to be great up until this year. read more

Worst service! Driver was to pick up my elderly parents at LAX Bradley. Paid extra for the driver to meet them inside to help with luggage. Also paid for the large SUV. Driver was over an hour late. Never made it inside the airport to help them. Car was a stupid van. Driver wasn't cleanly dressed. All in all, an absolute nightmare. Will never use their service again. Booked a pickup which included meet and greet at baggage claim and a nice 18% tip totally $174.59 Only for the driver to no call no show. Flight got in on time, no delays. Landed at 2:08pm as scheduled and included in my flight# they have on the reservation. Driver was no where to be found at baggage claim. No call, no sign, no anything. What a rip off. then to contact corporate/customer service, of course no one answers. I will continue to call everyday until I get my damn refund. what a scam. read more

It really pains me to feel (100%) compelled to leave this review, but my husband, and his company, used to use Execucar right up through a few years ago and we, too, personally used them. My God has this company ever gone straight to H in a handbasket. The reason that I will not mention our driver's name from last (last!) prior trip, is because he went out on a limb for us by parking in an area where he could've gotten a ticket. Why did he feel compelled to do this?? Because he could not understand plain and simple instructions (due to an inability to understand English, apparently) that my husband gave him about "where" he should meet us at LAX. He was about 15 minutes late and there we were...the two us standing by the luggage claim with too much luggage for two people and only one cart to handle. We needed him...but we do appreciate the (desperate) risk that he took to get to us....by risking getting a ticket. THIS, however, is the problem: I told my husband that I "pray" that we don't get a driver (Morteza K.) that we got during our prior vacation before the one that we just got back from at the end of this past week. My husband said, "Don't worry, chances are that we won't". Well, well...we were standing at the curbside at LAX waiting for the driver and my husband said, "Oh, nooo. You won't believe this...it's Mr. Cologne again." (Prior trip: He had so much cologne on that I put on a mask and was trying to keep my nose out the window and had told my husband that I was feeling nauseated and a bit dizzy during our last trip with Morteza K.) I said, "Oh, my God, no. You're sitting behind Morteza this time." As he pulled up in his vehicle, I started walking toward his vehicle as he was getting out of it. He walked around the back of it and with the SAME dead expression on his face that he had prior to getting out of the vehicle, he just glared and looked straight at me...No "Hello", No "How are you?", "Did you have a nice trip?", No "Good evening". Nothing! (very, very creepy). Additionally, when a slight breeze blew, as he was about 8 or 9 feet away from me and my husband, we could smell the absolute "bellowing" of his (terrible) cologne. When we got in the car, we immediately rolled down the windows -- the cologne scent was inconceivable, offensive, and nauseating. He barely understood any English that my husband was telling him. Instead of Morteza just taking my husband's word that he would let him (Morteza) know about an alternate route that he should take VERY CLOSE to our house (because the one guiding Morteza on his GPS was closed), Morteza whips out his phone on a curvy road, pitch black dark road with "some" street lights on it, and readjusts his GPS on his phone. Thank goodness that we did not swerve into the few cars that did pass us on this road late at night. Either he did NOT understand what my husband said to him that HE would give him a few instructions as we got closer to our house OR the driver couldn't be bothered by getting "any" instructions from a customer and arrogance overtook him. This company USED TO be so good for a good number of years...but about this past year or so...WHAT THE 'H' HAPPENED? Are you a male with a pulse?? Execucar will hire you as one of their drivers. Horrible service on timing. I have booked this company 3 times now and all 3 times they were late! My first car was late by 45 minutes, my second was late by 20 min and my third, well my 3rd still hasn't arrived. They are now 25 min late and I was informed that it's going to be another 20 min before they get here. Reason being, "I am coming from Hollywood". There is a reason i booked a service for pickup at a specific pickup time I paid for the driver to show up at the exit of LAX and I had to take the shuttle to go to the Uber location. If I knew I'd have to do that I would have just taken an Uber as opposed to the higher prices. This is the worst company. Do not waste your time using them! Unfortunately have to revise my review due to a recent horrible experience that first, happened, and second, was not responded to in a professional satisfactory manner. The morning of July 7, 2019 the most unprofessional thing that I have ever experienced during my extensive travel over the past 10 years happened. It was completely unacceptable for ExecuCar to call, leave a VM and unilaterally CANCEL my ride ** 25 minutes before pick-up ** (an ExecuCar reservation was made a month earlier). Simply a voicemail with no explanation. Then, to top it off, no follow-up at all - no apology, no text, no phone call, no email. Did I get picked up? Were my plans inconvenienced? Do they even care? So I send an email with a request for fair retribution (credit for both legs of my trip). I immediately get a canned reply offering me 10% off a future ride. No apology, no proper compensation, nothing worthwhile. FOR NO SHOW - UNILTERALLY CANCELLING MY PREPAID RIDE BY VOICEMAIL 20 MINUTES BEFORE PICK-UP TIME.....ARE YOU KIDDING ME? shame, shame, shame. not they proper way to conduct business. read more

