He's done everything from installing my bathroom vanity, to installing the kitchen faucets and my dishwasher. He even installed and set up all my new kitchen lighting. He has been nothing but professional on all these projects. He is artistic, and each job is done to perfection. I highly recommend Ty. He really can do just about any job you need done, and his work is always sure to impress you. The quality of his work is amazing and his very reasonable pricing is a win-win for everyone.

This could be repairing something that modern society says we should throw away or just issues with older homes that can't use off the shelf replacements. I also excel at solving a breath of little issues at once. So if you have a long list of small "honey do" lists that you don't want to call several trades, I can tackle a variety of problems if I'm told of them ahead of time. General home maintenance, Carpentry, light plumbing and electrical ( this is repair work, I can't pull permits), welding, painting/staining, installing grab bars, building cabinets, wood flooring, LVP flooring, window treatments, technology integration, etc. For all you mountain property owners, I get it, finding reliable people to work on mountain property is difficult. I do charge to travel, but am willing to travel to the mountains.

    Save yourself a headache. Don't use Martinez Maintenance Pros. Eric the plumber came out 3xs to…read moremake a 1 trip repair and it still wasn't right. Be aware and watchfull: Plumber Eric with Martinez Maintenance Pros. who is contracted with Choice Home Warranty company. Came out to repair a couple leaks and the toilet. It took him 3 trips out because he didn't properly repair the issues. He said first trip out was to assess the issues and get approval for the repair. He told me the service fee I handed him my card, he said he couldn't take payment that way. I asked do you have cash app or Zelle? He said no, he could only take cash. He was given cash then he started to leave.....without giving me a receipt. Funny thing, I saw on "Thumbtack" that those are the forms of payments that he takes. 2nd trip...kitchen sink leak he said was repaired...it wasn't he had to return to replace the faucet. So, I sent him a picture of the one I wanted which was under the allowance given by the warranty company, Apparently he chose a different faucet as a replacement without informing me of the type. The replacement didn't fit the hole pattern. 3rd trip... he was to replace the faucet, I wasn't home when he came. When I got home, I saw the sink had a big gapping hole. I called him about the hole and he told me most customers go buy a cap or a soap dispenser. I said why would I do that when the faucet I showed him had a dispenser. He said he paid more out of pocket for the one he installed, and if he came back I'd have to pay for installation. Obviously, {another cash transaction}. So, now I'm stuck with a big gapping hole in the sink, where even more water could leak through. Eric was scheduled to come back out to replace the faucet and was a no call no show 3 times. He keeps cancelling the appointments.

    Erik came out as part of a Choice Home Warranty claim in mid-February. At that time the washer was…read morediagnosed to have a faulty control board. Even though Choice Home Warranty approved the claim he failed to follow-through with returning to replace the board. The board was supposedly ordered, but he never communicated when he'd return. I gave him multiple opportunities to make things right, and he ended up ghosting me. I am now back at square with a new technician being assigned to the case. I do not recommend Martinez Maintenance Pros based on my experience.

    When I booked this move, I clearly explained in the notes that I was reserving 2 hours and that the…read morejob would involve loading a 15' rental truck at my old address in Longmont and unloading it at my new home in Ward (about 40 minutes away). I noted it was a small load--just some furniture and boxes--while it might take a bit longer due to the drive to Ward, the last time I moved the same amount of stuff it took under 2 hours. I was upfront and detailed. On the day of the move, I checked in via text and phone, and they confirmed the appointment time. But when the scheduled time arrived, the mover called to say they had made a scheduling mistake and were running late, but were on their way. They ended up arriving an hour late. Once they arrived, loading the truck took them over 2 hours. They often carried just one box at a time without using a dolly. A friend and I had even staged many items at the curb to make things easier. My friend, who was driving the truck I rented, also helped a lot throughout their time--far more than he should have needed to. About two-thirds of the way through loading, I asked whether they were leaving space for the couch. The lead mover said, "What couch?"--despite me showing them everything that needed to go ahead of time, and specifically pointing out that the couch was the biggest item. They had to stop and rearrange the truck to make it fit. Once the truck was fully packed, I told the lead I'd meet them at the new place. That's when he told me he had hurt his back and seemed to suggest, without saying it outright, that he might not be able to continue. I reminded him I only had the truck for three more hours, and I had hired them to help unload--I physically could not do it alone. He agreed to finish the job. He then asked me for the address (which I had already provided in the booking notes, with a note that it was a 40 min drive) and seemed shocked it was in Ward. He said he and his father-in-law (the other mover) were going to grab food and then would meet us there, and restart the clock when they arrived after their dinner break. I was frustrated that they were going to be delayed as it was getting late, but I accepted it and said I'd see him at the new place. He also asked for my payment code at this point to get paid for the two hours of work already completed. I gave it--regretfully. My friend and I drove up to the new house. He began unloading while we waited. They never showed up. My friend ended up unloading the entire truck by himself in under an hour--faster than it took two paid movers to load it. This experience was incredibly frustrating. These movers were unprofessional, dishonest, and inefficient. If it hadn't been for my friend, I would have been stranded with a full truck I couldn't unload. I absolutely do not recommend this company to anyone.
