Earlier this week, I dropped that laptop and damaged the hard drive. I went to Office Depot and found out it would cost quite a bit to fix--it might not even be worth fixing. Just then, my cell phone rang and it was about my terminally ill sister--they believe she only has a few more days. At that point, I started crying and told the employee I had to leave. I'm sure he overheard some of the conversation. The manager came over because I was upset. I told him it wasn't anything to do with the store - the employee was really great--this was a personal problem. He said he didn't care and that I wasn't leaving his store upset. He took my broken computer and gave me a brand new one. It's a better computer. As I write this review, I am in tears because I still cannot believe he did that for me. I can't express how much his gesture touched me. I will be loyal to them forever and I want everyone to know what Office Depot is about.

I went in for my TSA Pre Check appointment & the directions clearly state to bring your state ID…read more(see photo) so that's what I showed up with. The clerk Sharon helping me chewed me out even though I showed her the text stating it only says to bring your state ID. Like literally yelling at me in the store with other people around. Such a humiliating experience. Sharon is a very unprofessional & rude employee. I 1000% recommend NOT coming to this location especially for TSA pre check.

Generally in furniture stores I feel you get mobbed but this was so far in the other direction where it seemed there wasn't anyone even working in this ghost town. I went about checking out chairs. Turns out they don't update their online inventory well so that most of what I found online before driving out here wasn't actually available. I came across one nice guy finally who apparently was a stock person. He was able to confirm certain chairs weren't available, and was very nice to hep me, but said I had to find a sales person to get more info on a few things. He took me up to a very exasperated person who helped but was rushed and didn't quite pay attention to what I was saying for the situation. The front desk gal that ended up checking me out was very nice. the chair I picked out was not marked, the gal that priced it was quoting me for a table which I wasn't even asking for and had to remind her of twice, and then seemingly just made a price up for the chair I was actually asking for which I'm not sure was really worth the price. I probably should have just walked out and went elsewhere....the chair I got is in great condition but I just don't think worth the cost for ONE chair. I get it for what they want to sell in bulk office space wise, but considering my office is soon to be looking for furniture, I have learned a valuable lesson of where we shouldn't go. No refunds for used which is what the bulk of the store was that I saw.

Walked into Staples with my wife and daughter to print invitations and grab a few things. Saw some…read moreiTunes cards and picked up $120 worth. Being visually impaired, I asked where the printers were and got hit with "over there... straight." No real direction, just brushed off. Checked out, even signed up for the rewards program, everything seemed fine. Before even making it home, checked the cards--they didn't work. Went back to the store, and the same woman was there. Whole energy off. Loudly saying, "Yeah, they back to return what they just bought," like announcing it to everybody. Then she starts yelling at her own employee at the register, going off about how the cards weren't for sale, even though another manager had already looked at those same cards earlier and said it was fine. When it was time to get the refund, she told the cashier to go help someone else--basically kicking her off her own register mid-situation. The other employee nearby looked completely shocked and uncomfortable. The attitude during the refund process was nasty, trying to push keeping one of the cards even though it didn't work. Unprofessional, disrespectful, and uncomfortable experience all around. Some people really don't have no customer service sense at all. They won't be getting business again.

My complaint is about the female staff member behind the Copy Center desk and another female staff member who was walking around the Copy Center and behind the desk. I hadn't been to this location in over a year and visited remembering that their customer service was nice. Not this time! Their Customer Service has critically declined! I needed to make some copies and scan a document. At the desk, I was advised the minimum charge for staff to do it is $5 and was directed to the self-serve machines. One machine had a big green out of order sign. The first machine I tried went into a looped reboot cycle. The second machine wouldn't process my card given multiple tries. A line was beginning to form. The lady behind the desk (who said she was a manager) and the other staff member treated us as though we were inconvenient bothers and acted like they didn't want to be at work that day anyway. They even ignored us when we asked for assistance! I witnessed one staff member using a condescending tone with the gentleman in front of me. They insisted that we keep trying to use their broken machines instead of offering to make the copies for us. I told the manager (?) I would try again and it doesn't seem right for her to charge me a $5 min when their self service machines are malfunctioning. I wasted at least 20 minutes moving from one machine to another while the two staff members gave us absolutely horrible customer service.

The top of the desk was used; the base was new. I asked the salesperson if she could do better on the price. She said no. I told her I'd take the floor model. Could she do any better? No. I really needed the desk because my arm and shoulder were killing me, so I said I'd buy it. Then we got to "delivery." They were gonna charge me something ridiculous to bring it to my home, five miles away. I mean, like $150. The desk was $279. So the salesperson asked me what kind of vehicle I had. I have a small car, but the cargo area is large, so it actually fit! Then I was told there was a $41 charge for "assembly." I was buying the floor model that was already put together, so... ??? HUH??? Salesperson wouldn't take the charge off. Against my better judgment, I still bought the desk. I guess the pain won out; I needed this thing ASAP! At the end of the transaction, after I had paid and had the desk loaded into my car, I was under the impression that the guys from the store would come to my house and bring the desk inside. I had chatted with the salesperson a bit more, and my understanding was that the $41 assembly charge would be offset by them helping me bring the desk in. Nope. I had misunderstood. The charge was sticking and they were not doing ANYTHING as far as delivery or set-up. Putting the thing into my car was the end of the transaction. I was left standing there with a heavy desk in my car and no way to unload it when I got home. I truly don't know what came over me when I accepted these ridiculous charges. A half-used desk, floor model, no delivery or set-up... I had to wait for a handyman I hired to come by in order to get the desk into my house. I helped him bring it in and ended up banging up some woodwork in the house that now has to be repaired. I just wasn't strong enough to do heavy lifting. Hopefully my physical ailments will improve from using the desk. I expect to have a least a bit of positivity from this experience! I would not recommend this store. (On top of all of this, they don't stock many of the items featured on their website, nor do they have free delivery as indicated on the site.)

Vass & Lynne Sirpolaidis were the best business owners I've worked for by far. I have always admired them as people as well as business owners. If I ran a business, I would follow their plan to a "T". The business they ran then was top notch. With their daughter at the helm of Eon and Vass and Lynne's involvement, I have no doubt this is an excellent company to work for. Here is a company that believes in top notch quality service down to the simplest detail. In the "olden days" Vass insisted even the shipping labels be placed deliberately on packages with care (squarely and centered) There was never half-a**ing anything. Their prices have always been competitive and the quality of service has kept their loyal customers. Though I'm 48 now and wore my body out a bit over the 12 years (I can feel it now yet I still run circles around anyone I work with) I would go back in a heartbeat to work for this family oriented business and be part of something really big again. The problem was that when I selected a certain binding option, the right side of my pages kept getting cropped off. However, when I chose a different binding, the issue didn't occur, so it clearly wasn't a formatting problem on my end. I explained this to the employee at the print center counter, but he immediately dismissed it as a formatting issue without really looking into it. When I asked if there was any way to complete the order in-store with his help, he simply told me it was the same process as online and didn't offer any further assistance. It was frustrating because I came in specifically for support, and it felt like my concerns were brushed off instead of being properly addressed. I was hoping for a more helpful and solution-oriented experience, especially since in-store staff should have the ability to troubleshoot or assist with printing and binding issues more directly.

Pages within the index were torn and the front cover was also damaged. I reported this to the vendor who in turn gave me a full refund. I tried to fix it but I actually made matters worse. So, I took it to Office Max here in western Highlands Ranch. In less than 24 hours I went to pick it up. It was beautifully done. However I wanted the card stock cover laminated. They did that while I waited. The crew in the printshop did an very professional and awesome job! My thanks to Office Max!