I don't recommend using this service. It wasn't a premium experience except for the car quality and the driver being nice. I could have gotten that in an Uber Black for less money. They gave me the wrong driver number for my LAX pickup, and when I tried the dispatch number for over 30 minutes, no one answered. I was stuck. I've filed two service requests with them to let them know what happened and ask why it happened with no response. Waste of money and time. read more

We live about 40 minutes from San Diego Airport. During our recent trip to Italy, we looked for an easy and convenient way to get to the airport and back home. We found Execucar online and booked our rides, even making a hassle-free change to our pickup time after completing our order. The cars were nice and comfortable. The chauffeurs showed up on time, and they were friendly and professional. We'll definitely use Execucar again. read more

Flyers beware! If there is so much as a minimal delay in deplaning or getting your luggage, your driver CAN and WILL leave without picking you up. Our plane had problems with landing gear and as such problems with getting our luggage out. We had been waiting to deplane and for our luggage and went 10 minutes over one hour to which the driver replied that was 'over time'. If you have been to LAX anytime in the recent past, you will know that you have to take a LAXit bus to a smaller parking lot outside the airport...the process of getting on the next bus to that lot could take anywhere up to an hour. It might just be worth it to take an Uber or Lyft. read more

Arrived at SAN airport at 11:25 pm from Atlanta. Made our way to the baggage claim. It was now midnight. No driver there to greet. No limousine in sight. Walked over to the Supershuttle (same company - so no wonder the service level is dismal) booth across the street. Made the attendant call local dispatch. They told us the driver had shown up for an earlier flight arrival and that there was no alternative transportation available after midnight. When the pre-arranged ride to the airport flaked on me at 1:30 AM (four hours before pick-up) I contacted Execucar/Supershuttle and hoped they would come through. We used ExecuCar for our latest trip to Hawaii. They picked us up at our home at 5:40 am and got us to the San Diego airport as scheduled. When we arrived back home in San Diego, they picked us up as scheduled and safely returned us to our door step. The driver's were very professional and kind. The cars were in new condition, clean and very comfortable. The driver's were very safe even though we experienced quite a bit of traffic. This made getting to/from the airport a breeze. Super happy with ExecuCar! This was our first time using them, since we normally fly from SNA and live only 5 minutes from there. We needed to leave from LAX, so searched for transportation. We took a short ride from the Homewood Suites Liberty Station to the Cruise Pier and it was money well spent. I do not understand how I can get a confirmation email yesterday, and then this morning as I'm preparing to leave, I get a call to say that there are not enough drivers, so my ride has been cancelled. I was traveling for business to Sweden and had a super early morning flight. I was worried there might not be reliable Uber or cab at that hour in the AM. I remember a friend told me about this service, so I tried it. Whoooa, what a relief it was to have the driver there on time and have a safe and uneventful ride to the airport. They were there with our name on a tablet when we returned, helped us get our luggage and got us home safely. Today, I had another super early pick up, so I tried them again. The driver was 5 minutes early and I got to the airport safely and in plenty of time. The first time I used them, I called to book. For this trip, I booked it all online. Both methods were easy and effective. My friend uses this service every time she goes to the airport for any reason, work or pleasure. I can surely see why. It's easy to get spoiled with this type of service!!! read more

