I said I will walk across the street to the McDonald's to buy a drink and come back by then. I got to the corner and they called me back to say that the mechanic left for the day already and to return the next day, try to come by 5pm as he leaves at 6. Next day Thu I took off early from work and got there before 5pm. A different guy at the counter said it'll be over an hour because it's "first come, first serve", like I was trying to cut in line or something. He said it'll be better to return the following day on Fri at 10am when there's less people. Returned on Fri at noon with my husband to drop off the car and left it there. We said go ahead and check for freon leak and while at it go ahead and change oil. He tried to upsell us on everything else under the sun. They do that every time. We went to pickup after work and they said there was a leak and it will be a $2,000.00 repair. We paid for the oil change and left. From now on we are taking our business somewhere else.