I was scheduled for a 5:05 AM pickup to the airport. At 4:05 AM I received a call that they had no drivers and I would have to find another ride to the airport. I was willing to pay $50 more for guaranteed, reliable transportation to the airport and they totally let me down. Fortunately, Lyft stepped in and got me to my flight on time and I saved $50. I will never use Ececucar or SuperShuttle again and I hope you learn from my mistake. The only compensation they offered was a 10% discount on a future ride which does me no good since I will never use them again!! read more

Recently took a trip to Europe. Plane left San Diego at 6:30 AM. Needed 3:40 AM pickup to get to airport on time. At 3:40 AM Donald was at my door. He took care of luggage, He got us to airport safely and on time. He took care of the luggage again. Return trip arrived at San Diego Airport at 11:30 PM. Ivan was waiting at the bottom of the escalator with sign with my name on it. He took us to baggage claim, got the luggage, took us to the car, handled the luggage, and drove us home safely. At the house he took care of the luggage again. Could not ask for better or more professional service. I have used ExecuCar before and will use again. read more

January 1st, 2019-SuperShuttle/ExecuCar left 6 of us stranded, 11:30pm at the airport in 45 degree weather. That's really all that needs to be said, but I'll say more. They accepted our payment & provided a confirmation number. Standing outside (to make sure we wouldn't miss them if they showed up), we found it very difficult to reach a person by phone. Couldn't find a phone number on the order confirmation. Tried looking them up online for a number, ended up getting the number from Yelp. More cold time spent outside. After difficult navigation of SuperShuttle/ExecuCar phone system, finally reached a representative. Told them the problem, and was transferred to a dispatcher (Richard). Richard told me they didn't have a shuttle for us. Poor Richard had to listen to me vent. I told him to escalate the call to his supervisor. He put me on extended hold, without checking in with me. I figured I wasn't going to be connected to anyone, so hung up and started over. Customer Service tip: Let the customer know if your not going to show up. Eventually, I got Richard again. He told me I had hung up, and he had been talking to his boss. Customer service tip: Immediately upon hearing there was a justifiably irate customer, the supervisor should have picked up the line to assure me they are looking into the problem, instead of leaving me hanging. Bottom line, they told me it would be at least another 1/2 hour before they could POSSIBLY get someone to pick us up. We ended up getting three different Uber and Lyft rides, with almost immediate pick up. Spent about $40 more for the three rides. I couldn't possibly trust SuperShuttle/ExecuCar for any future business. Independent contractors or not, they can't support their customers, Uber and Lyft can. _ 1/3/19, I responded to SuperShuttle/ExecuCar's reply on my negative review. - 1/4/19, SuperShuttle/ExecuCar asked for copies of the receipts for the three rides we had to use, in place of the one shuttle they were supposed to provide. I sent them the copies, and am awaiting a response. _ 1/4/19, SuperShuttle/ExecuCar offered $21.57 compensation, instead of the $40 we had to pay because SuperShuttle/ExecuCar did not provide the contracted service. I refused the offer, and told them we should be compensated the entire $40. - 1/4/19, SuperShuttle/ExecuCar refused to compensate me for the loss their failure to provide service caused me. read more

We needed an early morning shuttle to catch a flight at LAX. My husband and I scheduled our pick up for 5:15 AM. At 5:20 AM, when no one had shown up, your dispatcher Valerie in Phoenix, finally called to say that she did not have a driver. She said that she was working on sending a taxi and would call me back. When she called me back, she said it would be about 15 minutes for the taxi to show up. I told her that we did not have time to wait and we would drive ourselves to the airport.  Then - the poor taxi driver called us a half an hour later when we were on our way to LA, and he was waiting at our house!   Your dispatcher did not even have the courtesy to cancel the taxi! The taxi driver was upset and we were already completely stressed out by this point. This issue resulted in us having to drive ourselves and spend $30 a day to leave our car at LAX. I am so disgusted with SuperShuttle-I will use every venue, TripAdvisor, Yelp and anything else I can think of to let people know that your service is not dependable. Kay Holmes read more

My experience was excellent. This was my first time using ExecuCar. I used it from LAX to my home in Hollywood. The driver, David L, learned on his own that my flight was arriving early, he then arrived timely, and directly at the airport terminal. The car was a black Chevrolet Suburban and was clean. David knew how to drive and knew exactly where to go. I could not have been more pleased. Based on my experience I highly recommend them. read more

We booked a round trip from San Diego to Los Angeles airport. We requested a "Premium Sedan". The photo on their web site shows a luxury Cadillac sedan. What we got was a giant Chevrolet SUV. My wife has mobility issues and it is extremely difficult to climb up into such a truck. The company did not even have a step stool to help. At best, their ad is highly misleading and at worst is bait and switch. Having said that, drivers both ways were courteous and professional. read more

Tried this company based on reviews. Not sure how they have such a high rating.. 1st problem was when we were awaiting our airport ride they never called or texted to confirm. I called them and they assured me the driver would call before his arrival to let us know they're on the way.. Never happened. I called again at 3:00am before his 3:45am arrival and I got the most obnoxious person to provide customer service. When I asked if the driver would be calling to say he's on the way. The guy responded "I mean he can, sometimes they do I guess" so unprofessional when you're leaving for the airport and punctuality and professionalism is so important. We paid for a "luxury vehicle, ie: Cadillac, Mercedes, etc" as listed on their site. The driver came in an extremely old suburban suv that rattled the entire 1.5 hours to LAX. He never greeted us, he hardly assisted with the luggage and drove like a maniac. On the way back is another story: We paid for the meet and greet at baggage claim. The girl never found us there. We waited for bags, collected them all, and waited.. and waited.. and waited. Finally we call her after almost 30 minutes past our pick up time and she says she's waiting by the baggage claim. Which she wasn't because that's where we were. A few moments later she shows up from a different part of the airport, dressed so inappropriately, she was wearing such a short skirt it was awkward and even more awkward when she bent over to load the luggage in her SUV. We were expecting the car to be close, which it wasn't. We had to walk FAR. Across the street, into the parking garage to which she couldn't remember where she parked and we followed her aimlessly for a few minutes towing our luggage behind. Finally we find her SUV which was nice and new, however she parked so close to another car we couldn't get in one side. We had to wait again for her to back out and we finally were on our way. Then she drove incredibly slow the entire 1.45 hr drive home. People were aggressively passing her in the fast lane and carpool. Not to mention she was playing the most annoying music and froze us with the A/C. I would not recommend this company, they try to pass off as very professional and reliable, however they are not especially for the price they charge. I've used many car services in New York and they are very professional and reliable with confirmation texts, emails, phone calls, timely pick up and drop off, and definitely properly dressed. read more

I've been a customer of Execucar for a few years. Until this past NYE weekend I would have given them a 4-star. Let me list the ways they sucketh: 1) Reserved on mobile site, reservations don't show up on account. 2) On Monday at around 11AM, I called them to change the car pickup from 730PM to 8PM. Luckily in the afternoon I checked the confirmation email since the genius changed the pickup to 8AM (3 hours BEFORE the time I called). 3) At 715PM I get a call from the driver saying that he's on his way and if we don't mind, could we come down sooner since they're busy that night. WTH?? How unprofessional is that?? Not our problem that you're busy that night. It's NYE, you should have been better prepared. 4) At 11PM I called to move up our pick up time to 1AM from 130AM. They said no problem. At 1245AM I get a rambling phone call from the driver who apparently doesn't speak a word of English. Only thing I got was that he can't pick us up at 1AM anymore and will be there at 130AM. He doesn't show up until 140AM, 40 minutes after when he was suppose to be there. I understand that NYE is a busy night but that's now the customer's problem. If you say you're going to pick up your customer at a certain time, you be there at that time. I emailed them to complain and I got some generic apology back. Apology not accepted. With all the competition especially from Uber (who btw is excellent), you'd think these guys would focus a bit more on service. I guess that's what happens with big, bloated companies.
